·Title of the thinking routine:
Explanation game: A routine for exploring causal understanding.
·Explanation:
After reading/talking about the dossier and showing some examples of the didactic unit, the pupils must talk about some advertising
pictures that will be provided. They will have a guide with aspects of the visual message which they can make questions about. The pupils formulate
and write questions that must be answered and talked in groups.
·Resources:
-Dossier
-Advertising pictures (Uploaded on 'Moodle').
-A guide with some aspects of the visual message.
·How are you going to use it?
The purpouse of this routine is activate pupil's attention in matters of analysis and interpretation of pictures. This routine could work very
well as a pre-activity before to start the teamwork to develop the oral expositions. I think that one session would be enough to put into practice
all that concepts learned in this didactic unit. All the student will have the opportunity to prove different teamworks and finally chose the team that fits
them better in order to develop the oral expositions in the next activity.
·6 groups of 4 students, all the group members will change every 10 minutes, they can't repeat group, they must be in a different group at every time.
