 CoordinatorsMeeting
The host of the short-term students exchange - Italian school coordinator
Mrs Rita D’Aquino welcomed partners from all countries involved in the project and
introduced the programme for the meeting with all the activities prepared for
students and teachers.
The International Coordinator, Mrs Beata Cechowska Atay started the discussion
about the meeting in Turkey and the problems related to the tense situation in the
country. In this regard, she referred that the Polish National Agency and students
families do not consider safe the meeting in Turkey. As a consequence, also the
teachers meeting previously planned will be cancelled. All the tasks related to the
meeting in Turkey will be redistributed on the period from December 2016 to May
2017. The topic “Music and Dance” will be consequently developed from December
to February by all partners in their own schools.
As for the meeting in Poland the International Coordinator asked the partners to
confirm the date for the short term exchange. Partners agreed on the period from
28th
May to 3rd
June 2017.
 Short termstudents exchangein Poland
The meeting in Poland will be held from 28th
May to 3rd
June 2017 (arrival date - 28th
May, departure day - 3rd
June 2017). The topic for the meeting will be “Volunteering”
but it will be expanded to the topic of Turkey, “Music and Dance”.
The main tasks of the schedule according to the Erasmus Plus plan will be:
 Happy Song competition (December);
 Music and Dance Therapy and their impact on health (December, January and
February);
 Meeting a volunteer and charity action (March, April, May);
 Baking cookies for the local orphanage;
 International Disco with charity tasks and happy games;
 Karaoke singing with local seniors;
 Collecting pencils for children in Africa;
5
 “Dream Post” – writing and sending letters to chronically ill children;
 Christmas visit to retired teachers;
 Third and fourth edition of the E-magazine;
 School competition on happiness demotivators;
 Valentine’s Day – the Day of Kindness;
 Final event promoting the project;
 Evaluation of the project.
Polish school is responsible for conducting and implementing the above mentioned
tasks over the period from December 2016 to June 2017.
The final programme will be prepared by the host school and sent to all the partners
(Turkey needs it one month before the visit due to the obligation of delivering it to
the Board of Education and Municipality Office).
 Facebook groups
Facebook groups: “Happiness hunters” and “Get addicted to happiness” are still a
direct communication platform for students and teachers, and the space to present
carried out activities, on a regular bases;
 Oxford HappinessQuestionnaire
Questionnaires were carried out in all schools according to plan. The final result of
each school is to be sent to Joanna Sołtysiak, in order to prepare a graphical of final
results and compare them;
 Project`sdissemination
All the participants are supposed to promote the project`s results at local, regional,
national and international levels (it can be done by the Internet, publications,
seminars, conferences, workshops, multi-media, networks, exhibitions etc.). In line
with this premise in Italy there were two institutional events with local authorithies.
 Project activities
The activities written in the Application Form from December 2016 till June 2017
were revised during the coordinators meeting in Italy as a consequence of the
cancellation of the meeting in Turkey.
- it was agreed that every school can add more activities concerning the topics
of the project;
6
- schools from Spain and Poland have the task to organize competition on
happiness demotivators and publish them on the website and Facebook (May
2017);
- each partner school is obliged to present the results of each mobility to the
school and local community;
- in June 2017 each partner school is obliged to prepare evaluation of the
second year of the project (results and conclusion on the website and
Twinspace), design the third and fourth edition of e-magazine and send it to
the local authorities, organizations, parents and media + website, Facebook);
 Erasmus Corners, Happy Talks, Happy Wall
It was reminded that each partner school is responsible for updating the Erasmus
Corner. In addition, students and teachers are required to use the applications
designed by Joanna Sołtysiak (Happy Talk, Happy Wall) in order to communicate
and to exchange information on current topics.
 Communication
It was decided that students who participate in mobilities are obliged to constant
contact with other participants of the project through Twin Space and other
groups of the project on Facebook.
As it happened in the previous meetings, all expenses for the project meeting in Italy
were covered by each school out of their own project budget. In addition Italian
school found sponsors which contributed to some of the costs and to the general
success of the activities. As a consequence, the Italian headmaster Anna Maria Leone,
the coordinator Rita D’Aquino and all the teachers of the Erasmus Team would like to
thank these sponsors for their contribution. Special thanks go to host families, to
students and to all the partners of the project for their happy participation in the
activities and workshops organized.
Thank you very much,
Rita D’Aquino
