1. Job description
The incumbent in this role shall manage the day-to-day operations of supporting IT Infrastructure. The
role will provide Design & Architect support for the IT infrastructure to take care of current and future
needs. Should be able to lead IT projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
This position will serve as an escalation point from other IT Team members.
Position Responsibilities
 Schedule and direct activities to resolve IT problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Provide
technical leadership to IT Operations team.
 Awareness of Dev-Ops / Automation processes in Software Development environment.
 Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and complex heterogeneous technical environment.
 Eagerness to learn and adopt to the changing environment.
Experience
 Advanced level understanding and hands-on experience in Windows Server technologies,
Virtualization, Backup technologies, Network, Enterprise Storage and associated hardware platforms.
 Scripting experience on either Linux Shell and command line tools or Windows PowerShell.
 Create and maintain physical/virtual servers, networks, and storage resources.
 Automation of tasks and monitoring of critical systems preferably.
 Address issues related Windows/Linux environment raised by users
 Implement and monitor network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server
performance.
 Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks
(WANs), and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
 Implement data, software and hardware security procedures.
 Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
 Knowledge and Hands on experience on Linux administration
 Basic scripting knowledge using Python/Perl/Shell scripts
 Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
Skills and Qualifications:
 B.E. in computer science or a related discipline.
 Overall Industry experience of 8-12 years
 Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills.
 8-10 years of relevant experience in Windows management and troubleshooting (Windows
certified preferred)
 3 years of pertinent experience in Cisco networking infrastructure with knowledge of working
with switches/routers/firewall
 3 years related experience in virtualization tools like Microsoft Hypervisor/VMware. Experience
on HCI env is preferred.
 Understanding of Protocols such as DNS, DHCP, ICMP, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP, LDAP, SSH, SIP;
 Certifications in Domains Microsoft, ITIL, CCNA etc.
