Creating Visionaries by Candi Garrido, Lucas Momeñe & Almu Casadejust - #BHMA...Brandhome
Brandhome returned to the Miami Ad School to assist the students with one of the most challenging briefings of the entire quarter.
The students were asked to brand and campaign Wharton Business School’s latest book, Beyond Advertising. The book serves as the basis for the new Wharton Future of Advertising Program. Once again we reminded the students that there is nothing as important as a solid strategic foundation for channelling their big future of advertising ideas. The students tackled the briefing with our guidance – involvement is what it’s all about – and came up with some strong creative output.
The document summarizes a student film project titled "POSSESSION" that follows the conventions of a psychological thriller. It discusses how the film opening establishes equilibrium that is disrupted when the main character becomes possessed and intends to kill her lover, mirroring the antagonist/protagonist battle typical of thrillers. References are made to the psychological thriller film Se7en and how it also features this confrontation between protagonist and antagonist after equilibrium is disrupted. The student film further challenges gender stereotypes by having a female protagonist who eventually deteriorates mentally, becoming possessed.
The document discusses conventions used in music magazine layout and design. It provides examples of elements like mastheads, headlines, images, and columns from various magazine pages. Key conventions discussed include bold mastheads in the top left, central artist images, date placement in the top right, and equal columns for article text. Hidden meanings or "ideologies" in images are also examined through their composition and subjects.
The document discusses the aims and planning process for a short film project. The main aims were to create a 2-minute film influenced by a textual analysis of two films and to use stylistic techniques that make the audience feel immersed. The planning included a textual analysis of the two source films to identify codes and conventions, as well as research on other short films for inspiration. Some techniques identified from the analysis that were implemented included establishing shots, high/low key lighting, and on-screen text for context. While equipment limitations and location issues posed some challenges, the film was successful in achieving the aims through techniques like point-of-view shots.
This document contains evaluations from a student of various digital graphic narrative development exercises they completed. For a shape task, the student liked the outline and proportions but would have added a background. On a rotoscoped image, the student liked adding a background and face details but wants to improve colors and textures. For text-based images, the student likes using different techniques but wants to improve colors, spacing, and adding depth. Feedback is provided on idea generation, proposals, storyboards, and scripts for a comic book project.
This document discusses connectors and provides examples of their use. It defines connectors as words that join words or sentences, such as and, but, or, yet, nevertheless, however. Examples are given of connectors joining phrases like "a boy and a girl". The uses of the connectors "and" and "but" are then explained in more detail, with "and" being used for phrases of equal importance and "but" to show contradiction. Sample sentences for each are provided.
Social media literacy for culture & learning presentation for fall cue 2014Michael Niehoff
This document discusses how social media can be used to redesign school culture and learning. It provides examples of how social media can be used for instructional purposes like live streaming classroom content, promoting events and recognizing students. It also addresses issues around connecting with students on social media and whether students should have administrative rights to a school's social media accounts. The document advocates that social media is a new form of literacy and schools should leverage platforms to enhance learning experiences and engage students.

Linee guida per la ricostruzione delle interviste
• Lo studio del fiume attraverso quattro dimensioni
(trasversale, verticale, longitudinale e temporale).
idrici, escavazione); l'approccio ingegneristico a scapito
dell'approccio ecologico. L'impoverimento fisico dell’alveo
(ridotto e canalizzato).
floristiche.
• La scarsa considerazione/integrazione delle risorse
floristiche e faunistiche nella pianificazione territoriale.
Problematiche emerse:
Mancanza dell'acqua in estate; troppi prelievi idrici.
• Abbassamento del livello idrico del fiume.
• Escavazione nell'alveo.
• Inquinamento dell'acqua in determinati luoghi.
• Conoscenza e gestione settoriale e frammentaria del fiume
e delle risorse naturali.
• Occupazione golenale e rischio idrogeologico.
• Assenza di governance a scala di bacino idrografico.
• Sistema ambientale in equilibrio fragile.
• Infrastrutturazione, campagna urbanizzata, consumo del
suolo, perdita di aree umide, impoverimento della
biodiversità ed estinzione di alcune specie.
• Agricoltura invasiva ed impattante.
• Scarsa sensibilizzazione ed educazione in materia di
ambiente fluviale.

11. Il percorso del fiume (progetto 163)
Il torrente di Cardoso … una lunga storia
Ieri, oggi, domani
tutto dipende da noi
12. Che cos’è un torrente
Un torrente è un corso
d‘acqua, che non viene
alimentato da nevai o altre
sorgenti regolari e costanti,
l’alveo a monte è in pendenza
e la portata dell’acqua è
variabile (alterna magre estive
e piene autunnali o primaverili
in concomitanza con i
differenti precipitazioni).
Inoltre, contrariamente ad un
fiume, un torrente può
rimanere secco, privo di
acqua.
Cascata loc. Le fontane
13. I termini geografici
Ruscello: piccolo corso d’acqua all’inizio del
