The document summarizes ISO 9000 quality management standards. ISO 9001 provides requirements for quality management systems to help organizations ensure customer needs are met. Over 1 million organizations are ISO 9001 certified globally. ISO 9000 deals with quality management system fundamentals while ISO 9001 specifies requirements for certification. Certification bodies independently confirm organizations meet ISO 9001 requirements. The standards are criticized by some as not useful for all organizations.
Iso 9000
The ISO 9000 family of quality management systems standards is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service.

What is ISO 9000?
Quality is something every company strives for and is often times very difficult to achieve. Complications concerning efficiency and quality present themselves everyday in business, whether an important document cannot be found or a consumer finds a product not up to their expectations. How can a company increase the quality of its products and services?
(The answer is ISO 9000)
Work of ISO 9000.
ISO 9000 is set up as a collection of guidelines that help a company establish, maintain, and improve a quality management system. It is important to stress that ISO 9000 is not a rigid set of requirements, and that organizations have flexibility in how they implement their quality management system. This freedom allows the ISO 9000 standard to be used in a wide range of organizations, and in businesses large and small.
ISO stands for International Organizational for Standardization. It is an international body which consists of representatives from more than 90 countries. The national standards bodies of these countries are the member of this organization.
BIS(Bureau of Indian Standards) is the Indian representatives to ISO.
ISO and IEC(International Electro Technical Commission) operate jointly as a single.
These are NGO Which exist to provide common standard on international trade of goods and services.
ISO 9000 series has five international standards on quality management which are listed below:
ISO 9000
ISO 9001
ISO 9002
ISO 9003
ISO 9004
QMS Systems offers QMS Consulting Services for manifacturing and
pharma companies that realize it is in their best interest to have quality
management systems in place.

ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to (although this is not a requirement). It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001.
ISO 9001:2015 and how it can bring benefits to organisations in any sector and of any size. We take an overview based on some case studys from ISO.org.
ISO 9000 certification(Quality Management System)Varshid Patel
The ISO 9000 family of international quality management standards and guidelines has earned a global reputation as a basis for establishing effective and efficient quality management systems. The need for International Standards is very important as more organizations operate in the global economy by selling or buying products and services from sources outside their domestic market.
Over the last few years, the ISO-9000 has become the most popular quality standard in the food industry and Pharma industry, with practically all major companies rushing to get ISO-9000-certified. In fact, companies not ISO certified would find it difficult to do business, given that certification is a basic requirement of would-be customers. The ISO-9000 series of standards was developed by the International Organization for Standardization.

A review on techniques and modelling methodologies used for checking electrom...nooriasukmaningtyas
The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.

DEEP LEARNING FOR SMART GRID INTRUSION DETECTION: A HYBRID CNN-LSTM-BASED MODELgerogepatton
As digital technology becomes more deeply embedded in power systems, protecting the communication
networks of Smart Grids (SG) has emerged as a critical concern. Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3)
represents a multi-tiered application layer protocol extensively utilized in Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA)-based smart grids to facilitate real-time data gathering and control functionalities.
Robust Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are necessary for early threat detection and mitigation because
of the interconnection of these networks, which makes them vulnerable to a variety of cyberattacks. To
solve this issue, this paper develops a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model specifically designed for intrusion
detection in smart grids. The proposed approach is a combination of the Convolutional Neural Network
(CNN) and the Long-Short-Term Memory algorithms (LSTM). We employed a recent intrusion detection
dataset (DNP3), which focuses on unauthorized commands and Denial of Service (DoS) cyberattacks, to
train and test our model. The results of our experiments show that our CNN-LSTM method is much better
at finding smart grid intrusions than other deep learning algorithms used for classification. In addition,
our proposed approach improves accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving a high detection
accuracy rate of 99.50%.
2. ISO9000
• The ISO 9000family of quality management
systems standards is designed to help organizations ensure
that they meet the needs of customers and other
stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory
requirements related to a product.
• ISO 9000 deals with the fundamentals of quality
management systems,including the eight management
principles upon which the family of standards is based.
• ISO 9001 deals with the requirements that organizations
wishing to meet the standard must fulfil.

3. ISO9000
• Third-party certification bodies provide independent
confirmation that organizations meet the requirements of
ISO 9001.
• Over one million organizations worldwideare independently
certified, making ISO 9001 one of the most widely used
management tools in the world today.
• Despite widespread use, the ISO certification process has
been criticized as being wasteful and not being useful for all
organizations

4. CONTENTS OFISO9001
• ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems — Requirements is a
document of approximately 30 pages which is available from the national
standards organization in each country.
• It is supplemented by two other standards: ISO 9000:2005 Quality
management systems—Fundamentals and vocabulary and ISO 9004:2009
Managing for the sustained success of an organization—A quality
management approach.
• Only ISO 9001 is directly audited against for third party assessment
purposes.
• The other two standards are supplementary and contain deeper
information on how to sustain and improve quality management systems;
they are therefore not used directly during third party assessment.

10. CERTIFICATION
• ISO does not certify organizations itself.
• Numerous certification bodies exist, which audit organizations and, upon
success, issue ISO 9001 compliance certificates.
• Although commonly referred to as "ISO 9000" certification, the actual
standard to which an organization's quality management system can be
certified is ISO9001:2008.
• Many countries have formed accreditation bodies to authorize ("accredit")
the certificationbodies.
• Both the accreditation bodies and the certification bodies charge fees for
their services.
• An organization applying for ISO 9001 certification is audited based on an
extensive sample of its sites, functions, products, services and processes.
