The Australian Football League (AFL) commissioned ISFM to undertake a facility audit and create a masterplan for AFL facilities in New South Wales. ISFM identified existing facilities, future needs to support growth, and facility standards. They also identified and secured new facilities across the state. As a result, ISFM provided the AFL with a comprehensive market analysis, audit of current and potential facilities, licensing and leasing options, and a long-term facility plan to address the growing sport.

Project Description
Following the completion of the Australian Football
League’s (AFL) strategy report into the development of
the code in the state of NSW, ISFM was commissioned
to undertake a detailed facility audit to:
− Identify and audit of all existing
facilities
− Establish facility needs to support
future growth
− Establish facility standards to meet
needs at various levels of competi-
tion and training
− Identify and secure new facilities
throughout the state
− Establish a program for delivery of
new facilities to meet the AFL’s
state wide development programs
at school, club and association
levels
On completion of the report ISFM was engaged to work
alongside the AFL to deliver facilities in accordance with
the findings of the “NSW Strategic Facility Masterplan”.
