The Melbourne Football Club engaged ISFM to plan the relocation of their football operations from the Melbourne Cricket Ground to the newly developed AAMI Park. ISFM reviewed the club's existing operations and planned the new facilities, focusing on player rehabilitation, injury prevention, and education. The new facilities were completed in 2010 and provided the club with a state-of-the-art, integrated facility to meet their current and future needs.

Client: Melbourne Football Club
Project Description
The Melbourne Football Club engaged ISFM to plan and
coordinate the relocation of the clubs football operations
from the Great Southern Stand of the Melbourne Cricket
Ground (MCG) to the newly developed AAMI Park.
ISFM completed a comprehensive review of the football
club’s existing operations before determining the most
suitable configuration of the clubs new facilities. It was
imperative that the planning for the new facility took into
account new and developing technology to support the
development of its players, particularly in the areas of
player rehabilitation and the of injury prevention.
Attention was also afforded to the development of facili-
ties to support off field activities for players from an
education/learning perspective, and the implementation
of community programs.
The Melbourne Football Club’s new facilities were com-
pleted in late 2010.
