9. SPRINKLER IRRIGATION
• With sprinkler Irrigation system a artificial rain fall is
created.
• Water is led to the field through pressure pipes.
• The spraying is accomplished by several rotating
sprinklers or using a single nozzle.

• Water is led to the field through pipe system.
• On the field, next to the row of plants or tree a tube
is installed.
• A hole or no. of holes are made in tubes at constant
distances.
• The water is supplied slowly to the field through
