2. ESTABLISHMENT
 IRMA was set up in 1979 with a mandate to
professionalize management of rural producers'
organizations
 Within a short time-span IRMA came to be
recognized as a premier centre of teaching and
research in rural management.

3. INFRASTRUCTURE
Campus Location and Facilities
IRMA Anand is situated about 36 kms. north of
Vadodara and 65 kms south of Ahmedabad on the
Mumbai-Ahmedabad main rail line and National
Highway No. 8.
Student Accommodation/Hostal
The PRM is a fully residential programme. There are
nine blocks in the hostel, each with 24 furnished
single rooms.
Library
The present collection includes 42628 books, 417
videocassettes, 40 CD-ROMS, 919 microforms, and
309 Fieldwork reports.

 Post Graduate Programme in Rural
Management
 Fellow Programme in Rural Management
 Certificate in Rural Management
 PGDRM is recognized as equivalent to Master’s
degree in Rural Management by the Association
of Indian Universities (AIU) and is approved by
the All India Council for Technical Education
(AICTE)

5. SELECTION PROCESS
Through CAT exam for Post Graduate Diploma in
Rural Management (PRM) and Fellow
Programme in Rural Management (FPRM).
A graduate from any discipline, having 50 per cent
(45 per cent for SC/ST/dap (differently abled
person)) aggregate marks at the graduation level
can apply for admission.
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for PRM-
Post Graduate Program in Rural Management
Fee Structure- Rs 4,17,700/- for 2 years course
