THE COURSE
• Parallel with MPH course
• In first two-month some lectures will be together with Diploma
in hospital Admin class
• For Hospital management subject – on campus lectures and
hospital visits to nine public hospitals and two private hospitals
since March
• Assignments – presentation/short paper
• Test – one class test and final exam – three-hour assay type
question
• In April - health systems research training, SPSS training and
protocol development (date – before Thingyan, one week)
• Data collection at selected hospitals and analysis, presentation of
findings by students (after Thingyan - one week)
• Continued lectures till end of July
• Revision, private study (10 days) and final exam in August
• Protocol development and protocol defend in September (3 weeks)
• Data collection – 3 weeks (end of September to 2nd week of
October)
• Data analysis, report writing and elective lectures/assignments – 8
weeks
• Last date for thesis submission – end of November
• Thesis defend – in December
