Debbie Springsteen teaches business technology and career development to middle school students in grades 6-7-8. She has 7 years of teaching experience, including 2 years teaching science and social studies. Her professional goals are to earn a Master's degree in teaching and learning with technology and be part of a lifelong learning community. She has noticed in her classroom that when using technology, students are more on task, there are less disruptions, and students are self-directed learners allowing her to help more students individually. When designing technology-based lessons, she considers students' different learning styles and how to address them, as well as the eight principles of multimedia design.
