- 1. JoshuaPhipps Introducing Main Coursework For this piece of coursework, I’m going to produce a Front Cover, Contents page and Double page spread for the first issue of a music magazine. I am going to use software such as Photoshop and InDesign to edit and put it together. I will choose a specific genre and target a particular audience for my magazine to appeal to. All photos I am going to include I will take myself and the locations used will be carefully planned in advance. I must have evidence of the research and planning stages of this task; these will be uploaded onto my blog, which will record the entire process. Task 1: The first task will consist of several questions about music magazines- what they are, what you would find in a conventional magazine and what features they must include. Furthermore I must find examples of magazines and identify who the target audience are, for those chosen pieces. The questions are; 1. What is a music magazine? 2. What content (Text/copy/writing/articles/stories) would you expect to find in a music magazine? 3. What images would you expect to find in a music magazine? 4. Identify general characteristics/features that you would expect to find in all music magazines?
