The document describes the process of designing a magazine cover in Photoshop. The designer cut out a photo, changed the background to black, added a masthead behind the main image and artist names at the top. For the final magazine cover, the designer included a barcode, side headings, and additional photos typical of an R&B magazine. 1. First I got this photo and cut around it using
the photoshop.

2. In this picture I changed the background from standard to black using
a magazine as a cue. Furthermore I put the MASTHEAD behind the
main picture and added different artist at the top.

3. This is the final magazine where I added a barcode and other
pictures and side headings that are used in a typical R&B
magazine such as Vibe.

4. This is my final piece. I changed my model as I found that the photo
before did not match my style (R&B). In this I made my model
brighter to make him stand out and I also got rid of all his spots.
