Intelligent buildings are buildings that through their physical design and IT installations are responsive, flexible and adaptive to changing needs from its users and the organizations that inhabit the building during its life time.
Architects Professional Liability
Whether a small architecture enterprise or a multinational million dollar conglomerate, the work of architects and engineers is constantly under the spotlight. No matter how careful and exact an architect or engineer is, their work is constantly scrutinized by clients, leaving the chance of facing a lawsuit alleging negligence or failure to render professional services. Working in an industry that continues to feel the negative effects of the economy, architects and engineers cannot afford to take this risk - and that is where we can help.
This presentation is an overview of Governments role in propagating the different types of Cost Effective technologies on several Government and local levels through various organisations.

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.

• An Intelligent building is the one which provides a productive
and cost-effective environment through optimization of four
basic elements: structure, systems, services and management,
and the interrelationship between them.
• It is a type of building that uses both technology and process
to create an environment that is safe, healthy, and
comfortable to everyone.
4.
5. Need of Intelligent Building
• Technology is changing how we design and construct buildings
and the building fabrics themselves .
• Intelligent buildings are the new Era in the field of
construction throughout the world.
• It is Environment Friendly.
• It is cost Effective.
• It has many social benefits.
6. Difference between ordinary and
Intelligent building
• Intelligent building: Intelligent building adjusts the inside
functional aspects such as lighting, ventilation, fire-fighting, air-
conditioning, etc. automatically with the changes in environmental
conditions controlled by computer.
• the security system , communication system, etc. are coordinated
and automatically controlled by computer work station.
• Ordinary building: Ordinary building there will be different room
conditions depending on the changes in the environmental
conditions.
• The security system , communication system, etc. are not
coordinated and automatically controlled by computer work
station.
7. Cost Effective Construction
