 It refers to creations coming out from the mind, like for example:
 Inventions
 Literary and artistic Works
 Names
 Images, etc.
 It is generally compromissed by four mainly categories: patent,
copyright, trademark and finally trade secrets
What copyright is…
 Copyright is a legal term describing rights
given to creators for their literary and artistic
Works
 Rights include:
 Right to reproduce the work
 Prepare derivative works
 Distribute certain copies
 Preform the work realized
 And finally display the work in a publicy way
Ethics!!!
 It is a branch of philosophy which seeks to adress question about morality.
 It involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of how
a wrong and right behavior will be
 It is well recognized as moral philosophy too
WIPO
 It is dedicated to developing a balanced and accesible international
intelectual property system
 It works with the united nations agency related to all its themes
 It was founded on 1967 with Francis Gurry as ejecutive director
