To install Comodo Free Internet Security, first uninstall any existing antivirus programs. Download and run the Comodo installer, selecting your language and agreeing to the license terms. The installer will then guide you through selecting installation options and locations before installing and restarting your computer. After restarting, the security software will automatically update its virus database.

After downloading the Comodo Internet Security(CIS) set-up
file from the link, save it in the local hard drive and double-
click on it to start the installation wizard.

3. Step by step Guide for easy installation
Step 1: Select Interface Language
1. 'Select the language' dialog box appears on your screen.
2. Select the preferred language from the drop-
down menu and click Ok.

4. Step 2 : Configuring the Installation
1. The configuration screen appears once the installation
wizard starts.
2. Review and/or modify the dialog settings

5. 3. To receive Comodo notifications and news, enter email
address in the space provided. This is optional.
4. Select all the three options to enable DNS, Cloud Based
Behavioral Analysis, and Browser Homepage settings

6. 5. In the next screen, select first option if you wish to install
'PrivDog' feature
6. Click 'License Agreement' links of both CIS and PrivDog to
read the complete User License Agreement before proceeding
with installation.
7. Click the 'pivacy policy' link found next to PrivDog to read
its private policies.
8. After reading the two agreements, click 'Back' to return the
main installation screen

7. 9. In that click the 'Agree and Install' button to start the
installation

8. 10. If you want to configure advanced options, click
'Customized Installer'

9. 11. Click the 'Installation Options' tab to the choose the
elements you want to be installed.
12. Note that the installation process are version specific and
vary for all the versions

10. Installation of CIS Premium
1. Click the 'Installation Options' tab and select the first option
“Install Comodo Internet Security Pro”. This is mandatory
2. Click the 'Installation Options' tab and select the first and
second options “Install Comodo Antivirus” and “Install
Comodo Firewall.” This is mandatory.
3. If you wish to install Comodo GeekBuddy
and Comodo Dragon Web Browser select the
second and third options. This is optional.

11. 4. Select the only option on the screen
5. Click the 'Files Location' tab next to the 'Configuration
Options', tab to choose the installation path.

12. 6. The default installation path is C:Program
FilesCOMODOCOMODO Internet Security.

13. 7. If you wish to install the software in a different location,
then click the 'Browse' button to select a different location.
8. Click the 'Back' button to go back to the installation screen
9. Click the 'Agree and Install' button to begin the installation

14. Step 3: Installation Progress
1. Installation progress will be displayed on the screen
2. On successful
completion, a dialog box
will appear
3. Click the 'Close'
button

15. Step 4: Restarting the System
1. A 'Restart you System' dialog box will appear on the screen
2. Click 'Yes' button for the installation to take complete effect
3. If you wish to restart your system later,
then click 'No' button
4. Note that the installation will take effect only
when the system is restarted

16. Step 5: After Restarting the System
1. A 'Thank You' screen will appear after restarting
2. If you do not wish the screen to appear on every start up, the
select the 'Do not show this window again' option.
3. Close the window.

17. 4. A 'Network Detected' dialog box appears. You can select
your preferred location from the three options given.

18. 5. The virus database gets automatically updated after
installation

19. 6. The screen will display details such as download speed and
download progress

20. 7. Once the virus database has been downloaded, a 'Complete'
dialog box will appear.
