Intensification of Leadership, Rewards and Recognition through PROJECT SUCCES...YogeshIJTSRD
This paper offers a qualitative quantitative descriptive research design involving the schools in the divisions of Agusan del Sur under Alternative Learning System ALS Accreditation and Equivalent A and E program. An adopted questionnaire from the Blake and Mouton Managerial Grid for Leadership Self Assessment and a validated questionnaire for Recognition and Rewards was utilized. The respondents of this study were the mobile teachers MTs and district ALS coordinators DALCs , the successful ALS AandE passers, and the division ALS supervisors DALSSs . To verify and validate the respondents’ answers, the researcher conducted an FGD to provide evidences of the implementers and to track if there is an improved quality of education through Project SUCCESS. This study concludes that the teacher implementers show a positive indication that the project was intensified and implemented with conscious effort, given the teachers’ understanding of ALS program and competence of how it should be delivered to the learners. Likewise, student learners show a constructive response relative to ALS program. This therefore recommends that education sector can increase the depth and width of the impact assessment of ALS Program under the K to 12 program. Doing so can ensure the quality of the quantity of teachers and students that the education sector is aiming for. Lalaine S. There are still many prevalent problems surrounding the high school curriculum. This can be seen with
many teachers still struggling with students’ retention on subjects being taught, as well as students having
difficulty with test taking. A focal point with the matter is the subjects themselves that are taught, as both teachers
and students complain about how many of the school subjects do not object towards practical skill sets needed
towards real life. In several countries, students are taught subjects related to vocation, career, finances, and even
investment. A main reason as to why these countries suffer less from economic distress, as well as having more
successful outputs for students, is because financial education is well implemented into the high school curriculum.
The purpose for this paper is to show case studies of various countries showing success due to financial education
taught in schools, and to therefore prove the point that financial education is needed all around for the youth.

“Bitcoin Technology” Bitcoin is an innovative technology that offers several benefits, such as fast transaction speeds, low costs, and the elimination of the need for a third-party intermediary to process transactions. Unfortunately, BitCoin has faced resistance from regulators because the technology has been used for nefarious purposes, including online drug purchases and Ponzi schemes. This note provides a basic explanation of how BitCoin works and is currently regulated on federal and state levels. This note argues that BitCoin should not be forced into old regulatory frameworks that do not adequately balance security concerns with the benefits of BitCoin. BitCoin should not be regulated at the federal level. Instead, state regulations should focus on BitCoin providers that can unilaterally transfer or block transfers of BitCoin on behalf of users. State regulators should require such providers to register with their given states, maintain adequate books and records, implement advanced cyber security standards, conduct audits of their operations, and submit reports to state regulators. In crafting these regulations, regulators should keep in mind that vague or poorly drafted regulations will chill innovation. A Bitcoin would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network.
Influence of Conferences and Job Rotation on Job Productivity of Library Staf...Premier Publishers
The general purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of conferences and job rotation on job productivity of library staff in tertiary institutions in Imo State, Nigeria. The survey research design was used for this study using questionnaire as an instrument for data collection. This study covered the entire population of 661. Out of these, 501 copies of the questionnaire representing 75.8% were duly completed and returned for analysis. Student’s t-test was used to analyze the research questions. The finding showed that conferences had no significant influence on the job productivity of library staff in tertiary institutions in Imo State, Nigeria (F cal= 7.86; t-vale =6.177; p >0.005). Finding also showed that job rotation significantly influences job productivity of library staff in tertiary institutions in Imo State, Nigeria (F-cal value= 18.65; t-value = 16.225; P<0.05). This study recommended that, government should ensure that library staff participate in conferences with themes and topics that are relevant to the job they perform and also ensure that there should be proper evaluation and feedback mechanism which aimed to ensuring control and minimize abuse of their development opportunities. Again, there should be written statement of objectives in order to sustain job rotation programmes. Also, that training and development needs of library staff must be identified and analyzed before embarking on job rotation processes as this would help to build skills, competences, specialization and high job productivity.
Organisations both in the private and public sector across the globe rely on their workforce for optimum productivity which will in turn result to organisational efficiency. In this case, the need for ensuring employee job satisfaction becomes a matter of necessity to every organisation. Though, studies have been conducted by various researchers and scholars in this area, there is however the need to conduct more studies on job satisfaction and performance of an employee since the employees are believed to be an indispensable part of an organisation. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and performance of non-academic staff of Bauchi State University Gadau Nigeria (BASUG). Dissatisfaction is believed to be one of the major factors that demotivates and demoralise employee in the workplace which can result to lower productivity thereby affecting the overall performance of the organisation. Consequently an aggregate of two hundred and seventy questionnaires were distributed non- academic staff of BASUG based on systematic random sampling and data collected is analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The outcome of the analysis depicts that there is positive and significant relationship between job satisfactions on the performance of non- academic staff of the University. The study will serve as a policy guide to the management of the Nigerian Universities in areas relating to employee performance improvement through job satisfaction and it will also further make an impetus the field of organisational behaviour and human resource management
Now a days, manufacturing sector recruits & retains multi-generational Workforce which consists of employees from five different generations. It is always a great challenge for organizations to lead a Multi-Generational Workforce (Zero-G – 5G) to achieve their goals & objectives in a competitive era. The growth and development of manufacturing sector depends on the effective management of multi-generational workforce. Manufacturing sector consists of Multi-generational workforce who are different in culture, thought, attitude & perception. It is always a great challenge for the organizations to make goal congruence & bring collaboration among generations. As each generation is unique according to its generational cohort, they act differently on the basis of their ideology & priority. Such organizations face problems while integrating the diversified ideology as senior employees give priority to job security & satisfaction whereas youngsters are satisfied with handsome salary & incentives for which they are ready to change their organizations. Similarly reward & motivational factors make them unique on the basis of their cohort. For example, Traditionalist, the silent generation is motivated by intrinsic reward whereas Baby boomers opt for both challenging task as well as top positions. Similarly, Gen-X prefers balanced work -life whereas Gen-Y, the tech savvy generation is motivated by work from home & knowledge sharing along with dignity. Finally Gen-Z the 5G who are more advanced in technology are motivated by heavy perks & instant rewards. It is an attempt to study & focus on basic factors influencing multi-generational workforce in manufacturing sector - what challenges manufacturing sector is facing while dealing with multi-generational workforce & strategies with the help of which the workforce will attain its goals & gain competitive advantage.
Government Intervention, Subjective Norms and the Entrepreneurial Intentions ...ijtsrd
The economic situation presently in Nigeria is such that there is massive youth unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria. The situation as a result has made it difficult to access assistance from family and friends. The main objective of this paper was the investigation of the effect of government interventions and subjective norms on the entrepreneurial intentions of graduates of Nigeria Universities. A sequential mixed research design was adopted. A structured questionnaire was used to elicit responses from graduates of two universities located in Anambra State, Nigeria. A census of the 391 graduates was conducted. Interviews were conducted using ten selected purposively graduates from the sample. Statistical Package for Social Sciences was used to carry out moderated and mediated regression analyses. The data collected were analysed to enable the assessment of the impact of government intervention and subjective norm predictor on entrepreneurial intention dependent variable . The results showed significant mediated and moderated relationships which implied that government intervention explained the relationship between this predictor and subjective norm, and the entrepreneurial intention. It was the finding of the study that there is a need for government to urgently ensure a conducive environment that provides the improvement of the economic situation, thereby generally giving hope to the youths and enabling family and friends to be able to encourage, advise, and give financial support to the graduates. Government should be sincere and equitable in the distribution of intervention programmes targeting youths and the graduates and should guarantee equity in the implementation of government programmes. FAMILY FINANCIAL STATUS AND STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION: THE MEDIATOR...IAEME Publication
The paper investigated whether entrepreneurship education mediates the
relationship between students’ family financial status income and their
entrepreneurial intentions or not. Family financial status is defined in this study in
terms of parent’s annual income. Questionnaire was employed to collect data from a
total sample of 320 final year under graduate students of higher education institutions
in Northern Nigeria. The students were selected by using multi-stage stratified random
sampling technique. Mediation analysis using PROCESS MACRO was employed and
bootstrapping technique was used to test the hypothesis of the study. The result
indicates that Family Financial Status (FFS) is indirectly related to students’
Entrepreneurial Intentions (EI) through its relationship with Entrepreneurship
Education (EE). First, the result showed that Family Financial Status had significant
effect on Entrepreneurship Education, and the observed effect on Entrepreneurship
Education was subsequently related to higher Entrepreneurial Intention. The
bootstrap samples indicated that the indirect effect of Family Financial Status on
students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions through Entrepreneurship Education was
completely above zero, which led us to conclude that Entrepreneurship Education
mediates the relationship between Family Financial Status and Student’
Entrepreneurial Intentions. The study recommends that entrepreneurship education
should be encouraged as it proves to be a powerful stimulant for promoting
entrepreneurship intention among students

Introduction
Balancing work and family life in the fast-paced 21st Century can be a herculean task for people on the move and on an upward career trend. While technology has made it possible to engage in social activities through virtual channels, such as social media on the internet, the human element is lost in the use of technology for family and other social activities. Although the monetary benefits of working long hours are apparent, balancing work and family life is important for both organizations and individuals. Such balancing can lead to feelings of well-being for employees, which consequently will lead to more productivity within organizations. Smart organizations therefore tend to engage in practices that create the potential for employees to have a family life as well as a work life. Thesis Statement
Therefore, organizational practices and policies, specifically those targeting the female employees, are independent determinants of how well employees are able to balance their work and family life.Body Paragraph #1
Supporting Evidence
Research on balancing work and family life presents descriptions of a good job, which would create the most suitable conditions for the employee to balance their work and family life. Rafnsdóttir and Heijstra (2013), state that flexibility and autonomy are important features of an organization that provides a suitable climate for employees to balance their work and family life. In a flexible organization, the employee determines when he will work and has the autonomy to organize his work schedule without the constraints of a fixed work schedule. In addition, organizations that include telecommuting, which is working at home through the internet or telephone, generally have better performance outcomes because of the reduced stress because of the autonomy and flexibility allowed by the organization Rafnsdóttir and Heijstra (2013).
Supporting Evidence
Other researchers, Burgess and Waterhouse (2010) point out that organizational policies and practices that offer informal or unofficial working hours generally tend to have better work-life balance outcomes for employees. In a study cited by the researchers on call centers, call centers that offer informal working hours are better able to help their employees balance their work and family life. However, the unofficial working hours should provide opportunities for socialization rather than cause “the detrimental effects of unsociable hours’ (Burgess and Waterhouse, 2010).
Explanation
From the research evaluated, it appears that organizational practices relating to time or working hours have a significant and independent impact on the ability of employees to balance their work ...

Working Father and their perceived Work – Life Balance with special reference...Arul Edison
Due to the continuous work load pressure leads to increase the employee stress factors. The continuous increase of employee stress levels affects their health physically, mentally and psychologically. The impact of the job stress is not balancing the employee work – life. On behalf of! The stress most of the employees are consuming the alcoholic beverage to overcome the stress. By comparing life as a cycle, one wheel is a work and another wheel is a family life. Both the wheel should run parallel. If load increases on one side, then the life becomes unbalanced. The purpose of this study is to explore employees “use of tactics to manage their work and life stress; particularly the executive level employees” use of resources and social support as well as their perceptions of flexibility. For this research work researcher adopt Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling method to collect the data. A total of 184 executive level employees in Hyundai Motors India Limited were administered work life balancing scales. Chi – square analysis and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The chi – square analysis test for independence at 0.05 level of significance shows that there is no statistically significant association between experiences with their feeling about balancing work life. The result of regression analysis indicated that there is no statistically significant difference between participants opinion towards the initiative action taken by the organization to manage their employee work life balance. On the basis of these findings, found that the participants are says that they are balancing their career and life style with the support of family members.

Standardization and Formulations of Calotropis ProceraYogeshIJTSRD
Plants growing in arid regions have elicited increased attention, because the hostile environment, in which these plants survive, forces them to develop chemical protective systems through adaptation which is rarely found in vegetation of other ecosystems. Furthermore, many of the plants grow in areas, where the dependence on traditional, plant based medicines over industrially produced pharmaceuticals persists to this day. The two plants, Calotopris Procera giant milkweed, also named C. Persica and Calotropis gigantea crown ower , have been used widely in traditional medicine in North Africa, the Middle East, and South and South East Asia. This has led to extensive research on the chemical constituents of the plants. Both plants are known to be sources of cardenolides, and newer research has yielded a number of interesting cancer active constituents. In addition, extracts of both plants have remarkable nematocidal, molluscidal and insecticidal activities. In many regions, the wood of Calotropis plants has been used as a building material and as a source of fuel. In addition, certain parts of the plants have been used as feed for livestock. In other regions, Calotropis plants are seen as invasive species that threaten local plant life and that due to their toxicity also pose a threat to grazing eld animals. Review of the Diagnosis and Treatment of ParalysisYogeshIJTSRD
Paralysis is a complete loss of motor power in any muscle group. When paralysis affects all four extremities, it is called quadriplegia when it affects only the lower extremities, paraplegia and when it affects the extremities on one side of the body, hemiplegic. For this reason, the term paralysis is generally reserved for more focal, less stereotyped weakness, for instance, affecting all the muscles innervated by a peripheral nerve. Many different anatomical lesions and etiologies can cause paralysis and determine its treatment. Bikash Debsingha | Dr. Gourav Kr. Automatic Query Expansion Using Word Embedding Based on Fuzzy Graph Connectiv...YogeshIJTSRD
The aim of information retrieval systems is to retrieve relevant information according to the query provided. The queries are often vague and uncertain. Thus, to improve the system, we propose an Automatic Query Expansion technique, to expand the query by adding new terms to the user s initial query so as to minimize query mismatch and thereby improving retrieval performance. Most of the existing techniques for expanding queries do not take into account the degree of semantic relationship among words. In this paper, the query is expanded by exploring terms which are semantically similar to the initial query terms as well as considering the degree of relationship, that is, “fuzzy membership- between them. The terms which seemed most relevant are used in expanded query and improve the information retrieval process. The experiments conducted on the queries set show that the proposed Automatic query expansion approach gave a higher precision, recall, and F measure then non fuzzy edge weights. A New Proposal for Smartphone Based Drowsiness Detection and Warning System f...YogeshIJTSRD
This paper proposes a Smartphone based system for the detection of drowsiness in automotive drivers. The proposed system uses three stage drowsiness detection technique. The first stage uses the percentage of eyelid closure PERCLOS which is obtained by capturing images with the front camera of the Smartphone with a modified eye state classification method. The system uses near infrared lighting for illuminating the face of the driver during night driving. The second step uses the voiced to the unvoiced ratio VUR obtained from the speech data from the microphone, in the event PERCLOS crosses the threshold. The VUR is also compared with a threshold and if it is a value greater than that of the threshold, it moves on to the next verification stage. In the final verification stage, touch response is required within the stipulated time to declare whether the driver is drowsy or not and subsequently sound an alarm. To awake the driver, a vibrating mechanism is done and also the live GPS location is also sent to an emergency contact. We have studied eight other reference papers for the literature review. The system has three advantages over existing drowsiness detection systems. First, the three stage verification process makes the system more reliable. The second advantage is its implementation on an Android smart phone, which is readily available to most drivers or cab owners as compared to other general purpose embedded platforms. The third advantage is the use of SMS service to inform the control room as well as the passenger regarding the loss of attention of the driver. Data Security by AES Advanced Encryption StandardYogeshIJTSRD
Now a days with the rapid development of multimedia technologies, research on safety and security are becoming more important. Multimedia data are generated and transmitted through the communication channels and the wireless media. The efficiencies of encryption based on different existing algorithms are not up to the satisfactory limit. Hence researchers are trying to modify the existing algorithm or even develop new algorithms that help to increase security with a little encryption time. Here in this paper, we have furnished a new technology to modify the AES algorithm which gives more security with a little encryption time and which can be used to encrypt using 128 bit key. Theoretical analysis on the proposed algorithm with the existing reveals the novelty of our work. Here we have proposed a technique to randomize the key and hidden the key data into an encrypted digital image using the basics concept of cryptography and also using the concept of digital watermarking, the concept of key hide has also been encrypted. We have also proposed a new technique to reposition the pixels to break the correlation between them. So, the proposed scheme offers a more secure and cost effective mechanism for encryption. Next on the AES criteria list good performance. Widespread market adoption will require reasonably good performance on a variety of platforms, ranging from easy tocrack smart cards to the largest servers. Good algorithm performance includes speed for the encryption and decryption process as well as the key schedule. Security Sector Reform toward Professionalism of Military and PoliceYogeshIJTSRD
The need to understand and at the same time give prescriptions for the direction of security reform in Third world countries after the end of World War II has prompted the emergence of a big project called the study of security reform SSR . Within this framework emerge various theories and strategies for security reform, with various variations, including ideological variations that underlie these theories. The reform of the structural aspect is a reform of the institutional and structure of an institution, the instrumental reform includes the reform of the system, laws and regulations, while the reform of the cultural aspect is a reform of the habits or organizational culture in institutions in general and in particular the Timor Leste’s security institutions, both military and police. Comparative Studies of Diabetes in Adult Nigerians Lipid Profile and Antioxid...YogeshIJTSRD
The study sought to determine the extent to which the usage of social media in the marketing of agricultural products in South West Nigeria can enhance farmers turnover. It employed the survey research design to collect data with the help of a structured questionnaire to elicit information from respondents selected from six 6 south western states. Research data were analysed using structural equation modelling. The results showed that the use of social media WhatsApp and Facebook in marketing of agricultural products significantly enhances farmers turnover. The managerial implication is that use of Whatsapp and Facebook in the marketing of agricultural products for the enhancement of farmers’ turnover was found to have significant influence on the enhancement in farmers’ turnover from agricultural products. Policy makers in government should provide the enabling environment for the telecommunication companies to enhance their reach by installing their facilities across the length and breadth of the country so that the network coverage will be strong at all times so that the benefits of social media usage will not be constrained. Comparative Analysis of Different Numerical Methods for the Solution of Initi...YogeshIJTSRD
A mathematical equation which involves a function and its derivatives is called a differential equation. We consider a real life situation, from this form a mathematical model, solve that model using some mathematical concepts and take interpretation of solution. It is a well known and popular concept in mathematics because of its massive application in real world problems. Differential equations are one of the most important mathematical tools used in modeling problems in Physics, Biology, Economics, Chemistry, Engineering and medical Sciences. Differential equation can describe many situations viz exponential growth and de cay, the population growth of species, the change in investment return over time. We can solve differential equations using classical as well as numerical methods, In this paper we compare numerical methods of solving initial valued first order ordinary differential equations namely Euler method, Improved Euler method, Runge Kutta method and their accuracy level. Evaluation of Different Paving Mixes Using Optimum Stabilizing ContentYogeshIJTSRD
Bituminous mixes are most commonly used all over the world in flexible pavement construction. It consists of asphalt or bitumen used as a binder and mineral aggregate which are mixed together, laid down in layers and then compacted. Under normal circumstances, conventional bituminous pavements if designed and executed properly perform quite satisfactorily but the performance of bituminous mixes is very poor under various situations. Today’s asphaltic concrete pavements are expected to perform better as they are experiencing increased volume of traffic, increased loads and increased variations in daily or seasonal temperature over what has been experienced in the past. In addition, the performance of bituminous pavements is found to be very poor in moisture induced situations. Considering this a lot of work has been done on use of additives in bituminous mixtures and as well as on modification of bitumen. Research has indicated that the addition of polymers to asphalt binders helps to increase the interfacial cohesiveness of the bond between the aggregate and the binder which can enhance many properties of the asphalt pavements to help meet these increased demands. However, the additive that is to be used for modification of mix or binder should satisfy both the strength requirements as well as economical aspects. 2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Hence, it is a need of the situation of the working
mothers to maintain a balance between professional
and personal life.
1.1 Work-Family Conflict – A literature
Review
The researcher has gone through previous studies of
the subject matter before resuming the objectives and
was presented as the literature review. Many
researchers and theories focused on the work family
conflicts. The influence of work-family conflict on
organisational and personal well-being has been
explored in the literature (Ford et al., 2007; Kossek &
Ozeki, 1998). As a result of the productive family
patterns, Adult human lives have been directed to
fulfil the two most essential responsibilities, namely
work and family roles. The men and women have to
perform dual roles as workers and as familymembers
(Karimi et al., 2012). Each of these categories has its
own set of roles and responsibilities. The literature
shows that these work and family roles interact in a
variety of ways (Zhou et al., 2020).
Work-family conflict is a psychological condition
characterised by an imbalance of work and home life.
Job burnout, dissatisfaction, work stress, long
working hours, and role conflict are the most
significant factors that lead to work-family conflict.
(Bakker et al., 2005; Ford et al., 2007; Kossek &
Ozeki, 1998; Spector et al., 2004). Workplace
challenges such as job pressure and stressful events
(Cartwright & Pappas, 2008) may physically and
emotionally exhaust an individual to the point that
work-family conflict arises (Baeriswyl et al., 2016;
Frone et al., 1997).
The two-way model of work-family conflict
demonstrates that workplace stress fctors such as a
lack of autonomy or an excessive workload affect the
“work” side of the balance, whereas family stress
factors such as misbehaving kids or excessively
dependent parents harm the “family” side (Liu et al.,
2019). Work/family conflict is bidirectional, which
means that work roles can clash with roles and
obligations in the family domain, and family roles can
conflict with work roles. The bidirectionality of
work/family conflict is supported by research, which
also suggests that work-to-familyand family-to-work
conflict may have different origins and outcomes
(Mesmer-Magnus & Viswesvaran, 2005).
In a person's life, work and family are two crucial
domains. Both home and work duties have a direct
impact on each other (Patel et al., 2006; Sánchez-
Vidal et al., 2019). The study of the negative effects
of work-family conflict has received a significant
amount of organisational attention. (Turan et al.,
2021) The study's primary goal is to look at the role
of burnout in the influence of work-family conflicts
(WFC) on job satisfaction among important
participants in the maritime sector. According to the
findings, Burnout has a minor mediation impact on
work satisfaction, (Sprung, 2021) to fill a gap in the
research by looking at personal and global economic
stress as predictors of familydistress and work-family
conflict in a population of farm spouses. Examining
the work-family interface of farm couples, economic
stress is an essential factor. Furthermore, family
distress and work-family conflict were more affected
by personal economic stress than global economic
stress. By gaining a deeper knowledge of the familial
mechanisms through which farm spouses may be
affected by economic stress.
2.0 Statement of the problem
In families and workplaces, women play a significant
role. Women are deeply entrenched in their social life
in the role of homemakers and caretakers. In the
modern era, women's lives are now changing and the
life of working mothers are highly stressful. Working
women occupy a space equivalent to males and are
becoming more aspiring and professional. Other
elements of their life are being ignored by working
women and losing quality time with their children and
families, relaxation time, and also time for their
hobbies. Working mothers are more stressed than
males as they have to work from early morning to late
night to satisfy the daily requirements of their family
members. For women employees, work occupies an
important place in their lives, the status of quality of
work life affects not only their physical but also
social, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing.
For more than five decades, substantial study has
been conducted on the work-family conflict of
employees in many areas. however, little attention has
been paid to the occupation perspective on work-
family conflict. Since employees of different
occupation status vary in conflict between work and
family matters. The factors which are associated with
high or expected levels of work-family conflict for
private employee perhaps may or may not be the
same for public employees. Therefore, The present
study was designed as an investigation of the
relationship between family-work conflict and
occupation status of working mothers
3.0 Research Objectives and Hypothesis
This study is focused on investigating the work-
family conflicts and the nature of these conflicts

Following research questions guided this study.
1. What is the nature of work-family conflicts
among working mothers?
2. Does occupation status of the working mothers
is really a matter in work-family conflict ?
In alignment with research questions, the primary
objectives of the present study are
1. To measure the degree of work-family conflict
among women employees
2. To determine the significant difference in work-
family conflict across different occupation status
of working women
The following hypothesis has been formulated in
accordance with the objectives of the study.
H0: The degree of work-family conflict has no
differences across the occupation status of working
mothers
4.0 Research methodology
The purpose of the study is to examine the
relationship between work-family conflict and
occupation status of working mothers. For this, a
descriptive research approach was used. The study
was conducted on a sample 210 of full-time working
mothers in north Kerala. The data was collected
through a structured questionnaire. This questionnaire
was initially developed by (Erdamar & Demirel,
2014). There were two components to this
questionnaire. The purpose of the first section of the
questionnaire was to collect demographic information
from the participants. The second section of the
questionnaire consists of ten items that are rated on a
five-point scale in order to obtain information about
work-family conflict.
The respondents were selected randomly from the
north Kerala region. The questionnaire was
distributed to 241 working mothers, who were
available on days of data collection. Of these 241
teachers, 210 returned their questionnaires. So the
return response rate of the tool was 87%. As a result,
all these 210 working mothers in north Kerala were
taken as a sample for this study.
Advanced decisions were made when formulating
objectives, designing method, selecting the sample for
data collection. Data analysis and reporting were
planned with expertise's approval and data analysis
was done using the SPSS, the relevant statistic tools
such as ANOVA, Post hoc analysis were used.
5.0 Results and discussion
This study included two stages in its data analysis
procedure. A descriptive analysis describing the
nature of work-family conflicts as perceived by
working mothers in the first step. The second stage
included hypothesis testing with ANOVA.
The Nature of Work-Family Conflicts as Perceived by Working Mothers
The results of the nature of the work-family conflicts as perceived by working mothers are presented in Table 1.

A requirement for the ANOVA test is that the variances of each comparison group are equal. This is tested using
the Levene statistic and the result is presented in table 2. The significance value of the Levene statistic based on
a comparison of medians is .208 which is greater than .05. This is not a significant result, which means the
requirement of homogeneity of variance has been met, and the ANOVA test can be considered to be robust.

6.0 Conclusion
The following main conclusions were derived from
the findings in answer to the study questions. First, it
was discovered that working mothers believe that
their workplace tasks cause conflicts or obstacles in
their family roles. This study has been piloted to
quantify the work-family conflict of working mothers
in the current era to determine the significant
difference in work-family conflict across the
occupation status of working mothers. The sample
survey has revealed that there is a significant
difference in work-family conflict across the
occupation status of working mothers. The study also
reveals that working mothers in private sector have a
higher work-family conflict than others. This result
confirms previous research findings, where the
occupation status had a significant influence on
occupation status of working mothers
