Abstract- This study aims to determine and classify the barriers experienced by students to start entrepreneurship. This type of research is exploratory. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling with a total sample of 262 people. The Data analysis technique used is Factor Analysis. The collected data is processed statistically using SPSS version 24.0. The result of the research shows that there are seven new factors that can hamper the students to start the business, first the basic ability of entrepreneurship, the two factors of striving, the three factors of future uncertainty, the four factors of courage, the five resource factors, the six risk factors, the seven information factors.

This study aimed to identify factors involved in developing Entrepreneur school and understanding the Executive requirements of these schools in Educational system of Iran (Case Study of MAZANDARAN province). Relying on the theory of organizational entrepreneurship and data based theory (Grounded Theory) the factors effective in creating a school for entrepreneurs were identified. The population of the study in Interview section was 20 experts in the Field of educational sciences from the University of Educators, entrepreneurship teachers and school administrators and for qualitative validation were 20 faculty members of University of Educators and school administrators. The research tools were open interview and content analysis techniques .The research findings indicate that the two groups factors of inside and outside organization and 3 dimensions of personal, organizational and environmental abilities and 16 components of Features (psychological , attitude, motivational), management style, organizational ,Mental and interpersonal skills, new methods of reward, management support, Delegate, deadline, curricula system , strategic orientation, entrepreneurial culture, entrepreneurship education, space and equipments, government policies, socio-economic and cultural conditions, financial and non-financial support are effective in building this kind of entrepreneur school. Also the results of qualitative validation or questionnaire distribution in the first step have resulted to the Removal of the concepts of parental education; parental social status and evaluation system due to an average of less than 4.In the implementation of the second round questionnaire, Kendal correlation coefficient was calculated and Kendall's w = 0.705 was obtained, suggesting a strong consensus among panel members in the research.

The paper investigated whether entrepreneurship education mediates the
relationship between students’ family financial status income and their
entrepreneurial intentions or not. Family financial status is defined in this study in
terms of parent’s annual income. Questionnaire was employed to collect data from a
total sample of 320 final year under graduate students of higher education institutions
in Northern Nigeria. The students were selected by using multi-stage stratified random
sampling technique. Mediation analysis using PROCESS MACRO was employed and
bootstrapping technique was used to test the hypothesis of the study. The result
indicates that Family Financial Status (FFS) is indirectly related to students’
Entrepreneurial Intentions (EI) through its relationship with Entrepreneurship
Education (EE). First, the result showed that Family Financial Status had significant
effect on Entrepreneurship Education, and the observed effect on Entrepreneurship
Education was subsequently related to higher Entrepreneurial Intention. The
bootstrap samples indicated that the indirect effect of Family Financial Status on
students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions through Entrepreneurship Education was
completely above zero, which led us to conclude that Entrepreneurship Education
mediates the relationship between Family Financial Status and Student’
Entrepreneurial Intentions. The study recommends that entrepreneurship education
should be encouraged as it proves to be a powerful stimulant for promoting
entrepreneurship intention among students

However, entrepreneurial determination differed significantly between genders among Malaysian students, with male students showing higher levels, though this difference was not observed among Indonesian students. The study aimed to understand levels of entrepreneurial determination and differences based on country and personal demographics, in order to help foster entrepreneurship among youth in Malaysia and Indonesia.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of students from high school, who are the current generation Z, about the accounting profession. This study uses questionnaires that are shared online with data processing using factor analysis and one way ANOVA different tests. The comparison test was done between indicators of grade, major, school type, as well as variables, which include structure, precision, solitary, interest, and remaining variables. The interest in the accounting profession is found in social students (from high schools) and business administration students (from vocational schools). Other results also show that students in Private Vocational and Public High Schools have the most significant potential to be interested in the accounting profession. This research is limited to different test methods. Future studies can conduct a causal analysis of the factors that influence the choice of students in choosing the accounting profession. This research contributes to the investigation of students' perceptions of the accounting profession, which was conducted for the first time in Indonesia, especially in secondary schools in East Java.
The previous research result showed that the learning model based on the investigation could increase the students’ critical thinking skills. The aim of this research was to measure the effectiveness of the using of problem-based learning model to increase the students’ critical thinking skills. The research design was quasi-experiment by using post-test only design. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of science which contained 124 students of SMAN 6 and SMAN 7 Kupang that were chosen randomly. The treatment that was given in this research was problem-based learning model for the experiment class and conventional model for the control class whereas the given materials were the reaction rate. The instrument that was used in this research previously validated by two experts of theory and material. The result of this research showed that the students who studied in experiment class had different critical thinking skills better that the students who studied using conventional model.
This study is aiming to investigate influencing factor of entrepreneurship collaborative learning performances by using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling approach (PLS-SEM). A hypothetical conceptual model for improving entrepreneurship learning performance develop based on the previous study, which composed of four enablers called university’s vision and mission, entrepreneurial background lecturer, strong culture and rewards system.The methodology used to test the conceptual model was delivering the questionnaire survey to 72 (seventy two) lecturers in business field. The unit analysis of this study is the universities, both public and private universities in South of Tangerang. Sample was selected using simple random sampling. The questionnaires were developed from the past studies in similar area of entrepreneurship in higher education, before distributed to the respondents. The findings from this study provide insight to construction that the relationships of variable vision and mission to effectiveness have path coefficient value 0.195 and the lecture background is 0.040. Meanwhile, reward and culture shows stronger influence to Entrepreneurship collaborative Learning Effectiveness with the patch coefficient values are 0.296 and 0.335.

Indonesia faces major problems related to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit of the young people. To Strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness at the global level, the strengthening of the entrepreneurial movement should be as the main agenda and to be done consistently. The majority of the Indonesian population is the group of young people. So, a systematic effort to foster an interest in entrepreneurship of a young people is required. This study examines various variables triggering the growing of entrepreneurship intention of the young entrepreneurs in East Java. This study found that family support is a major factor for strengthening the young entrepreneurs' intention in entrepreneurship. The study also showed that entrepreneurship education and social environmental support as an initial trigger which influence the growth of entrepreneurial intention of young entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship education will influence the personality of the young entrepreneurs, while the environmental support will influence the entrepreneurial attitude of the young entrepreneurs. Furthermore, personality and entrepreneurial attitude will influence the growth of entrepreneurial intention. Based on this study, it is suggested that entrepreneurship education needs to be done earlier, ranging from primary education to the higher education. Furthermore, there should be further studies, specifically intended to strengthen entrepreneurship education and strengthen the role of the environment to foster entrepreneurship intention.
This document examines factors that influence polytechnic students' decisions to graduate as entrepreneurs in Ghana. A survey of 250 students at Kumasi Polytechnic was conducted. The results from a probit model analysis show that personality factors, family and friend support, parental occupation, entrepreneurship education, gender, and access to finance positively influence students' decisions to become entrepreneurs, while concerns about public remarks negatively influence decisions. Only 36.8% of surveyed students expressed an interest in becoming entrepreneurs. The study aims to help address graduate unemployment in Ghana by better understanding what promotes graduate entrepreneurship.

Introduction Migration is a well known phenomenon of movement of peoples from one place to another, in India migration of people occurs on a large scale, and there are various reasons of migration, education being one of them, migration of young students for education is increasing day by day as the world class education facilities are reaching in all countries in times of globalisation. Internal migration is least focused in previous literature and neglected in association with education. In the present study, the social and political exclusion faced by young migrants is also explained. Objective the objectives of the present study were to find out the reasons for the migration of youth to Delhi NCR and to study the problems and social exclusion faced by them after migrating. Methodology The present study is a cross sectional study conducted among 150 young adults, migrated students residing in Delhi NCR data was collected through structured questionnaires. Results the major findings of the present study are that young students migrate to urban locations like NCR for reasons such as unavailability of courses and in search of better campuses and opportunities. As many as 33.33 of total students migrated from Uttar Pradesh, and 68.7 of total students who migrated to Delhi NCR for educational purposes does not go back for voting in the last elections to their home constituency. Other than this political exclusion, many students also reported discrimination based on caste, race, gender, colour, and ethnicity. Conclusion The government should re examine the migration policies of our country and try to connect with the booming young population, and implement already existing policies widely for the development of youth. The government and educational institutions also require urgent interventions regarding the exclusion of migrated young students and their mental health. Job Satisfaction and Faculty Turnover Intentions: A Case of Pakistani Univers...IOSRJBM
Retaining faculty members has been a problem in many universities for decades. When competent teachers quit, they depart with critical knowledge and experience that are essential for maintaininga competitive advantage. The aim of this study was to measure the impact of four facets of job satisfaction on turnover intentions of faculty members of different universities of Rawalpindi/Islamabad. A 16-item, selfadministered questionnaire was used to gather data on independent and dependent variables. In questionnaire, researchers used 5 point Likert scale for variables to measure respondent’s possible responses. 110 questionnaires were completed and returned back. Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression tests were used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the three facets of job satisfaction i.e. remuneration, supervisory support and work life policies have significant and negative relationship with turnover intentions while recognition has insignificant relationship with turnover intentions and this relationship did not support the researchers’ prediction. Results have been discussed andrecommendations have been made for universities’ administrations.

In response to the policy of Ministry of Education, colleges in China revised their undergraduate degree curriculum to include entrepreneurship education. We conducted a research on 318 undergraduate students from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to study the impact of seminar-based and traditional entrepreneurship education pedagogy on college student entrepreneurial intention, by hierarchical regression analysis. In addition, the article researched the moderation effect caused by the different education pedagogy on ‘entrepreneurial attitude affects entrepreneurial intention’ and ‘entrepreneurial confidence affects entrepreneurial intention’ by introducing the segmentation variables of entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial confidence to the model. The findings of this research have important empirical implications toward future college education reformation.

Abstract: The study aimed at analyzing the factors influencing non-teaching employees’ performance in Kitale National Polytechnic. Non-teaching employees play a significant role in achieving the goals of an institution. The study was guided by the following research objectives: -to examine the effect of training on non-teaching employee’s performance at Kitale National Polytechnic, to analyze the effect of organization culture on non-teaching employee’s performance at Kitale National Polytechnic, to determine the effect of working environment on non-teaching employee’s performance at Kitale National Polytechnic and to evaluate the effect of motivation on non-teaching employee’s performance at Kitale National Polytechnic. The study was conducted through a descriptive research design. Sixty one non-teaching employees of Kitale National Polytechnic were the target population. The whole population formed the sample size. A questionnaire was the main tool for primary data collection. Descriptive and inferential statistics and regression analysis were used in interpreting the collected data. The study will be able to answer the hurdles that non-teaching employees face while performing their tasks. The findings established in this study will create a path to improved performance of non-teaching employees not only in Kitale National Polytechnic but all the national polytechnics in Kenya.

Working mothers provide a remarkable contribution to the development of our countrys economy. There are many changes in womens lives in the modern era. the present life of Working mothers is extremely challenging. The work family conflict has now evolved as an essential and universal problem for working mothers in todays world. This study set out to research significant differences in work family conflict across the occupation status of working mothers. The sample comprises 210 working mothers from the north Kerala region. Data was collected through a field survey by using a structured questionnaire. Collected data has been analyzed by using various statistical tools like one way ANOVA and Bonferroni Post hoc test. The research has revealed that the occupation status of working mothers had a significant difference in work family conflict. The Research also revealed that the working mothers in the private sector have a greater work family conflict than others. This result validates earlier research findings, where the occupation status had a significant influence on work family conflict among working mothers. Research data analysis using SPSS. The results of this study are: new admissions system at the level of SMA/MAin the city of Medan done through the national exam results and a test track. Readiness of students in national exams conducted by the students tend to choose a tutoring to prepare for the National Exam. Apart from that, tutoring is also the place for high school students to learn in preparation for the National Examination, and there is a strong relationship between the results of national examinations in SMP/MTs with academic achievement in SMA/ MA. This indicates that the national exam results can be an indicator for the success of students in further education.

In this respect, higher education institutions are expected to create a great number of entrepreneurs. One of the core components in a higher education activity is a course. Thus, a course should be better designed in such a way that can raise student’s motivation to get involved in entrepreneurial activities. This paper describes the application of an entrepreneurship-based course design in Human Resource Planning and Development (HRPD) course during the even semester of academic year 2014/2015 at Narotama University Surabaya. The most important part of that design is the main assignment that instructs the students to establish their own small business plans which cover vision, mission, and strategy for at least the next five years. After that, they must establish a detailed enough plan to conduct various human resource management activities directed to get qualified employees who can support the business in implementing its strategy. Finally, this paper also discusses the effectiveness of the HRPD course design in enhancing the students’ entrepreneurial motivation.

Indonesia faces major problems related to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit of the young people. To Strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness at the global level, the strengthening of the entrepreneurial movement should be as the main agenda and to be done consistently. The majority of the Indonesian population is the group of young people. So, a systematic effort to foster an interest in entrepreneurship of a young people is required. This study examines various variables triggering the growing of entrepreneurship intention of the young entrepreneurs in East Java. This study found that family support is a major factor for strengthening the young entrepreneurs' intention in entrepreneurship. The study also showed that entrepreneurship education and social environmental support as an initial trigger which influence the growth of entrepreneurial intention of young entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship education will influence the personality of the young entrepreneurs, while the environmental support will influence the entrepreneurial attitude of the young entrepreneurs. Furthermore, personality and entrepreneurial attitude will influence the growth of entrepreneurial intention. Based on this study, it is suggested that entrepreneurship education needs to be done earlier, ranging from primary education to the higher education. Furthermore, there should be further studies, specifically intended to strengthen entrepreneurship education and strengthen the role of the environment to foster entrepreneurship intention.
This document examines factors that influence polytechnic students' decisions to graduate as entrepreneurs in Ghana. A survey of 250 students at Kumasi Polytechnic was conducted. The results from a probit model analysis show that personality factors, family and friend support, parental occupation, entrepreneurship education, gender, and access to finance positively influence students' decisions to become entrepreneurs, while concerns about public remarks negatively influence decisions. Only 36.8% of surveyed students expressed an interest in becoming entrepreneurs. The study aims to help address graduate unemployment in Ghana by better understanding what promotes graduate entrepreneurship.

Introduction Migration is a well known phenomenon of movement of peoples from one place to another, in India migration of people occurs on a large scale, and there are various reasons of migration, education being one of them, migration of young students for education is increasing day by day as the world class education facilities are reaching in all countries in times of globalisation. Internal migration is least focused in previous literature and neglected in association with education. In the present study, the social and political exclusion faced by young migrants is also explained. Objective the objectives of the present study were to find out the reasons for the migration of youth to Delhi NCR and to study the problems and social exclusion faced by them after migrating. Methodology The present study is a cross sectional study conducted among 150 young adults, migrated students residing in Delhi NCR data was collected through structured questionnaires. Results the major findings of the present study are that young students migrate to urban locations like NCR for reasons such as unavailability of courses and in search of better campuses and opportunities. As many as 33.33 of total students migrated from Uttar Pradesh, and 68.7 of total students who migrated to Delhi NCR for educational purposes does not go back for voting in the last elections to their home constituency. Other than this political exclusion, many students also reported discrimination based on caste, race, gender, colour, and ethnicity. Conclusion The government should re examine the migration policies of our country and try to connect with the booming young population, and implement already existing policies widely for the development of youth. The government and educational institutions also require urgent interventions regarding the exclusion of migrated young students and their mental health. Job Satisfaction and Faculty Turnover Intentions: A Case of Pakistani Univers...IOSRJBM
Retaining faculty members has been a problem in many universities for decades. When competent teachers quit, they depart with critical knowledge and experience that are essential for maintaininga competitive advantage. The aim of this study was to measure the impact of four facets of job satisfaction on turnover intentions of faculty members of different universities of Rawalpindi/Islamabad. A 16-item, selfadministered questionnaire was used to gather data on independent and dependent variables. In questionnaire, researchers used 5 point Likert scale for variables to measure respondent’s possible responses. 110 questionnaires were completed and returned back. Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression tests were used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the three facets of job satisfaction i.e. remuneration, supervisory support and work life policies have significant and negative relationship with turnover intentions while recognition has insignificant relationship with turnover intentions and this relationship did not support the researchers’ prediction. Results have been discussed andrecommendations have been made for universities’ administrations.

In response to the policy of Ministry of Education, colleges in China revised their undergraduate degree curriculum to include entrepreneurship education. We conducted a research on 318 undergraduate students from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to study the impact of seminar-based and traditional entrepreneurship education pedagogy on college student entrepreneurial intention, by hierarchical regression analysis. In addition, the article researched the moderation effect caused by the different education pedagogy on ‘entrepreneurial attitude affects entrepreneurial intention’ and ‘entrepreneurial confidence affects entrepreneurial intention’ by introducing the segmentation variables of entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial confidence to the model. The findings of this research have important empirical implications toward future college education reformation.

The study was conducted through a descriptive research design. Sixty one non-teaching employees of Kitale National Polytechnic were the target population. The whole population formed the sample size. A questionnaire was the main tool for primary data collection. Descriptive and inferential statistics and regression analysis were used in interpreting the collected data. The study will be able to answer the hurdles that non-teaching employees face while performing their tasks. The findings established in this study will create a path to improved performance of non-teaching employees not only in Kitale National Polytechnic but all the national polytechnics in Kenya.

ABSTRACT: India is plagued by high levels of unemployment. Government in collaboration with private stakeholders have initiated numerous interventions to encourage entrepreneurship, however not enough progress has been made up to date. This can be attributed to the lack of understanding of the attitudes and perceptions among the youth towards entrepreneurship. The current interventions are mostly focused on dealing with the most common obstacles such as the cultural and social norms, financial support, regulation, while ignoring to foster the correct attitudes towards entrepreneurship as a career choice. The Kerala state is known to be the high literacy area of India being the highest graduates as well as commerce graduate qualified of the country. The scarcity of employment opportunities in the formal market is the source of the high unemployment rate among graduates. The University students possess a high potential in terms of starting their own businesses ventures due to their levels of education. The question is: Do they possess a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship? This document summarizes research on implementing technopreneurship scientific learning to produce electronic product prototypes in engineering education. The research was conducted in 3 phases: needs analysis and model design, model development and validation, and model implementation. The implementation phase involved 40 students creating electronic product prototypes, including a water detector, by applying knowledge from their entrepreneurship course. Students tested the prototypes, analyzed them using software, and created business plans to commercialize the products. The goal was to stimulate students' entrepreneurial spirit and skills through hands-on learning to better prepare them for employment.

Youth Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Challenges in Indiaiosrjce
This paper focuses and provides an insight into the current scenario of today’s engineering
graduates; the careers opted by various engineering students, either jobs or higher education. The role of these
young and dynamic students with potential in entrepreneurship is been focused and given a broader aspect.
Attention is also given on the current challenges that are faced by the young entrepreneurs and what
opportunities lay for them in entrepreneurship. Some suggestions on possible roles of government, educational
and financial institutes are also listed. Along with this, a case study on Aspiring Young Entrepreneurs is
discussed where undergraduate students of Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli mutually endeavor to gain
entrepreneurial skills collectively.
Intrapreneurship skill has considered as the alternative learning outcomes of entrepreneurship education. However, entrepreneurship teachers need a complex learning program to develop intrapreneurship among business students. At the same time, The Ministry of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia recommends university teachers implement case methods to deliver complex learning environments and build critical skills among students. Therefore, this study aims to i) examine the effect of micro small medium enterprise (MSME) cases on the intrapreneurship of business students, ii) investigate the influence of MSME cases on flow experience in entrepreneurship education and iii) investigate the effect of flow experience during entrepreneurship education on intrapreneurship skill. We used field experiments on entrepreneurship and digital business student in business development courses. The result indicates that the case method effectively developed student intrapreneurship skill and flow experience during the course positively impacting student intrapreneurship skill.
Employability is an important factor that can determine the quality of prospective graduates, especially in vocational high schools. Therefore, vocational high schools, as one of the educational institutions that prepare workforce resources, need to pay attention to factors that can increase their students' employability. This study aims to empirically examine the role of self-efficacy and the peer interaction on student employability. The subjects of this study were 132 students at Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Prambanan. The data were collected through an employability scale, a self-efficacy scale, and a peer interaction scale. The data were then analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that: 1) Simultaneously, there was a very significant role that self-efficacy and peer interaction have on employability with p=0.000 (p<0.01); 2) Partially, there was also a very significant role that self-efficacy has on employability with p=0.000 (p<0.01); 3) Peer interaction also had a partially significant role on employability with p=0.001 (p<0.01). Both self-efficacy and peer interaction simultaneously contributed 40.8% to employability, but self-efficacy had a more dominant role (26.7%) than peer interactions (14.1%).

The research population is all Vocational High School students in Malang with proportional random sampling sampling technique and a total sample of 100 students. Primary data was analyzed by structural equation model with Partial Least Square (PLS) data processing program. Based on the results of data analysis revealed that the constructivistic learning model influences the entrepreneurial orientation. It means, the constructivistic learning model really becomes an approach in building mental entrepreneurship.

Universities in Indonesia create millions of graduates, but the labor market
does not absorb most graduates, so they become unemployed. One of the
ways to overcome unemployment is through entrepreneurship education to
encourage them to become entrepreneurs to create their jobs. The success of
entrepreneurship is determined by utilizing capital, one of which is social
capital. This study aimed to find out how the relevance of social capital in
developing entrepreneurship education. This was qualitative study, and data
was gathered through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation.
Data analysis went through the stages of reduction, presentation, and
conclusion drawing and was finally verified. The results of the research
explained that the elements of social capital, including networks, norms, and
trust was built through entrepreneurship education.
Vocational high schools aim to create graduates who are ready to work, but in reality, many graduates are not ready to work at this time. Low employability is the main problem. This study aims to design and test a theoretical model of the effect of entrepreneurial readiness, adversity quotient, and social intelligence on employability in vocational high school students. The population of this study was students of class XII vocational high school "X" in Moyudan, Sleman, which consisted of 209 students. The sample in this study was 68 students selected by cluster random sampling technique. The data collection method used employability scales, entrepreneurial readiness scales, adversity quotient scales, and social intelligence scales. Data were analyzed using the structural equation model (SEM) through the Smart Partial Least Square 3.3.9 program. The results of this study are the formation of a model of the influence of entrepreneurial readiness, adversity quotient, and social intelligence on employability that is appropriate (fit) with empirical data. The adversity quotient has a positive and very significant effect on employability, while entrepreneurship readiness and social intelligence have no impact on employability. This model can be used as a valid reference in developing employability variables.

This study aimed to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of entrepreneurship education programs at universities in Bali. The identified results are used as the basis for formulating strategies
for developing entrepreneurship education in order to be able to create more and more young entrepreneurs. The approach used in this research is SWOT analysis and internal–external matrix. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali has been going well; however, there are still obstacles or threats faced and weaknesses from the entrepreneurship education programs that have been running, such as lack of high public appreciation, especially parent’s respect toward the entrepreneurial profession, and the lack of awards obtained from universities. Based on the existing environmental conditions, in the future, the obstacles and weaknesses of existing entrepreneurship education need to be improved by frequently conducting literacy on entrepreneurship education to the community and giving higher awards to students who succeed in becoming entrepreneurs.
This study examined the interaction of alertness, self-efficacy, and intention
in entrepreneurial behavior. This research departed from the efforts of
educational institutions to produce graduates with entrepreneurial profiles.
Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 530 respondents
who had taken sharia entrepreneurship classes at a university in Indonesia.
The results showed that education positively affected students' alerts and
self-efficacy. Alertness and subsequent self-efficacy also positively impact
entrepreneurial intention and behavior. Next, the entrepreneurial intention
has a positive effect on entrepreneurial behavior. Contradictory findings
show entrepreneurship education does not significantly impact
entrepreneurial intention, self-efficacy, and behavior. The indirect effect
found that the mediating role of alertness, self-efficacy, and purpose could
fully bridge the relationship between education and entrepreneurial behavior.
The results implied the importance of alertness, self-efficacy, and intention
to promote entrepreneurial behavior in educational institutions. The study
results highlighted an important message for universities and schools to put
more effort into students' self-efficacy, vigilance, and personal intention to
maximize learning activities on campus. The action can support the efforts
of educational institutions through the entrepreneurship curriculum to
increase the profile of alums as entrepreneurs.
Predictive and Statistical Analyses for Academic Advisory Supportijcsit
The ability to recognize students’ weakness and solving any problem may confront them in timely fashion is
always a target of all educational institutions. This study was designed to explore how can predictive and
statistical analysis support the academic advisor’s work mainly in analysis students’ progress. The sample
consisted of a total of 249 undergraduate students; 46% of them were Female and 54% Male. A one-way
analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test were conducted to analysis if there was different behaviour in
registering courses. Predictive data mining is used for support advisor in decision making. Several
classification techniques with 10-fold Cross-validation were applied. Among of them, C4.5 constitutes the
best agreement among the finding results.
The aim of this research is 1) implements the learning model with gallery walk type in student learning activities, 2) implements the cooperative learning model with learning together type in student learning activities, 3) compare the gallery walk type of cooperative learning with learning together type in student learning activities. The type of this research is experimental and comparative. Population in this research is student of Tri Dharma Palembang senior high school. The research sample is XI Social 1 as the Experiment Class 1 and XI Social 2 as the Experiment Class 2. The result shows 1) there is an impact from the implementation of gallery walk type of cooperative learning in students learning activities, 2) there is an impact of implementation of learning together type in student learning activities, 3) there is a comparison of cooperative learning of gallery walk type and learning together type in students learning activities.
Educating oneself about financial education as recent investment is a necessity, so that there is a need to conduct a study to avoid the financial problems appeared. This study aims to investigate the students' financial education level based on self-reliance and self-efficacy aspects. There were 317 students of Indrapasta PGRI university involved in this study. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression preceded by classic assumption test. The result showed that those three hypotheses are accepted. The effect of self-reliance and self-efficacy is 30.1% and other factors which are not discussed in this study affect as 69.9 %.
abstract - This study is a comparative experiment which uses “completely randomized design” which aims to test the effect of cooperative learning model of “the power of two dan tea party” toward student’s learning activities with test the difference of cooperative learning model usage with “the power of two with tea party” type in student’s activities. Population sample is taken in 16 Palembang National Senior High School with using all students in Social Tenth Grade. Sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique that differentiates Social Tenth Grade of class 4 as the experimental class 1 and Social Tenth Grade of class 1 as the experimental class 2. Data collection uses observation sheet (students and teachers). Experiment study is conducted in three phases: preparation phase, conducting phase, and finalization phase. The result shows (1) there is an influence from cooperative learning model “the power of two” type in student’s study activities, (2) there is an influence from cooperative learning model “tea party” type in student’s learning activities, and (3) there is an influence from cooperative learning model “the power of two” type toward student’s learning activities.
Abstract:- This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance mechanism and Financial Performance on firm value in banking companies. The method used in this research is research method of descriptive associative. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regressions, processed by using SPSS program version 23. The results obtained are partially there is a negative influence of Good Corporate Governance mechanism (independent board of commissioner, institutional ownership, and audit committee) on the value of the company and there is positive influence profitability (ROE) on firm value. While simultaneously, there is influence together mechanism of Good Corporate Governance and profitability to company value. The suggestion is that companies should consider the implementation of Good Corporate Governance and to measure the company's financial performance can use other measurements such as ROA and NPM. While to measure the company's value can also use other measurements such as Price Earnings Ratio (PER) or Tobin's Q.
Abstract- This research aims to know how the effect of learning model logan avenue problem solving heuristic to the student’s learning activity of the social programme X.I at SMAN 1 Bukit Tinggi, West Sumatera. The methodology of the research which is used in this research is experimental research. The population of this research amounts 151 students. The sample used in this research is cluster random sampling. So that the sample of social programme XI class is 30 studends. The technique of data analysis is observaion data analysis, pretest and hypothesis test. Based on the research done , it consists of significant effect of using learning model logan avenue problem solving heuristic to the student’s learning activity of social programme X.I at SMAN 1 Bukit Tinggi, West Sumatera.
Abstract- This study is aimed at comparing team-assisted individualization learning model and scramble learning model toward student’s learning activities on social science subject, SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. This is a comparative study using a completely randomized design. The population of this study was all eighth grade classes consisting of 354 students. Cluster random sampling was used to decide the sample of this study in which class VIII.10 as experiment-1 and VIII.9 as experiment-2; Each class consists of 35 students. The technique of data collection used in this study was observation. SPSS 24.0 was used to analyze the data. The result shows that there are active learning activities. Statistically, scramble learning model is more interesting than team-assisted individualization learning model.

Abstract- This study aims to determine and classify the barriers experienced by students to start entrepreneurship. This type of
research is exploratory. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling with a total sample of 262 people. The
Data analysis technique used is Factor Analysis. The collected data is processed statistically using SPSS version 24.0. The result of the
research shows that there are seven new factors that can hamper the students to start the business, first the basic ability of
entrepreneurship, the two factors of striving, the three factors of future uncertainty, the four factors of courage, the five resource
factors, the six risk factors, the seven information factors.

I. INTRODUCTION
BPS data in 2017 describes total unemployment in Indonesia reached 7,005,262 people (5.3%) which increased from the previous
year. The increase in the number of unemployed is caused by the lack of employment while the number of college graduates
continues to grow. As a result, there is an imbalance between the number of employment and the labor force. This is seen from the
phenomenon of the enlarged registrants when the government opens the Candidate for Civil Servants (CPNS) in 2017. Based on data
from BKN, total applicants reached 2,433,656 people for 37,138 formation. This problem can trigger the poverty rate in Indonesia is
getting worse. Therefore, the role of individuals, communities and governments is needed to reduce the number of unemployed in
Indonesia.
One alternative to reduce unemployment rate is with entrepreneurship activity [1], [2]. Some studies show that entrepreneurial
activity has a positive impact on economic activity [3]–[14]. Entrepreneurship establishes social relationships through working
relationships and business relationships between individuals / communities [6], improves the quality of human resources [7], enhances
competitiveness and contributes to economic growth [9], and can improve the economy for the realization of prosperity and prosperity
of the people [15].
The establishment of entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial spirit starts from among the students [16]–[18]. First, the
students have the role of agent of change and iron stock is a hope of society as a generation that can compete locally and globally [19].
Second, the unsatisfied nature of the students triggers them to create jobs rather than seek employment [18], [20]. Third, students have
above average knowledge with critical thinking can create more interesting and innovative business ideas [21]).
Padang State University (UNP) as one of the educational institutions in Indonesia has a focus on giving birth to professional
and capable graduates in entrepreneurship. This effort is manifested with the entrepreneurship subject as compulsory subject in
Faculty of Economics. In general, UNP students who have attended entrepreneurship courses are known as 8.3% of people who own
businesses, 41.7% have plans to start businesses, 20% are not interested in becoming entrepreneurs, and 30% of people are interested
in working with agencies government and SOEs. Students interested in entrepreneurship support the government to reduce the number
of unemployed [19]. Meanwhile, students who are not interested in entrepreneurship are associated with several issues, such as capital
problems due to insufficient financial resources, ideas that make it difficult to start, a less supportive environment, lack of experience,
lack of information, lack of knowledge, lack of skills, and fear the risks [2], [17], [22].
PMW (Student Entrepreneurial Program) is one of the government's efforts to encourage students to entrepreneurship. This
program involves students directly to start their desired business units through the selection, supervision and evaluation of business
companions [2]. The goal of the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW) is to produce innovative Entrepreneurs in the future and to
promote the Indonesian economy [20]. In addition, the program is useful for students to work for themselves and do not need to look
for job vacancies either held by the private sector or government which is very limited [19], [22]. Meanwhile, if college graduates

want to work in a place that is in accordance with the discipline of science, entrepreneurship is owned is considered sufficient to be a
stock when plunging into the community, so that the student as a development agency for the community [23].
Theoretically, the existence of learning and practice on entrepreneurship courses as well as government support can encourage
students to start a business early on. However, the reality is not in line with the theory. Until now, students who entrepreneurship
individually or through the program still PMW slightly especially among students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of
Padang (FE UNP). This can be seen based on the data in Table 1 below:

The number of students who join the PMW (Table 1) tends to fluctuate each year. This study assumes that the phenomenon of
at least entrepreneurial students is related to factors that hinder or hinder students in starting entrepreneurship. In general, the
inhibiting factors come from internal and external individuals. Internal inhibiting factors are concerned with the individual [2], [4], [6],
[12], [13], [18], [24]–[26], such as intentions and experiences [6]. External inhibiting factors are formed or influenced by the
circumstances surrounding the individual [9]–[11], [13], [19], [23], [24], [27]–[32], such as environment and family support [29].
Therefore, this study would like to know more about the factors that hamper students to start entrepreneurial activities [10], [32].
Furthermore, this study has the following objectives. First, examine the concept of entrepreneurship in addition and develop
more complex science. Second, to know the challenges experienced by students to start entrepreneurship. In particular, the purpose of
this study is to clarify and classify the barriers that students experience to start entrepreneurship by factor analysis.
The next discussion of this study is structured as follows. Part 2 examines the latest literature on entrepreneurship. Section 3
discusses the methods used to analyze data. Section 4 presents the results of research briefly. Section 5 is the conclusions.
II. LITERATURE REVIEW
Qualified human resources (HR) creates creative and innovative entrepreneurs [12]. Intention and courage are the initial capital to
become an entrepreneur [24]. Entrepreneurial activity is an opportunity to determine fate because it gives freedom for entrepreneurs to
achieve what is important to him [30]. Opportunities for change, opportunities to increase self-potential, and opportunities for self-
actualization to achieve stunning benefits [23], [31], many entrepreneurs are not super rich, but many of them are prosperous [8].
Most entrepreneurs have interesting characteristics. First, have high confidencethusthey dare to take risks to make success as a
necessity [20], [23]. Second, they have a sense of responsibility, ambitious, committed, tolerant, flexible, focused, skilled, highly
motivated, achievers, future-oriented in finding opportunities, not easily satisfied and never give up [3], [4]. Third, they have as a vast
business network, consisting of: networking, friends, and cooperative relationships [12], [22], [32]. Fourth, they are responsive and
creative to change, consisting of: critical thinking, fun, proactive, creative, innovative, efficient, productive, originall, and maintains
their quality [16], [21], [32], [33].
Although it has interesting characteristics, but still there are some challenges faced by students in starting a business. The
barriers are difficulties, obstacles and problems faced by entrepreneurs in starting a business [19]. In particular, these barriers consist
of income uncertainty, the risk of losing all investment, low quality of life, higher levels of stress, full responsibility, temporary
employment, long and unclear working hours, less encouraging education systems, perceptions about failure, wrong myths about
entrepreneurship, not knowing how to get started, no experience, no capital, no courage, no guiding person, fear of getting out of
comfort zone, needing big capital, being less independent, afraid of risk, lack of start-up information, lack of information on sources
of capital, lack of skills, lack of knowledge, lack of ideas, unsupportive environments [4]–[8], [10], [12], [17], [18], [22], [23], [25],
[27], [29], [34], [35].
III. METHOD
This study was conducted at UNP, the population focused on the Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang (FE UNP), which
consists of 6 courses (Diploma III - Bachelor) with the number of 753 students. Sampling technique used the proportionate stratified
random sampling in Sample as many as 262 students consisting of Accounting study program (D3) as many as 31 students, Trade
Management (D3) as many as 29 students, Accounting (S1) as many as 48 students, Economic Education (S1) as many as 46 students,
Management (S1) as many as 66 students, Economics (S1) as many as 41 students.
Questionnaires are based on the environmental phenomena and literature review focusing on student barriers start
entrepreneurship. Fill out the questionnaire through physical (direct) and through google form (indirect). Each answer to item

statement uses the interval scale (1) - (5). Factor analysis classifies the variables into several inhibiting factors with using SPSS 24.0
program.
IV. RESULT
Based on the main objective of this study to see what factors are hindering students starting entrepreneurship that can be grouped into
several factors. Data processing factor analysis using the help of SPSS 24.0. The output of KMO Measure of Sampling Adequacy
(MSA) is 0.773. The value is 0.773 > 0.5 with sig value. 0.000 which means the sample and correlation between variables is feasible
for further process.

The next process looks at the magnitude of an MSA variable with an anti-image matrices. Variable 1 (0.599), Variable 2

The eigenvalue value describes the relative importance of each factor in computing the variance of the 25 variables analyzed.
Based on the results of the formation of inhibiting factors for students to start entrepreneurship shows there are 7 factors formed from
25 variables are included. Each eigenvalue factor> 1. Factor 1 has eigenvalue of 7.421 with variance (29.683%), factor 2 has
eigenvalue of 3.250 with variance (13%), factor 3 has eigenvalue 1.756 with variance (7.024%), factor 4 has eigenvalue 1.669 with

variance (6.675%), factor 5 has eigenvalue 1.342 with variance (5.366%), factor 6 has eigenvalue 1.190 with variance (4.760%),
factor 7 has eigenvalue with 1,021 with variance (4,084%). The total variance of 25 variables extracted into 7 factors is 29.683% +
13% + 7.024% + 6.675% + 5.366% + 4.760% +4.084% = 70.592%. That is, a new factor is formed of 70.592% while the remaining
29.408% is explained by other factors not examined.
Furthermore, the Scree Plot describes the relationship between the number of factors formed with the eigenvalue value in the
form of the following graph.
In the scree plot the initial scree point indicates the factor formed before the scree point begins to level. Scree plot is related to
Rotated component matrix. Rotated component matrix describes the magnitude of the correlation between the factors formed with the
variables that exist.

The correlation between factor and variable is determined by the highest correlation. Variable 1 (income uncertainty) goes
into factor 4 with a correlation value of 0.553. Variable 2 (risk of losing all investment) goes into factor 6 with a correlation value of
0.729. Variable 3 (low quality of life) goes into factor 3 with a correlation value of 0.611. Variable 4 (higher stress level) goes into
factor 6 with a correlation value of 0.846. Variable 5 (must take full responsibility) goes into factor 2 with a correlation value of 0.567.
Variable 6 (non permanent employment) goes into factor 3 with a correlation value of 0.818. Variable 7 (long and unclear working
hours) goes into factor 2 with a correlation value of 0.501. Variable 8 (less-motivating education system) goes into factor 7 with a
correlation value of 0.689. Variable 9 (perception of failure) goes into factor 4 with a correlation value of 0.596. Variable 10 (wrong
myths about entrepreneurship) goes into factor 2 with a correlation value of 0.817. Variable 11 (do not know how to start) goes into
factor 1 with a correlation value of 0.610. Variable 12 (lack of experience) goes into factor 2 with a correlation value of 0.683.
Variable 13 (no capital) goes into factor 5 with a correlation value of 0.768. Variable 14 (lack the courage) goes into factor 1 with a
correlation value of 0.816. Variable 15 (no one leading) goes into factor 5 with a correlation value of 0.416. Variable 16 (fear of
getting out of comfort zone) goes into factor 4 with a correlation value of 0.676. Variable 17 (requiring large capital) goes into factor 5
with a correlation value of 0.866. Variable 18 (lack of independent) goes into factor 1 with a correlation value of 0.613. Variable 19
(fear of risk) goes into factor 4 with a correlation value of 0.592. Variable 20 (lack of start-up information) goes into factor 1 with a
correlation value of 0.791. Variable 21 (lack of information on sources of capital) goes into factor 7 with a correlation value of 0.845.
Variable 22 (lack of skills) goes into factor 1 with a correlation value of 0.765. Variable 23 (lack of knowledge) goes into factor 1 with
a correlation value of 0.863. Variable 24 (lack of ideas) goes into factor 1 with a correlation value of 0.693. Variable 25 (unfavorable
environment) goes into factor 2 with a correlation value of 0.546.
After rotation and factor transformation, the final step is the naming of each factor. Factor 1 (Do not know how to start, lack
the courage, lack of independent, lack of start-up information, lack of skills, lack of knowledge, lack of ideas) is given the name of the
Basic Entrepreneurship Capability Factor. Factor 2 (Must take full responsibility, long and unclear working hours, wrong myths about
entrepreneurship, lack of experience, unfavorable environment) is named Power Factor. Factor 3 (Low quality of life, non permanent
employment) is named as Future Uncertainty Factor. Factor 4 (Uncertainty of income, perception of failure, fear of getting out of
comfort zone, fear of risk) is called the Factor of Courage. Factor 5 (No capital, no one leading, requiring large capital) is named
Resource Factor. Factor 6 (Risk of losing all investment, higher stress level) is named Risk Factor. Factor 7 (Less-motivating
education system, lack of information on sources of capital) is named Information Factor.
V. CONCLUSION
Entrepreneurship is the most important factor in reducing the unemployment rate in Indonesia especially in educated unemployment,
but for students to become an entrepreneur is the hardest step that will be traversed because there are several inhibiting factors that can
cause the difficulties of students in starting a business. The inhibiting factors found by the researcher are: the basic ability factor of
entrepreneurship which consists of the ignorance of the students on the way to be used in starting their business, the lack of courage,
the lack of ability of students in seeking information, and the lack of knowledge, skills as the basic ability of the student in starting the
business . Then, the morale factor which consists of the difficulty of the student in taking full responsibility for his business, due to
long and unclear working hours, the wrong myths about entrepreneurship such as entrepreneurial ability is heredity, lack of experience
and environment that does not support that makes students less struggling to start his business. Then, future uncertainty factors such as
low quality of life and work are not fixed. Then, the factor of courage is due to uncertain income earned, perceptions about failure,
fear of getting out of comfort zone, fear of risks arising. Then, the resource factor, consisting of the amount of capital needed, so the
students do not have the capital, the absence of people who lead. Then, risk factors such as risk of losing all investment and higher
levels of stress if students are entrepreneur. And the last factor of information, because the education system is less encouraging so
that students difficult to obtain information related to business and lack of information about the source of their capital.
