This document provides procedures for using Infant Flow SiPAP, a form of non-invasive nasal bi-level continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) ventilation, to treat respiratory distress in infants. It describes how Infant Flow SiPAP works by cycling between two continuous positive airway pressure levels, simulating periodic sighs. The procedures cover equipment setup, calibration, initial settings, management and monitoring of Infant Flow SiPAP treatment, as well as potential complications and benefits.
