3. NAME OF THE INDUSTRY: NUVISTA PHARMACEUTICALS
• This visit was organized with the prior permission and
guidance of Dr.B.Vasudha Dean, school of pharmacy and Dr. A.
Padmanabha rao Associate professor.
• A complete report on industrial visit organized by SCHOOL OF
PHARMACY, for the students of we final year of B.Pharmacy in
order to get the practical knowledge about ADVANCED
TECHNOLOGY used in manufacturing.

5. • School of pharmacy had organized an indusrial visit on 8 July, 2022
to NUVISTA PHARMACEUTICALS located at industrial development
area, Mallapur, Hyderabad, for the students of Bachelor of pharmacy.
The visit was organized by dean of school of pharmacy
Dr.B.Vasudha, Associated professor Dr.A.Padmanabha rao is the
coordinators faculty for the industrial visit.
• We started travelling from the college campus at 11.30am via our
college bus. Total 37 students along with 3 co-ordinators faculty
were there in the journey.

6. • This industrial visit will be very helpful in our future practical life and
brings a positive change in our thinking and practical behavior
regarding education.
• We have reached the nuvista pharmaceuticals industry at 12:15 Pm.
we have been received by an in-charge, who gave us a brief
introduction about the industry, there by we moved on to see the
different sections like storage area, packaging materials, weighing
area, raw materials, milling and mixing area, production area of
tablets, capsules and syrups, coating area, filling area, packaging
area and quality control area.

7. • We have entered the stores for raw materials, warehouse and
packaging materials. In-charge Sir has explained us about the
raw materials and packaging materials are analyzed for their
safety & efficacy. In next step both the API and the excipients
are weighed separately and are sent to the milling and mixing
area.

8. • Raw materials: This is storage that something that companies
have carefully engineered according to their own unique.
Storage needs to be to produce a consistent product.

9. • Production area: Main area of the pharmaceutical facility which
is responsible for manufacturing of the pharmaceutical
products.

10. • Storage area: The drug substances are stored on different
storage condition according to their requirements. Some
chemicals and solutions in quality control and media in
microbiology section are required to store in specific storage
condition.

11. • QA&QC department: QA&QC are the various process
management procedures employed to preserve and enhance
the quality of products or service.

12. • Packaging area: Which involves 3 stages
• Primary packaging
• Secondary packaging
• Tertiary packaging
• All three are important and have their own significance in
pharmaceutical packaging line. It is the packaging process for
pharmaceutical preparation, it involves all of the operations from
production through drug distribution channels to the end consumers.

15. • IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL VISIT :
• Industrial visit offers a great source to gain practical
knowledge. We can observe and learn as to hoe theatrical
concept are put into action, thereby aiding the practical
learning. We are exposed to real working environment and
shown how things are done in an organisation. Everything is
covered in these visits.

17. • Conclusion: we are thankful for all our faculties for organizing
such an informative event for us in crucial for development of
our practical skills. We hope to get more chances further to
have such an informative and wonderful experiences of visiting
different industries.
