Common sense, simple security for WordPress. Many presentations have lots of complicated .htaccess tricks, moving/hiding files, etc. However, if people are overwhelmed with details, they tend to not do anything. If I were to summarize what you MUST do for security, I'd say:
1 - BACKUP - find a backup tool and use it. Subscribe to VaultPress.com or host your site with WPEngine.com or purchase BackupBuddy plugin and schedule regular backups. If you're short on cash, use BackWPUp plugin and download your wp-content folder.
2 - UPDATE - All plugins, themes, and WordPress at least once a month or whenever there is a security update. Sign up for an account at WordPress.org, so you'll get notices of WordPress security updates.
3 - DELETE -- All unused plugins and themes. These are your biggest security risks. Delete all unused copies of WordPress you might have installed on your server.
4 - BE CAUTIOUS - Don't use plugins willy nilly. Do some research. They are not all made the same, and they will leave you vulnerable to hacking.
5 - PASSWORDS -- Use strong, randomly generated passwords, all different, for everything - your hosting, ftp, WP login, and email. Use 1Password.com to track your passwords easily and securely.
6 - SECURITY PLUGINS -- Run Firewall 2 and Limit Login Attempts. There are others, but I don't know how well they play with others and what things they modify. You can check out Bulletproof Security and Better WP Security.
7 - BEST PRACTICES - See the slideshow for some other best practices regarding users, comments, etc.
If you just do the above 6 things systematically, you'll be far ahead of your peers! Good luck!
If you’ve updated your website content but it’s not showing to your visitors, then it is crucial for you to go through this presentation as it take you to the ways of clearing your site cache with the help of useful plugins such as WP super cache or W3 total cache. Moreover, this presentation will assist you with a step-by-step guide to clear your website cache with extreme caution.

1.Wireless Communication System_Wireless communication is a broad term that i...JeyaPerumal1
Wireless communication involves the transmission of information over a distance without the help of wires, cables or any other forms of electrical conductors.
Wireless communication is a broad term that incorporates all procedures and forms of connecting and communicating between two or more devices using a wireless signal through wireless communication technologies and devices.
Features of Wireless Communication
The evolution of wireless technology has brought many advancements with its effective features.
The transmitted distance can be anywhere between a few meters (for example, a television's remote control) and thousands of kilometers (for example, radio communication).
Wireless communication can be used for cellular telephony, wireless access to the internet, wireless home networking, and so on.
1. My Website, as some of you may know, recently had a major error. Although I presumed it was
hacked, I was wrong. Instead, there was a database error which caused every article, page, and
comment to be deleted. That’s 46 posts, 3 pages, and 115 comments – 5 months worth of work.
Now, it’s not impossible for this to happen to your site, too. So, how do you stop it from
happening?

Backing Up Your Website
One of the most important things for you to do is back up your website’s files and databases
frequently. Now, I have made the mistake of not backing up my website’s files, but I do back up
my databases. By doing this mistake, if I were to do something that causes something bad to
happen, I wouldn’t have anything to go back to. For example, picture this…
You’re editing some of your website’s codes and accidently delete your index.html file (or
index.php). Unless you have your website backed up, you will lose that file. What if you have
over 1,000 lines of code like some files? You just lost hours, if not days of work!
By backing up your files, you can easily recover those files and save lots of stress.
Databases
Databases, however, store things like comments, posts, etc. It, in general, stores all of the
website’s information. Now, there’s one problem – if something happens to your database, you
could lose all of your content, much like what happened to my website.
Now, you can manually back up databases, much like general backups, but there is also a
solution to Wordpress users. If you download a plug-in called “Wordpress Database Backup”,
you can, after editing the settings, have a backup of your database emailed to you ever night. If it
weren’t for that plug-in, My Website would be almost a week behind.
Importance of Website Backups
So, if you haven’t figured it out already, backing up your website is important so you don’t
LOSE everything. Of course, you should have good security so hackers can’t get in, but you
must also realize that things can happen at the hosts’ end, too. If something crashes, everything
2. could be deleted, and without backups, everything would be gone forever. Backing everything up
can save hours of frustration, stress, and yelling ( ).
Also, if you’re wondering why no post was out on Sunday, May 23, 2010, there was. The thing
was, the plug-in I talked about only backs up the database during the night time. So, the post that
got released on Sunday got deleted when the database experienced the errors. I tried getting
everything fixed in time, though!
