We have millions of working class individuals who teach in various
NGOs, and we have another set of million individuals like them who
don’t but want to.We have identified that the problem of education,
the disparity can be equated if there’s an efficient way to connect the
children in NGOs to the people working in corporates, etc.
So the big question is, what is hampering this possible connection?
1) Lack of motivation and incentives for volunteers.
2) Existing portals are not transparent and easy to find requirements
that match skill set.

There are many organisations in the world who do volunteer match like
iVolunteer in India, dogoodvolunteer in Malaysia andVolunteerMatch in USA.
But, we standout from others as our aim is to make a social network with a
focus on incentivizing volunteerism which hasn't been tried before.
Attaching the impact score to this process of collaboration is where the crux of
the idea lies.We have a whole lot of ideas to make this social network of
volunteers an exciting and informative hub.
Quora is a good example where Credits given are crowd sourced.This ensures
that quality answers are rewarded. Now those Credits are of no use outside
Quora, but that acts as an incentive for me write for them

9. Implementation
1) A major survey to identify all the registered NGOs, basically, a
census of the NGOs.This is already carried out by the Government.
2) Identification of NGOs with projectors for the implementation of
video classroom. Supplying projectors to some quality NGOs.
3) Portal creation by the IT department of India.The database to be
made available by the Government
4) Asking the MNCs to supply volunteers under the CSR scheme of the
company.This will also make the 80G tax benefit a more
transparent scheme and fraud will reduce.
5) Once the volunteers and NGOs are registered on the portal, they’ll
collaborate to initiate the video classes via Skype/other tools.
6) Major funding involves IT infrastructure and doesn’t have much
running costs.

1) CSR of MNCs – track their progress, Impact Score as a measure to
create competition among MNCs. Data can be used by Government
too..
2) Impact Score can be redeemed by the volunteers at retail stores, like
Sodexo coupons.
3) Register as a private company and raise capital via social venture
capital and funds.
4) A paid Impact Score report.

11. Impact
1) The impact will be directly proportional to the number of volunteers.
More the volunteers, more children will get quality education by the
hands of well-educated professionals. We have millions of children who
don’t go to schools due to lack of quality teachers, so this provides a
balance.
2) Concept can be extended to other fields where mentorship is needed,
not only education. Building a brand around this to make the Impact
Score, which measures your social impact, like the Klout Score, which
shows your influence across social networks.
3) The corporates are not going anywhere for a long time, and we millions
of children to educate, so sustainability is something which clearly
exists.
4) The Education ministry will keep a watch over what is being taught by
the help of Government school teacher who may visit for surprise
checks.
