This document describes a platform called DonateItems that connects donors with NGOs to facilitate item donations. It allows donors to search NGO requirements and fulfill them by purchasing items from an e-commerce site. NGOs can post their item needs for free. The platform aims to make donating items as easy as online shopping. It has onboarded over 50 NGOs so far and generated around $8,000 in donations. The founders are seeking $50,000 in funding to expand the platform's product catalog, register more NGOs, and facilitate larger donations to help more people in need.

Why people hesitate to give? Our value proposition
Don’t trust it will reach the needy By focusing only on item donations, we
reduce the chances of misuse
drastically. We follow stringent NGO on-
boarding criteria. We ensure feedback to
the donor by the NGO supported by a
picture or a video. Random checks on
items procured by NGO are done.
Most people find it difficult to locate
NGOs nearby and simply end up
donating items to domestic help or even
worse trashing them
Donors can search NGO requirements
across a wide range of causes, item-
category, location and NGO
We ensure transparent and easy donation of
new social-purpose products…

Problem for NGOs Our value proposition
NGOs are in constant need of various
items which are integral to achieving
their objectives.
NGOs can set up a free account on our
platform and can post their item
requirements.
Highly resource constrained. Individual donors and companies from
across the world can fulfill these
requirements by purchasing items from
an e-commerce site and giving NGO
delivery address on the shopping site
directly!
… and also ensure that NGOs who need these
donated items can access them easily

Why you should invest?
• There is no portal that lists item requirements of NGOs across a range of causes,
locations and item categories that a donor could choose from. There is no portal that
leverages the rapidly expanding e-commerce to fulfill NGOs item requirements
• There is a large segment of donors who prefer donating items as against cash.
• Our concept is easily scalable. Both inequality and consumerism have reached their
zenith globally. We therefore hope to make our platform global! We have initiated
feasibility study to deploy in Nigeria and Bulgeria.
• There is buying happening and for unique reason. ShopDilSe will sell products used
by people at BoP(80% of the population). Very little competition in this segment.
• You will be making a huge impact in the lives of millions of people.
• This is an opportunity to revolutionize the philanthropic space
• The team has an impressive mix of management, technical and sector expertise
