Volunteers from financial services company Plaid and students from Brain Power, an education nonprofit, participated in a business competition hosted by SuitUp. Students were divided into teams and coached by Plaid volunteers to create financial literacy apps, with the teams pitching their ideas to judges. Team MoneyUp won the competition. A post-competition survey found that the experience increased students' confidence and interest in careers related to Plaid's industry. Both volunteers and students expressed interest in participating in future SuitUp competitions.
