McKinstry volunteers coached students from Idaho Technical Career Academy in a business competition called SuitUp. Students were divided into teams to create business proposals for sustainable infrastructure projects. Team Lil Places won with their idea for a community center. Both volunteers and students found the experience valuable for developing career skills like communication, teamwork and public speaking. Volunteers and students want to participate in similar competitions again in the future.

4. Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from McKinstry and students from Idaho Technical Career
Academy participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they created a
sustainable infrastructure that aims to provide a current need in their community.
Volunteers coached students in various departments before helping them pitch to
judges for a cash prize.

engaging with the volunteers influenced their career choice and
now they can see themselves using skills such as communication,
