Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from McKinstry and students from Idaho Technical Career
Academy participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they created a
sustainable infrastructure that aims to provide a current need in their community.
Volunteers coached students in various departments before helping them pitch to
judges for a cash prize.

SuitUp asked students if McKinstry’s SuitUp competition made an
impact on their future career choice. 83% of students said that
engaging with the volunteers influenced their career choice and
now they can see themselves using skills such as communication,
teamwork and public speaking.

At their innovative online school, students can graduate high school with technical and specialty trade credentials, workplace experiences, skills that will lead real-world success, and a jump start on college.

Business Case Challenge Through SuitUp, volunteers from McKinstry and students from Idaho Technical Career Academy participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they created a sustainable infrastructure that aims to provide a current need in their community. Volunteers coached students in various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize. McKinstry’s Impact SuitUp asked students if McKinstry’s SuitUp competition made an impact on their future career choice. 83% of students said that engaging with the volunteers influenced their career choice and now they can see themselves using skills such as communication, teamwork and public speaking.
