Morgan Stanley volunteers participated in a SuitUp business competition with students from Community Counseling and Mediation at I.S. 528 in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Students were divided into teams and coached by Morgan Stanley volunteers to create an innovative new product for Nike for a target market. Team 5's Nike Bikers product won. After the competition, students reported feeling more confident in school and their careers. They were interested in exploring business, fashion, finance, marketing and media careers. Both students and volunteers enjoyed the experience and wanted to participate in future SuitUp events. The competition helped students see how skills like communication, teamwork and public speaking can be applied to different careers.
