Session-I (July-2020 to Dec-2020, Year 2020-21)
ISDA in association with MSC has transformed the lives of more than 425 youths and their
families in Janauli and nearby areas by giving them opportunities to enhance their existing
skill set by providing skill development and soft skills training and has improved socio-
economic status of the community by providing job opportunities.
In this Phase, We have a target for providing the training to 275 youths in Electrician, GWS,
Automobile Assistant Technician, Smartphone Repairing Technician and Business
Correspondent & Business Facilitator.
The training is divided into two parts i.e Session-I and Session-II.
Now we have completed the Session-I (July-2020 to Dec-2020) in which we have trained
125 youths out of 275 youths target. Rest 150 trainees would being trained in Session-II
(Jan-2021 to June-2021) in above mentioned trades.

MOBILIZATION FOR SESSION-I
For starting up the training, we had organized the mobilization drive in Janauli and nearby areas. We
had following activities for mobilization: (410 youths were mobilized)
1. Door to Door Campaigning
2. Small Group Meetings
3. Pamphlets distribution
4. Influencers
5. Previous Data Calling

CLASSROOM TRAINING
ISDA imparted the training in accordance to National Standards prescribed by Government of India through
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Continuous performance evaluation of trainees was done by conducting weekly/monthly test and it was the
key parameter for imparting the good training. The training was mix of 30% theoretical coverage clubbed
with 70% hands on training. And final assessment would be done by third party assessment agency under
NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation, Govt. of India) followed by providing the certificates to the
trainees. Classes was continued with using of technology with the help of TV Screen and YouTube etc. with

HANDS-ON TRAINING AT AUTOMOBILE WORKSHOPS
To upgrade skill set of the trainees with upcoming technologies, we have a tie-up with several
automobile workshops. Automobile trainees will take 4 days training at the workshops. This will help
them to develop a new perspective in dealing with workplace problems and help them to develop
new ideas.

Practical Sessions are part of daily classes on daily basis at the centre. Trainees are involving in practical as 70 % part
of the syllabus. And these practical sessions are very helpful for skilling of all the trainees.

EXPOSURE VISITS OF ALL TRADES
During the exposure visits, trainees were understood structure, system and function of at work place as well as
safety at working stations.
During the session, they had visited Alawal Electricity Sub-Station, Indusind Bank, Chola Finance, Samsung Service
Centre, MI Service Centre, Harender Motors and some construction sites. 3 exposure visits were conducted for
each trade with 85 % of average attendance of the trainees.

GUEST LECTURES OF ALL TRADES
These are integral part of the syllabus. Guest lectures were taken by the industry experts. In the guest lecture, major
was on industry and current working scenarios, building knowledge and capabilities. Experts mentored all the
upgrade their skills so that they could fit in the industry after completing of the training. 3 Guest Lectures were
conducted for each trade from different industry experts with 90 % average attendance of the trainees.
