• Mr Lokesh Gulati
– Mr. Lokesh Gulati is an engineer from IIT Roorkee. He has previously worked
with TATA MOTORS. He also holds a black belt in Six Sigma and is a certified
Lean Manufacturing Consultant. He is currently running his family business
of Auto-Components Manufacturing.
• Mr Ajay Garg
– Mr. AJAY GARG is a Diversified Professional, Effective Speaker, Technical
Author - Writer and Social Entrepreneur. He holds post-grad. Degrees in MA
Eco, MCom and MBA. Besides LLB, he is Fellow Member of ICSI and ICA and
Registered IPR Attorney. He owns www.agbcorplegal.com. He is also
President of NGO Aagan Foundation for Children Emancipation to enlighten
young minds and take care of their careers.
Management Committee
• Mr. Suresh Gulati and Mr. Surinder Gulati
– These two brothers are well known Industrialists and are founders of ‘SURYA
SPRINGS’ (an auto-components manufacturing firm) together and have
worked tirelessly to give a multifold growth to Surya Springs. From the day
one, they have been actively involved in the social welfare activities. They
started their journey with almost nothing in hand and their achievements can
be an inspiration for those who want to think big in life

• Lack of skilled Work force in MSME.
• Lack of resources (trainers, time and
infrastructure) for MSME to train their
employees.
• Freshers after graduation/Diploma are still in the
unemployable state due to lack of practical
knowledge.

– MAKE IN INDIA

workforce for MSMEs
• From unskilled to skilled workforce for MSMEs
• From Unemployable to employable
• Bridge the gap between Industry
requirements and Skills of Workforce.
• Promote the new advanced concept of
industry-integrated training
SCOPE
• Train the workforce of varied educational
qualification ranging from 12th pass to B.Tech
graduate.
• Train the workforce for varied positions starting
from assistant operator to Assistant Manager.
(Asst. Operator, Operator, Quality Inspector,
Quality Eng.)
• Train the workforce for varied fields of
manufacturing (esp. Automotive Industry) like
machining, forming, sheet metal, tool room,
fabrication etc.
Courses
• Semi Skilled Tool and Die maker : suitable for
ITI or Diploma who wish to make career in
development field. 120 Hrs Course
• Machine Operator : Suitable for 12th pass and
ITI Students. 90 Hrs course
• Quality Manager Training Programme:
Suitable for B.Tech / Non-B.tech Working
professionals with experience in quality deptt.
SEMI SKILLED TOOL AND DIE MAKER
Total of 120 Hrs.
A general 12 hrs a week training has been designed. Thus it is a 10 week course.
Timing and duration can be modified as per mutual discussion between the Institute and
our centre
Special Features of the course
• Course is designed with Industry-Integrated approach to give
industry like exposure to students with 70% practical training.
• Live projects involve manufacturing of tools and dies by the trainees
themselves. This shall immensely boost the confidence of students
to work in actual industry.
• The course is designed to be taught in teams to help build
teamwork which is the core of working in an industry.
• Course also includes motivational and behavioural classes to help
students develop a professional attitude before entering an
industry.
• After the placement, free customised orientation program for the
employing industry can be conducted to help both student and the
Industry in customising students training to suit the needs of that
particular industry. This will also reduce time of adjusting the
employee as per the industry needs by atleast ten folds.
Industry-Integrated Machine Operator
Total 90 Hrs course divided into 12 weeks with 8hrs a week.

approach to give industry like exposure to
students with 70% practical training.

products.
• Autonomous maintenance included.
• Training given on production and quality reports.
• Training on industry ethics and behavioral aspect.

• Basic System Requirements with overview of ISO/TS 16949
• Basic Analytical Skills required for the Industry
• Industrial ethics and behavioural aspect with mock
practices
• Using the power of MS Excel in Industry
• 7QC Tools with Practical Project
• Basic Industrial concepts like 5S, Kaizen and lean overview
• Overview of APQP and PPAP with hands on experience
• Detailed PFD, PFMEA and Control Plan
• Problem Solving (DMAIC Approach) with case study
analysis.
Optional Extra Learnings (For B.Tech
(0-1 yrs) experience)
• Overview of Line Quality (Use of Inspection
Instruments, Drawing Reading, Report
Making) with live development project.
• Overview of Basic Tool Room machinery. (Live

trainees.

‘IamSme of India’, ‘FSIA’ which have a network
of more than 100 industries. Thus giving a
great opportunity for placement.
• SSDRC has its own Entrepreneurship cell to
enable the capable trainees to start their own
businesses.

• SSDRC is an initiative by entrepreneurs from different
fields and thus promotes entrepreneurship in principle.
• It promotes trainees who are willing and capable of
managing their own business by providing technical,
legal as well as monetary assistance.
• It helps trainees willing to start their career as an
entrepreneur in analysis of business plan and
marketing.
• SSDRC also has a division of research, thus giving
ample opportunities of new and creative ideas for
entrepreneurs to start their businesses.

  • 3. Management Committee • Mr Lokesh Gulati – Mr. Lokesh Gulati is an engineer from IIT Roorkee. He has previously worked with TATA MOTORS. He also holds a black belt in Six Sigma and is a certified Lean Manufacturing Consultant. He is currently running his family business of Auto-Components Manufacturing. • Mr Ajay Garg – Mr. AJAY GARG is a Diversified Professional, Effective Speaker, Technical Author - Writer and Social Entrepreneur. He holds post-grad. Degrees in MA Eco, MCom and MBA. Besides LLB, he is Fellow Member of ICSI and ICA and Registered IPR Attorney. He owns www.agbcorplegal.com. He is also President of NGO Aagan Foundation for Children Emancipation to enlighten young minds and take care of their careers.

Insight of Today’s scenario • Lack of skilled Work force in MSME. • Lack of resources (trainers, time and infrastructure) for MSME to train their employees. • Freshers after graduation/Diploma are still in the unemployable state due to lack of practical knowledge. • Lack of Focus of MSME on training. • Govt. promoting skill development for success of – MAKE IN INDIA

A Look into Future • Govt. targets to train more than persons in different fields by 2022. • People will be having government approved certifications for their practical jobs. • Practical skills preffered over degree of education. • Industry-Integrated Approach to education will be focussed. • Govt. keeping a budget of more than Rs 1500 crore for skill development.

OUR PURPOSE (Skill Development) • Do our part of work towards skilling/upskilling workforce for MSMEs • From unskilled to skilled workforce for MSMEs • From Unemployable to employable • Bridge the gap between Industry requirements and Skills of Workforce. • Promote the new advanced concept of industry-integrated training

SCOPE • Train the workforce of varied educational qualification ranging from 12th pass to B.Tech graduate. • Train the workforce for varied positions starting from assistant operator to Assistant Manager. (Asst. Operator, Operator, Quality Inspector, Quality Eng.) • Train the workforce for varied fields of manufacturing (esp. Automotive Industry) like machining, forming, sheet metal, tool room, fabrication etc.

Courses • Semi Skilled Tool and Die maker : suitable for ITI or Diploma who wish to make career in development field. 120 Hrs Course • Machine Operator : Suitable for 12th pass and ITI Students. 90 Hrs course • Quality Manager Training Programme: Suitable for B.Tech / Non-B.tech Working professionals with experience in quality deptt.
  • 10. SEMI SKILLED TOOL AND DIE MAKER Total of 120 Hrs. A general 12 hrs a week training has been designed. Thus it is a 10 week course. Timing and duration can be modified as per mutual discussion between the Institute and our centre
  • 11. Special Features of the course • Course is designed with Industry-Integrated approach to give industry like exposure to students with 70% practical training. • Live projects involve manufacturing of tools and dies by the trainees themselves. This shall immensely boost the confidence of students to work in actual industry. • The course is designed to be taught in teams to help build teamwork which is the core of working in an industry. • Course also includes motivational and behavioural classes to help students develop a professional attitude before entering an industry. • After the placement, free customised orientation program for the employing industry can be conducted to help both student and the Industry in customising students training to suit the needs of that particular industry. This will also reduce time of adjusting the employee as per the industry needs by atleast ten folds.
  • 12. Industry-Integrated Machine Operator Total 90 Hrs course divided into 12 weeks with 8hrs a week.
  • 13. Special features of the Course • Course is designed with Industry-Integrated approach to give industry like exposure to students with 70% practical training. • Live projects cum practice sessions on live products. • Autonomous maintenance included. • Training given on production and quality reports. • Training on industry ethics and behavioral aspect.
  • 15. SALIENT FEATURES FOR THE COURSE: • Basic System Requirements with overview of ISO/TS 16949 • Basic Analytical Skills required for the Industry • Industrial ethics and behavioural aspect with mock practices • Using the power of MS Excel in Industry • 7QC Tools with Practical Project • Basic Industrial concepts like 5S, Kaizen and lean overview • Overview of APQP and PPAP with hands on experience • Detailed PFD, PFMEA and Control Plan • Problem Solving (DMAIC Approach) with case study analysis.
  • 16. Optional Extra Learnings (For B.Tech (0-1 yrs) experience) • Overview of Line Quality (Use of Inspection Instruments, Drawing Reading, Report Making) with live development project. • Overview of Basic Tool Room machinery. (Live projects available) • Basic AUTO-CAD. • Profile Upgradation and Career Guidance • Opportunity to apply for placements and internships

Placement Opportunities • Our Aim is to provide employment to all trainees. • Associated with various organisations like ‘IamSme of India’, ‘FSIA’ which have a network of more than 100 industries. Thus giving a great opportunity for placement. • SSDRC has its own Entrepreneurship cell to enable the capable trainees to start their own businesses.
  • 18. SSDRC Entrepreneurship Cell • SSDRC is an initiative by entrepreneurs from different fields and thus promotes entrepreneurship in principle. • It promotes trainees who are willing and capable of managing their own business by providing technical, legal as well as monetary assistance. • It helps trainees willing to start their career as an entrepreneur in analysis of business plan and marketing. • SSDRC also has a division of research, thus giving ample opportunities of new and creative ideas for entrepreneurs to start their businesses.

SSDRC (Research Division) • SSDRC has its own research division to promote the technology for MSME’s • SSDRC consists of team of IITians and experts from various fields with a wide exposure of concept of different countries. • We have experts from mechanical, electrical and automation background to strengthen the research division.
