KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF
PMKVY 2.0
 India’s largest skill certification scheme
budget allocation of 12K crores.
 Approval for 4 years (2016-20) to skill 1
crore youths in 4 years.
 All centers would be required to
successfully undergo the center
accreditations and affiliations process as
defined in SOP documents.
 Trainings shall be provided only at the
approved centers as defined in the scheme.
 Biometric devices for capturing students
and trainers’attendance (Aadhaar enabled)
shall be mandatory at the PMKVY centers.www.margeducation.com

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF
PMKVY 2.0
 The payouts will be made through bank
transfer to the beneficiaries and TPs accounts
as applicable under the Common Norms.
 Every certified candidate will be mapped to
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
(PMSBY). Candidates will have the insurance
clause mentioned on their respective PMKVY
certificates. TPs would be responsible for
paying the insurance fee for every enrolled
candidate in their respective batch.
 Only accredited AND affiliated TCs are
allowed to start operations or commencing
training to trainees as per NSQF under
Government funded skill developmentwww.margeducation.com

only for the states of North-East region and J&K -
Additional IDs may be added from time to time).
 Any other criteria, as defined by the SSCs for the
respective job roles.
 College students should not be allowed or enrolled under
PMKVY as the Scheme focuses on school/college
dropouts. Additionally, in case of corporate or factory
premises, candidates cannot be their own employees or
daily wagers.

OTHER KEY NOTES:
 Continuous monitoring of TC by
inspection agency appointed by NSDC-
MOSDE.
 TC to submit monthly self-audit report
(SAR) by uploading online.
 TC should not be carrying out any other
business operations in same premises
using same resources.
 Center should be as per Accreditation
Grading Metrics.
 Center Inspection will be conducted by awww.margeducation.com

The per candidate base costs for different
sectors will be either INR 28.9, INR 34.7 or INR
40.4 Per hour as per the trainings in various job
roles/sectors.
Payouts will be directly transferred to
stakeholder’s bank account as defined in Table.

placement support would be provided directly
to the candidates at the rate of INR 1450 per
month for the duration mentioned in Table.

 Obtain affiliation of respective job
roles from the concerned sector
skill council;
 Allotment of target by NSDC;
 Enrolment of students;
 Conduct training, assessment,
certification and
placement/entrepreneurship;

 The Centre must be at good location and
must have some prior experience in Skill
Development.
 If centre must have registration proof
 The organization must have got its
financials audited and all compliance
complied with.
 The centre should have parking space &
near to Bus Stop /Railway station.
 The Centre must have built up area of at
