A trade-off design of microstrip broadband power amplifier for UHF applications IJECEIAES
In this paper, the design of a Broadband Power Amplifier for UHF applications is presented. The proposed BPA is based on ATF13876 Agilent active device. The biasing and matching networks both are implemented by using microstrip transmission lines. The input and output matching circuits are designed by combining two broadband matching techniques: a binomial multi-section quarter wave impedance transformer and an approximate transformation of previously designed lumped elements. The proposed BPA shows excellent performances in terms of impedance matching, power gain and unconditionally stability over the operating bandwidth ranging from 1.2 GHz to 3.3 GHz. At 2.2 GHz, the large signal simulation shows a saturated output power of 18.875 dBm with an output 1-dB compression point of 6.5 dBm of input level and a maximum PAE of 36.26%.

ESTIMATION AND COMPENSATION OF INTER CARRIER INTERFERENCE IN WIMAX PHYSICAL L...ijngnjournal
WiMAX is Wireless Interoperability for Microwave Access has emerged as a promising solution for transmission of higher data rates for fixed and mobile applications. IEEE 802.16d and e are the standards proposed by WiMAX group for fixed and mobile. As the wireless channel have so many limitation Such as Multipath, Doppler spread, Delay spread and Line Of Sight (LOS)/Non Line Of Sight (NLOS) components. To attain higher data rates the Multi Carrier System with Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) is incorporated in the WiMAX. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a multi carrier technique used with the WiMAX systems. In OFDM the available spectrum is split into numerous narrow band channels of dissimilar frequencies to achieve high data rate in a multi path fading environment. And all these sub carriers are considered to be orthogonal to each other. As the number of sub carriers is increased there is no guarantee of sustained orthogonality, i.e. at some point the carriers are not
independent to each other, and hence where the orthogonality can be loosed which leads to interference and also owing to the synchronization between transmitter and receiver local oscillator, it causes interference known as Inter Carrier Interference (ICI). The systems uses MIMO-OFDM will suffer with the effects of ICI and Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) “ε”. However these affect the power leakage in the midst of sub carriers, consequently degrading the system performance. In this paper a new approach is proposed in order to reduce the ICI caused in WiMAX and improve the system performance. In this scheme at the transmitter side the modulated data and a few predefined pilot symbols are mapped onto the non
neighboring sub carriers with weighting coefficients of +1 and -1. With the aid of pilot symbols the frequency offset is exactly estimated by using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) and hence can be minimized. At demodulation stage the received signals are linearly combined along with their weighted
coefficients and pilot symbols, called as Pilot Aided Self Cancellation Method (PASCS). And also to realize the various wireless environments the simulations are carried out on Stanford University Interim (SUI) channels. The simulation results shows that by incorporating this method into WiMAX systems it performs better when the Line Of Sight (LOS) component is present in the transmission and also it improves the Bit Error Rate (BER) and Carrier to Interference Ratio (CIR). The CIR can be improved 20 dB. In this paper the effectiveness of PASCS scheme is compared with the Self Cancellation Method (SCM). It provides accurate estimation of frequency offset and when residual CFO is less significant the ICI can be diminished successfully.

Channel Estimation Techniques in MIMO-OFDM LTE SystemsCauses and Effects of C...IJERA Editor
There is an increasing demand for high data transmission rates with the evolution of the very large scale integration (VLSI) technology. The multiple input multiple output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) systems are used to fulfill these requirements because of their unique properties such as high spectral efficiency, high data rate and resistance towards multipath propagation. MIMO-OFDM systems are finding their applications in the modern wireless communication systems like IEEE 802.11n, 4G and LTE. They also offer reliable communication with the increased coverage area. The bottleneck to the MIMO-OFDM systems is the estimation of the channel state information (CSI). This can be estimated with the help of any one of the Training Based, Semiblind and Blind Channel estimation algorithms. This paper presents various channel estimation algorithms, optimization techniques and their effective utilization in MIMO-OFDM for modern wireless LTE systems.
Abstract –The energy efficiency has become more important in MIMO wireless communication system in recent days. The antennas at each end of the communications circuit are combined to minimize errors and optimize data speed. In Multiple Input Multiple Output Time Division Duplexing (MIMO TDD), by assuming reciprocity property the downlink transmission is based on uplink channel estimation. When more uplink pilot power ensures more accurate channel estimation and better downlink performance, it achieves higher energy consumption of mobile users. Link adaptation scheme uses different modulation schemes for different communication link quality. From the result of MIMO TDD, it ensures high Bit Error Rate.MIMO schemes are usually incorporated intoOFDM systems. The spatial and frequencyresource can be jointly allocated to improve EE.However, the complexity of the joint design may be prohibitive. This system is effective, in addition to that it also needs simple algorithms like energy efficiency optimization power allocation (EEOPA) algorithm of multiuser multiple input and multiple output (MU-MIMO) systems in order to obtain a trade-offbetween complexity and performance.
Performance analysis of massive multiple input multiple output for high speed...IJECEIAES
This paper analytically reviews the performance of massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system for communication in highly mobility scenarios like high speed Railways. As popularity of high speed train increasing day by day, high data rate wireless communication system for high speed train is extremely required. 5G wireless communication systems must be designed to meet the requirement of high speed broadband services at speed of around 500 km/h, which is the expected speed achievable by HSR systems, at a data rate of 180 Mbps or higher. Significant challenges of high mobility communications are fast time-varying fading, channel estimation errors, doppler diversity, carrier frequency offset, inter carrier interference, high penetration loss and fast and frequent handovers. Therefore, crucial requirement to design high mobility communication channel models or systems prevails. Recently, massive MIMO techniques have been proposed to significantly improve the performance of wireless networks for upcoming 5G technology. Massive MIMO provide high throughput and high energy efficiency in wireless communication channel. In this paper, key findings, challenges and requirements to provide high speed wireless communication onboard the high speed train is pointed out after thorough literature review. In last, future research scope to bridge the research gap by designing efficient channel model by using massive MIMO and other optimization method is mentioned.
Wimax technology has reshaped the framework of broadband wireless internet
service. It provides the internet service to unconnected or detached areas such as east South
Africa, rural areas of America and Asia region. Full duplex helpers employed with one of
the relay stations selection and indexing method that is Randomized Distributed Space Time
are used to expand the coverage area of primary Wimax station. The basic problem was
identified at cell edge due to weather conditions (rain, fog), insertion of destruction because
of multiple paths in the same communication channel and due to interference created by
other users in that communication. It is impractical task for the receiver station to decode
the transmitted signal successfully at the cell edges, which increases the high packet loss and
retransmissions. But Wimax is a outstanding technology which is used for improving the
quality of internet service and also it offers various services like Voice over Internet
Protocol, Video conferencing and Multimedia broadcast etc where a little delay in packet
transmission can cause a big loss in the communication. Even setup and initialization of
another Wimax station nearer to each other is not a good alternate, where any mobile
station can easily handover to another base station if it gets a strong signal from other one.
But in rural areas, for few numbers of customers, installation of base station nearer to each
other is costlier task. In this review article, we present a scheme using R-DSTC technique to
choose and select helpers (relay nodes) randomly to expand the coverage area and help to
mobile station as a helper to provide secure communication with base station. In this work,
we use full duplex helpers for better utilization of bandwidth.
An Efficient Wireless Backhaul Utilizing MIMO Transmission and IPT ForwardingCSCJournals
Wireless backhaul has been received much attention as an enabler of future broadband mobile communication systems because it can reduce deployment cost of pico-cells, an essential part of high capacity system. A high performance network, high throughput, low average delay and low packet loss rate, is highly appreciated to sustain the increasing proliferation in multimedia transmissions. The critical issue reducing the performance of wireless backhaul is the interference occurred in the network due to simultaneous nodes transmissions. In this research, we propose a high performance wireless backhaul using the low interference sensitivity MIMO based nodes. MIMO transmission has a better BER performance over SISO one even with the same transmission rate and bandwidth, which means that MIMO can operate at lower SINR values than SISO and give the same performance. This MIMO robust performance against interference gives us a greater benefit when adopted as a wireless interface in wireless backhaul than SISO. These facts motivated us to use the IEEE 802.11n the current MIMO standard to design a MIMO based wireless backhaul. In addition and to justify our assumptions, we investigate the effect of MIMO channels correlation, a major drawback in MIMO transmission, upon the system performance, and prove the robustness of the scheme under different MIMO channels correlation values. After proving the effectiveness of MIMO as a wireless interface for wireless backhaul, we further improve the performance of this MIMO-backhaul using the high efficient Intermittent Periodic Transmit (IPT) forwarding protocol. IPT is a reduced interference packet forwarding protocol with a more efficient relay performance than conventional method in which packets are transmitted continuously form the source nodes. By using these two techniques (IEEE 802.11n (MIMO) + IPT), wireless backhaul nodes can meet more demanding communication requirements such as higher throughput, lower average delay, and lower packet dropping rate than those achieved by simply applying IEEE 802.11n to conventionally relayed backhaul. The proposed wireless backhaul will accelerate introduction of picocell based mobile communication systems.

Performance Enhancement in SU and MU MIMO-OFDM Technique for Wireless Communi...IJECEIAES
The consistent demand for higher data rates and need to send giant volumes of data while not compromising the quality of communication has led the development of a new generations of wireless systems. But range and data rate limitations are there in wireless devices. In an attempt to beat these limitations, Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) systems will be used which also increase diversity and improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of wireless systems. They additionally increase the channel capacity, increase the transmitted data rate through spatial multiplexing, and/or reduce interference from other users. MIMO systems therefore create a promising communication system because of their high transmission rates without additional bandwidth or transmit power and robustness against multipath fading. This paper provides the overview of Multiuser MIMO system. A detailed review on how to increase performance of system and reduce the bit error rate (BER) in different fading environment e.g. Rayleigh fading, Rician fading, Nakagami fading, composite fading.
Multicarrier modulation can be implemented by using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) to achieve utmost bandwidth exploitation and soaring alleviation attributes profile besides multipath fading. To support delay sensitive and band bandwidth demanding multimedia applications and internet services, MIMO in addition with other techniques can be used to achieve high capacity and reliability. To obtain high spatial rate by transmitting data on several antennas by using MIMO with OFDM results in reducing error recovery features and the equalization complexities arise by sending data on varying frequency levels. Three parameters frequency OFDM, Spatial (MIMO) and time (STC) can be used to achieve diversity in MIMO-OFDM. This technique is dynamic and well-known for services of wireless broadband access. MIMO if used with OFDM is highly beneficial for each scheme and provides high throughput. There are several space time block codes to exploit MIMO OFDM; one of the techniques is called Alamouti Codes. The paper investigates adaptive Alamouti Codes and their application in IEEE 802.11n.

BROAD UNEXPOSED SKILLS OF TRANSGENDER ENTREPRENEURSIAEME Publication
Since ages gender difference is always a debatable theme whether caused by nature, evolution or environment. The birth of a transgender is dreadful not only for the child but also for their parents. The pain of living in the wrong physique and treated as second class victimized citizen is outrageous and fully harboured with vicious baseless negative scruples. For so long, social exclusion had perpetuated inequality and deprivation experiencing ingrained malign stigma and besieged victims of crime or violence across their life spans. They are pushed into the murky way of life with a source of eternal disgust, bereft sexual potency and perennial fear. Although they are highly visible but very little is known about them. The common public needs to comprehend the ravaged arrogance on these insensitive souls and assist in integrating them into the mainstream by offering equal opportunity, treat with humanity and respect their dignity. Entrepreneurship in the current age is endorsing the gender fairness movement. Unstable careers and economic inadequacy had inclined one of the gender variant people called Transgender to become entrepreneurs. These tiny budding entrepreneurs resulted in economic transition by means of employment, free from the clutches of stereotype jobs, raised standard of living and handful of financial empowerment. Besides all these inhibitions, they were able to witness a platform for skill set development that ignited them to enter into entrepreneurial domain. This paper epitomizes skill sets involved in trans-entrepreneurs of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State and is a groundbreaking determination to sightsee various skills incorporated and the impact on entrepreneurship.

Living in 21st century in itself reminds all of us the necessity of police and its administration. As more and more we are entering into the modern society and culture, the more we require the services of the so called ‘Khaki Worthy’ men i.e., the police personnel. Whether we talk of Indian police or the other nation’s police, they all have the same recognition as they have in India. But as already mentioned, their services and requirements are different after the like 26th November, 2008 incidents, where they without saving their own lives has sacrificed themselves without any hitch and without caring about their respective family members and wards. In other words, they are like our heroes and mentors who can guide us from the darkness of fear, militancy, corruption and other dark sides of life and so on. Now the question arises, if Gandhi would have been alive today, what would have been his reaction/opinion to the police and its functioning? Would he have some thing different in his mind now what he had been in his mind before the partition or would he be going to start some Satyagraha in the form of some improvement in the functioning of the police administration? Really these questions or rather night mares can come to any one’s mind, when there is too much confusion is prevailing in our minds, when there is too much corruption in the society and when the polices working is also in the questioning because of one or the other case throughout the India. It is matter of great concern that we have to thing over our administration and our practical approach because the police personals are also like us, they are part and parcel of our society and among one of us, so why we all are pin pointing towards them.

ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIA - PROBLEMS AND ...IAEME Publication
The majority of the population in India lives in villages. The village is the back bone of the country. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Developing the rural economy is one of the key indicators towards a country’s success. Whether it be the need to look after the welfare of the farmers or invest in rural infrastructure, Governments have to ensure that rural development isn’t compromised. The economic development of our country largely depends on the progress of rural areas and the standard of living of rural masses. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Rural entrepreneurship is based on stimulating local entrepreneurial talent and the subsequent growth of indigenous enterprises. It recognizes opportunity in the rural areas and accelerates a unique blend of resources either inside or outside of agriculture. Rural entrepreneurship brings an economic value to the rural sector by creating new methods of production, new markets, new products and generate employment opportunities thereby ensuring continuous rural development. Social Entrepreneurship has the direct and primary objective of serving the society along with the earning profits. So, social entrepreneurship is different from the economic entrepreneurship as its basic objective is not to earn profits but for providing innovative solutions to meet the society needs which are not taken care by majority of the entrepreneurs as they are in the business for profit making as a sole objective. So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. Indian government has made some steps towards development of social enterprises, social entrepreneurship, and social in- novation, but a lot remains to be improved.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

1. INTRODUCTION
WI-MAX tools or technology supports IEEE 802.16 and it is a telecommunication
protocol giving full access to mobile net worldwide. WI-MAX technology does
numerous functions at a time such as contribution high speed internet, provided that
phone services like transformation of information, video streaming voice application
etc. In the OFDM transmission systems, each and every frame is moderated below the
selective bandwidth and high speed fading channel. The system shows can also be
varied very across the subcarriers, based on the input data stream. Supposing the
comparable fixed transmission systems are compulsory for each OFDM subcarrier,
the probabilities of receiving errors is repressed by OFDM subcarrier with higher
order modulation, resulting in deficient performances. Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing (OFDM) is functional in this project according to the IEEE 802.16
standard, which permits Transmission of data rates from 6Mbps up to 54Mbps.
Distinct modulation schemes as Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK), Quadrate Phase
Shift Keying (QPSK) and M-array Quadrature Amplitude modulation (M-QAM) are
used according to differing Data Rates for Signal visualization at each block of
Transceiver. Simulation is carried to measure Bit Error Rate (BER), Symbol error rate
& to measure number of data bits, coded bits in OFDM symbol by using different
modulation & Code rate. Pre implementation simulation for WI-MAX system is
developed to decrease system cost & to recover active utilization with inadequate
properties.
The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a multiplexing
method that boundaries a channel with a higher comparative data rate into numerous
orthogonal sub-channels with a lower data rate. For high data rate transmissions, the
symbol duration Ts is short. Then ISI due to multipath broadcast misrepresents the
received signal, if the symbol durations are smaller as the maximum delay of the
channel. To moderate this effect a narrowband channel is needed, but for high data
rates a broadband channel is needed. Figure.1 shows a WI-MAX model with base
station.

To overawe this difficult the total bandwidth can be divided into numerous
Parallel narrowband subcarriers. Thus a block of N serial data symbols with Duration
Ts is transformed into a block of N parallel data symbols, each with Duration T =
N×Ts. The goal is that the new symbol duration of each subcarrier is superior to the
maximum delay of the channel, T > T max. With many low data rate subcarriers at the
same time, a higher data rate is attained. In order to make the OFDM symbol a serial
to parallel block is used to convert N serial data symbols into N parallel data symbols.
Then each parallel data symbol is moderated with different orthogonal frequency
subcarriers, and added to an OFDM symbol. Since wireless communications systems
are vulnerable to multi-path channel reflections, a cyclic prefix is additional to
decrease ISI. A cyclic prefix is a recurrence of the first unit of a symbol that is added
to the end of the symbol. In adding, it is significant because it allows multi-path
representations of the original signal to fade so that they do not interfere with the
subsequent symbol.

2. PROBLEM STATEMENT
The Mobile WI-MAX, in the earlier insufficient years has become one of the most
important technologies because it has the ability to provide users with a high speed
wireless connection in a Metropolitan Area Network. Mobility brings with it the need
of handovers which occur when a user moves from one cell to the other. Handover is
considered as a highly important issue in mobile WI-MAX. Mobile WI-MAX holds a
clear advantage over these technologies as it offers much higher data rates and a wider
transmission range, but the handover related issues must be resolved to allow WI-
MAX to compete in the market and fulfill its potential.
3. SYSTEM MODEL
The general system block diagram is given in Figure.3. where each of the three main
blocks are Transmitter, Channel, and Receiver.

Figure 3 System Block Diagram.
Transmitter: The equiprobable binary data bits b from the information source are
passed through the channel encoder. The encoded bits are then interleaved before
being converted to symbols (the modulation block) and transmitted through the
channel. Better results can be obtained by optimizing the inter-laver with respect to
the channel time variations, however. By performing channel coding and interleaving,
we can benefit from some degree of channel time diversity, which depends on the
channel coherence interval and the frame length chosen for data transmission.
Channel: Let us denote by hx and hy the large-scale and small-scale irradiance
fluctuations, respectively. hx and hy are assumed to be statistically independent and
described by a gamma distribution. Based on these assumptions, the intensity
fluctuation h = hxhy has a ΓΓ distribution with the probability density function (PDF)
as follows [9].
Here, α and β are the effective numbers of large-scale and small-scale eddies of
the scattering environment, respectively, and Kα(x) is the modified Bessel function of
the second kind and order α. Assuming plane wave propagation that is valid for
relatively long-range applications, as well as turbulent eddies of zero inner scale,
these parameters can be directly related to the atmospheric conditions.

x and σ 2
y denote the variances of hx and hy, respectively, and χ 2

L 11/6
is the Rytov variance. Here, k = 2π/λ is the wave number
with λ the wavelength, and L is the link distance. Also, C 2
n stands for the index of
refraction structure parameter.
Receiver: At the receiver, after signal detection (the demodulator block) and de-
interleaving, channel decoding is performed. The demodulation is performed based on

the received signal light intensity. The electrical signal after the optical/electrical
conversion is:
where I is the received signal light intensity, Ia is the remaining ambient light
intensity after frequency and spatial filtering, and η is the optical/electrical conversion
efficiency. Also, n is the sum of thermal, dark, and shot noise. We assume that the
ambient light can be almost perfectly cancelled. So, after the cancellation of the
ambient light, the received signal before demodulation is:
We suppose that the receiver is thermal noise limited, and consider n as a zero-
mean Gaussian Additive Noise of variance σ 2
n, independent of the signal I.
Let Ts denote the symbol duration and N 0 the noise unilateral power spectral density.
Taking into account the low-pass filtering of bandwidth 1/2Ts after photo-detection,
the noise variance equals σ 2
n = N 0/2Ts. We further consider the received signal
intensity I as the product of I 0, the emitted light intensity, and h, the channel
atmospheric turbulence with the PDF given in (1): I=hIo. The demodulator provides at
its output logarithmic likelihood ratios (LLR) on the transmitted bits instead of hard
values 0 or 1 (see Section 3 for more details). In other words, we perform soft signal
detection. As we will explain in Section 4, in most cases, we perform soft-input soft-
output (SISO) channel decoding, because as it is well known, soft decoding provides
a better performance, compared to hard-decoding [10]. In such a case, the LLRs at the
output of the demodulator are fed to the channel decoder, which in turn, provides
LLRs on the information data bits at its output.
4. PROPOSED IMPLEMENTATION
The Modulation techniques used are, Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) and
Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK). BPSK gives Less Probability of error and
need a complicated synchronizing circuit at the receiver for generation of local
carrier. Ambiguity in the output signal because use square law device in receiver side.
In QPSK for the same bit error rate, the BW required by QPSK is reduced to half as
compared to BPSK. Because of reduced BW, the information transmission rate of
QPSK is higher. Variation in QPSK amplitude is not much. Hence carrier power
almost remains constant. The projected impression is to first splitting the conservative
signal that is going for FFT, into two fragments. Once this each part is Fourier
changed and then the outputs are collective together. Consider a system with ‘n’
number of signals waiting for Fourier change at the receiver. These ‘n’ signals are
split into two equal parts of length ‘n/2’. Each signal is passed complete Fourier alter.
It will result in two orders each of length ‘n’. These signs will be then added to create
the final distorted signal. After the demodulation of the more signal the predictable
bits are compared with the conveyed bits. Let us assume that the frequency offset is
a fraction of subcarrier design i.e.
Also, for simplifying the equations, lets us assume that the transmitted symbols on
all subcarriers, =1 . The received signal is,

can see that the amplitude of the correlation with subcarrier ‘m’ includes, Distortion

7. CONCLUSION
It is experiential that for a particular value of Bit Error Rate, SNR value for BPSK
/QPSK is lower than 16QAM and 64QAM. In the first form of WI-MAX values, the
movement was not maintained at all. Through the time developed a necessity of user
mobility, the performance of the OFDM system is compared by varying the size of
the QAM modulation. In previous work BER for 16-QAM was 0.001 at 0.25 cycle
prefix and 28 MHz and in our research, it optimized with 0.0001 with same input
parameter so that BER performance of OFDM improves with increasing size of QAM
modulation. In future, adaptive cyclic prefix length & FFT size may be used which
improves the performance much better.
