This document summarizes the activities and achievements of the Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics (CABIN). CABIN was established to conduct research, teaching and training in computational biology and agricultural bioinformatics. Some of CABIN's major achievements include starting M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in bioinformatics, establishing itself as a national facility for computational biology, and conducting numerous research studies, database/tool developments, training programs, and publishing many research publications. CABIN has made long term impacts through its educational programs and establishment as a research center, and has had short term impacts through its various projects and activities in agricultural bioinformatics and computational biology.
