IDLE TIME MEANING
 When the workers are paid on the basis of time, there may be some
difference between the time paid for and the time actually spent on
production
• In other words it is a period or duration for which workers have been
paid but they have not worked towards production in the factory 🏭
 Idle time refers to the time for which wages is paid to the workers but no
production is obtained. This situation arises only when the remuneration is
paid on the basis of time .a the same , it is also not applicable in the case
of indirect labour in whose case it is very difficult to identify . There are
number of causes for idle time
