Within this slideshow I will justify my
choices and ideas. I will mainly show
this through my research in which I
have done.

2. Our first and most important decision is to choose
the genre of music in which we are going to
choose a song and then create our music video.
The next few slides consist of mood boards of
some of the of the music our group have talked
about and their album covers, photo-shoots,
digipaks, music videos ect. This will then help us
summarise which genre we feel is most doable
within the locations/actors ect that are most
accessible for us.

After mind mapping and discussing ideas of genre of music which we could
look into when choosing our song/artist we have chosen to narrow our search
into R&B. We mind mapped (written) examples of artists within each genre
and the type of location, colour schemes, actors ect in which each genre
usually uses within videos, photo shoots ect.
We chose R&B as we feel the location in which many R&B videos are filmed
are easily accessible (Streets). The props which we will need can be very
varied therefore can be easily found. The mise-en-scene within photo shoots
which R&B artists have been part of can be very simple, and usually use dark
colours/backgrounds which again is easily doable.
