I totally have seen some drivers acting like a monk in traffic. The monk drivers tend not to feel
desperate, and usually they distract themselves with other activities. For example, my cousin used to
drive from Woodbridge to Alexandria when she studied at NOVA. Sometimes she used to get stuck in
rush hour traffic, and she used to read her lecture in the traffic. To be honest, I totally see that as a

A bus will come at 8am to take the children to and from the gym . Before the course starts I will hand
out flyers around the Cape Flat area to announce when the opening date will be, and will invite all
children who want to attend as well as their parents to an information meeting. These lessons will start
by first teaching the basics as the children will not likely have ever been involved in lessons of this

will be over a period of 10 weeks and in each week the children will be evaluated and guided. The

Members began to work more for the success of their groups and indirectly contributed to the success
of Pulse 09. Communication was not an issue anymore and meetings were held regularly. There were
times when the groups met more than once during the week to discuss individual progress. Team
meetings saw less of conflicts and more of a productive discussion that was aimed at the success of
the event. Incorporating a reward system, I guess was the key that created a sense of healthy
competition amongst the individual groups and made the members strive towards the goal. As the
event came closer, the more positive I felt about the success of Pulse 09. The last meetings focused on
bringing together the work done by individual groups. The norms remained the same and thus, the
productivity of the team as a whole too didn t seem to lessen. The event was a huge success and was

back now, I feel I could have done a better job in showcasing my leadership skills. Especially after
