Internet.

Mobile Learning
Mobile learning is learning on the go or learning on the move. The evolution
of technology has also made it possible for education to be dynamic and
explosive in its approaches. It has created an environment where teachers
and students have a more intimate relationship with curriculum content
because of realism that technology offers in the form of moving pictures, up
to date information and the ability to interact and collaborate in great
distance with partners in learning.
Mobile devices are not just telephones but also include laptops, tablets,
iPads, iPods and any electronic device that has the capability of interface
and interactive software.
this new learning approach has given birth to a new concept of classroom
without walls. The turn over of technology has seen such a device as Aptus
that brings the world to our classroom door steps.

APTUS CREATORS
COMMONWEALTH OF LEARNING (COL)
COL is an inter governmental organization
working based in Burnaby, Canada, in the
British Columbia District. They work
together with all Commonwealth and
former commonwealth countries in trying
develop access to quality education for
third world countries. Because
commonwealth and former
commonwealth countries share almost
identical Curriculum and Educational
structure, the bond creates a much
stronger and privileged community of
sharing, Open Educational Resources or
OER.

CONCLUSION
The aphorism “a rising tide lifts all boats” was famously used by
President JK Kennedy, in trying to explain the difficult economic
situation faced in the world in those days.
Today we can reflect on this again and say it is about time for Fiji to
join in the world’s effort in trying to create a Knowledge global
community.
Opportunity knocks on our door today for us to make Fiji great by
allowing our teachers and students access quality educational
resources which are made available through ICT in Education,
methods that are equitable, accessible and affordable, whether
you are located in urban, semi urban, rural or remote rural area,
we have close to no barriers, let us not wait any longer, but rise
and commit to doing this and joining our global communities.
