2. Ensuring that password reset done using correct option
Login Type 1
If you get a pop-up to enter your password
Once you enter your registered
email Id and click on Continue
Login Type 2
If you do not get a pop-up to enter your password
3. Ensuring password correctness
While entering the password, ensure that you are:
- Entering the password without any spelling errors
- Using the correct case as the passwords are case (upper case/lower case)
sensitive
- Not entering the ‘0’ (zero) instead of ‘O’ (alphabet)
- Correctly entering all the special characters used while creating the password
- Entering the password in the correct sequence and have not jumbled the
same

for login type 1

Enter your registered email Id or mobile number and
click on Continue
Follow these steps to reset your password-
Click on ‘Forgot Password’
6. Call on the given number and press 1, you will receive
the password reset link via SMS
Ensure you call using the registered mobile number
Sellers who use their registered mobile number
to login
Sellers who use their registered email
ID to login
Click on ‘click here’ and follow the next steps

7. Enter you registered email id here and click “Send reset
password link”
Ensure there are no spelling errors
If your account is linked with a mobile number then the
Reset Password link will be sent to the mobile number
else to your email ID from care@paytm.com
