3. How to start the registration process?
Registering as a
seller is a very
simple process.
Enter your E-mail
ID and Phone
Number and click
Start Selling.
You will receive a
mail with a
verification link.
Click on the link to
verify your email ID

4. • Your E-mail ID and
Phone Number will be
populated from your
previous page
• Fill in your Name, E-mail
ID, Password and Phone
Number in the
respective fields
Setting up your account
• Please provide a correct 10 digit number that is serviceable
• Once you click on Send OTP you will receive a 6 digit code on the given mobile number.
Make sure you enter this in the OTP field to verify your phone number

5. Enter your pick-
up pin code to
determine if your
location is
serviceable by
our shipping
partners.

6. Fill in the
subsequent fields
with your pickup
address and click
on the Submit
button.

7. In this section you need to
fill in your store details
which includes your store
name, store details etc.
In this section you need to fill
in your bank details, A/C
number, IFSC code, and
upload scanned copy of
cancelled cheque and address
proof.
In this section you need to fill in your business details such
as your registered company name, PAN, TIN, TAN etc and
upload scanned copies of the same. Please note, TIN is
mandatory for selling any category except books.

8. • Fill in the respective fields
to update the details
about your business
• Business type can be
either a Proprietor or a
Company. In case type is a
company, you will have to
provide business PAN
details and upload the
corresponding document
as well
• You should also update
the scanned copies of
PAN, TIN and TAN
documents as applicable

Note: The fields with the star mark are mandatory ones.

9. • A preview of your
PAN card will
appear on clicking
Preview option
• Same is the case
for TIN and TAN
numbers

10. Please note, TIN is
mandatory
requirement to
sell any category
except books. If
you do not have
TAN number,
select the
appropriate reason
for the same.

11. • Fill in the respective fields under
bank details to initiate bank
account verification
• You need to upload scanned copies
of cancelled cheque and address
proof to verify bank details
• Incase you are confused, what an
IFSC code is, click on “What’s this”
and a pop-up will appear with the
description
• If you do not know your IFSC code,
you can give bank details to
identify the code
• Name on the address proof should
match with the Bank account
holder name

12. • Once bank details
are submitted, a
small amount will
be transferred to
your bank account
• Once you receive
this amount, click
on “Verify” to
confirm the
transfer

13. Enter the
sample amount
in this field to
complete the
bank
verification
process.

14. • Fill in the respective fields
to update your store details
• Your display name will be
visible to buyers along with
product information, as
shown in the sample image
• You can refer to the SLC
page, if, at any point you
are confused about any of
the fields

us know your business better
• In order to go-live, it is
compulsory to fill this section
• Parallely, you can start
adding product listings to
your account.
• Minimum 10 listings are
mandatory to go active on
Flipkart.
• Your listings would
become visible once your
account becomes ACTIVE

appears when
you hover on
your name

“Manage
profile” to edit
the
subsequent
details or to
verify your
phone

17. You can edit
your Account
details
whenever you
require on this
screen.

18. You can edit the display
name before the
account is made active.
To change at a later
point, you could get in
touch with Seller
Support.
Please note that you can only change your password
here. The Login E-mail ID and Phone number, provided
during registration cannot be changed here.
Enter your Primary Contact number and E-mail ID here. This will be used by us to send you
all the communication from Flipkart.
This information is optional and you can edit this information whenever you require but you
need to verify them each time you change them.

19. Here you can
change your
password by
entering the
old and new
passwords
and
confirming it.

20. Fill in the
respective
fields to edit
your Primary
contact
number and
E-mail ID.
