Workshop Introduction
What will the participants learn?
The HR Function plays a critical role in organizational success by ensuring that an
organization has the right capability for success and growth by hiring, retaining,
rewarding and motivating the best people.
If you need to learn about the current best practices in running HR Operations then this
Workshop is for you.
Participants will be introduced to strategies, tools and processes used in Recruitment &
Selection,Training & Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Communica-
tion, Performance Management and Human Resource Information Systems.
Participants will also be introduced to mechanisms for measuring the effectiveness of
the HR function.
TheWorkshop will be highly interactive, using case studies, exercises, videos and
sharing of real-life experiences byWorkshop Leader and Participants to enhance the
Learning experience.
Participants will learn how each domain of HR works to support organizational goals
and what principal mechanisms, tools and processes are used to deliver service to
Employees and Management in each domain.
In addition, Participants will learn to use HR metrics in order to track the effectiveness
of the HR System.
They will also receive a Binder including reference materials and tools and templates
for use in their workplace.
Who Should Attend?
Ayesha Asad is a Senior HR Professional, Lecturer and trainer
in HR. She holds an MBA from the University of Leicester UK.
She also holds International Professional Certifications GPHR
and HRMP from Human Resource Certification Institute in
USA. Ayesha has headed the HR function in the UAE, Qatar,
Pakistan and Afghanistan at Alcatel-Lucent, world’s leading
TelecomVendor. She has in-depth experience in the areas of
Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management,
Learning and Development, Career Development andTalent
management & Succession planning. Ayesha has received
recognition for her successful contribution to Career Develop-
ment at Alcatel-Lucent Pakistan, her leading role in develop-
ing the Rewards harmonization plan for GCC countries for the
merger between Alcatel and Lucent as well as for her overall
commitment to driving HR strategically while balancing
employee interests and business imperatives. Ayesha has
trained Professionals seeking to enhance their skill as HR
practitioners. She has also taught management students at
leading institutions in Pakistan such as NUST Business School,
International Islamic University, Islamabad and University of
Management andTechnology, Lahore.
