Brovs Vs Romanovs
On the absolutist side you had the leaders of Spain, France, and Russia all laying claim on their areas,
and they were saying that they had absolute power and answered to no one besides themselves and
God.Then, in England there was constitutional side where there was a leader who was either voted in
or was born in to play. In England, the leader most commonly came from a royal line. The difference
in England was that the king didn t have the absolute power or say. Most events would be put up for a
vote where the parliament would have a say in what happened as they were the financial backers. In
the absolutist monarchy the disadvantage was with the peasants as they got little reward while the
biggest advantage was with the king. Take for example, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If that leader can t assure the security than others are needed and it no longer acts as an absolute

family ruled Russia making it an incredible military power. The Romanovs showcased the success of
an absolutist monarchy by being in control until 1917. In a constitutional monarchy one could say a
great advantage came in that normal people had a voice. In comparison, there is the absolutist
monarch who doesn t take anyone s vote while the constitutional monarch will hear from the
nobleman what one may hear from the peasants. Charles I felt the true strength of parliament when he
needed financial backing, and the backing would only be given when he agreed that parliament would
have a vote in ordinary taxing and unfair imprisonment. The parliament itself was made up of
nobleman as well as landowners and merchants who all wanted a say in that the parliament couldn t be
broken up when Charles didn t like what they were doing. The constitutional monarchy may have a

Ribosomes In Eukaryotic Cells
The nucleus houses most of the genes in a eukaryotic cell. The genetic instructions are housed within
a cell, and the instructions are carried out by the ribosomes. The nucleus directs protein synthesis by
synthesizing messenger RNA according to instructions provided by the DNA. The mRNA is then
transported to the cytoplasm via nuclear pores.
The main parts of the nucleus include the nuclear envelope, which encloses the nucleus and separates
it from the cytoplasm, which has an outer and an inner membrane. There is a complex of pores that
helps regulate entry and exit into the nucleus. The nuclear side of the envelope is lined by the nuclear
lamina, which helps maintain the structure of the nucleus. The DNA inside a nucleus is organized into
units called chromosomes, which is made up of chromatin, a complex of proteins and DNA. The
structures in a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They carry out protein synthesis. There are two locales free ribosomes in cytosol and bound ones to
the endoplasmic reticulum or nuclear envelope. Most proteins are made in free ribosomes.
The central dogma of biology is how proteins are made DNA transcribes RNA, then RNA forms
proteins by translation, or protein synthesis. DNA RNA Proteins.
Free ribosomes are found in the cytosol, while bound ribosomes are found attached to the side of the
endoplasmic reticulum or nuclear envelope.
The information in a gene, found on a chromosome, in the nucleus is used to synthesize an mRNA that
is transported through a nuclear pore to the cytoplasm. There it is translated into a protein, which is
transported back through a nuclear pore into the nucleus, where it joins other proteins and DNA,
forming chromatin.
The transport vesicles move membranes and substances that they enclose between other components
of the endomembrane system. They are sacs made of membrane that helps transport

The Theme Of Happiness In Dandelion Wine By Ray Bradbury
Happiness is something that people all over the world strive for each day; it is even some s ultimate
goal in life. There are many different philosophies on how to achieve and maintain happiness, but no
two people are precisely alike on their journey. Nonetheless, there is one reiterating theme found,
everybody has been given a chance at happiness. Life has never denied anyone of at least a glimpse of
the feeling. Although there will be darkness in life, happiness is perpetually found down the road. Ray
Bradbury displays this idea in his novel Dandelion Wine. The main character, Doug Spaulding, has
many instances during his summer that supports this theme. Through the loss, change, and pain Doug
both experiences and views, he can always find happiness around him and in the life he lives.
Doug experiences many instances of loss during his summer. Between the moving of his best friend to
the death of his great grandmother, Doug s life becomes very different than it was before the summer
began. These events may cause one to believe that Doug is unhappy with his life, however it is very
much the opposite. By the end of summer, Doug is very optimistic about the next summer, saying next
year s going to be even bigger, days will be brighter, nights longer and darker (Bradbury 235). Though
the very small world of his has been flipped upside down within a few months, Doug is still happy and
knows that things are only going to get better from here. One specific instance of Doug overcoming
loss is when his best friend, John Huff, moves away. After Doug sees John for the last time, Doug
blows up in a fit of rage screaming You, John! John, you re my enemy, you hear? You re no friend of
mine! (Bradbury 111). This loss was very hard on Doug because he is very young, twelve years old,
and hasn t had to deal with anything like this. After calming down, Doug moves on and is able to find
joy in life in things such as going to the local ravine, writing revelations in his journal, and spending
time with family. He becomes content with life once again.
Change is another prevalent item in Doug s summer that some might believe could hinder his
happiness. Many parts of his life that have always been there change over this

Experiment to investigate factors affecting the rate of reaction between magnesium ribbon and

Rates of Reaction: Investigation
Experiment to investigate factors affecting the rate of reaction between magnesium ribbon and
hydrochloric acid.
Chemical reactions between substances are caused by the collision of particles. More collisions mean
a quicker rate of reaction.
In the reaction between hydrochloric acid and magnesium ribbon, the chemical reaction takes place
when the magnesium ribbon is dropped into the hydrochloric acid. The products are hydrogen gas and
magnesium chloride.
The equation for this reaction is as follows:
Magnesium + Hydrochloric acid Magnesium chloride + Hydrogen
Mg (s) + 2HCL (aq) MgCl2 (aq) + ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I predict this because of collision theory.
There will be more particles in a solution of hydrochloric acid with a higher concentration than in a
lower concentration, in the same volume of liquid. This means that particles in higher concentrations
will collide with magnesium particles more frequently, therefore increasing rate of reaction i.e. a
shorter time measured for the magnesium to be used up in reaction.
I can predict that rate of reaction will increase with concentration of acid. The quicker the rate of
reaction, the less time the reaction will take to be completed.
Therefore:
Rate of reaction 1 concentration of acid
time taken to react
So...
Rate of reaction concentration
time taken to react
Plan
I am intending to react a chosen length of magnesium ribbon with different concentrations of
hydrochloric acid. I will measure the time taken for the magnesium ribbon to disappear (be used up in
reaction) with a stop clock. This will be switched on when the piece of magnesium ribbon is dropped
into the hydrochloric acid seen to be reacting with the acid i.e. producing bubbles of gas, and switched
off when the magnesium is no longer visible no more new bubbles are being produced.
Results will be recorded in a results table, with 4 readings and an average time for each concentration
value.
I will conduct a preliminary experiment to investigate the optimum length of magnesium ribbon to be
used in my experiments.

Causes Of The Greenhouse Effect
A greenhouse gas is described as any gas in the atmosphere that absorbs as well as emits radiation in
the thermal infrared range. These are the primary cause of the greenhouse effect, which results in
increased temperatures on Earth.
The greenhouse effect takes place as the gases reach Earth s surface. As the short wave energy heats
the surface, some of the longer wave energy radiates back into the atmosphere as well as back into
space. Greenhouse gases absorb some of the energy and trap it in the lower atmosphere. Less heat
radiates into space, in addition to Earth is warmer.
A lot of greenhouse gases take place naturally. Carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor, as well as
nitrous oxide are naturally present in Earth s atmosphere. Others, ... Show more content on

Also, there is much more methane (a greenhouse gas eight four times more potent than carbon dioxide
in the short term) in the atmosphere than at any time in the past eight hundred thousand years two and
a half times as much as before the Industrial Revolution. Whereas some methane is emitted naturally
from wetlands, sediments, volcanoes as well as wildfires, the majority of methane emissions come
from oil as well as gas production, livestock farming, and landfills.
Global temperatures have risen an average of 1.4˚ F since 1880. Sea ice in the Arctic has thinned as
well as decreased in the last few decades; the Greenland, in additional to Antarctic ice sheets, are
diminishing in mass. The North and South Poles are warming faster compared to anywhere else on the
globe. Glaciers are retreating on mountains all over the globe. Spring snow cover in the Northern
Hemisphere has decreased over the last 50 years.
It is infact a simple as well as a beneficial experiment to add more confirmation to support the theory
of the green house effect. The point of the display is just to show how carbon dioxide absorbs heat;
Carbon dioxide levels in Earth s atmosphere are increasing in addition to it will get warmer with time.
The set up comprises of two bottles one with CO2 whereas the one lacking. From this experiment, it is
clear that the bottle

Unexpected Inflation
Unexpected Inflation and Redistribution of Wealth in Canada
Césaire A. Meh, Canadian Economic Analysis, and Yaz Terajima, Financial Stability
One of the most important arguments in favour of price stability is that unexpected inflation generates
changes in the distribution of income and wealth among different economic agents. These
redistributions occur because many loans in the economy are specified in fixed dollar terms.
Unexpected inflation redistributes wealth from creditors to debtors by reducing the real value of
nominal assets and liabilities. This article quantifies the redistributional effects of unexpected inflation
in Canada. To this end, we first provide comprehensive evidence of the nominal assets and liabilities
of various ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Hence, when inflation is high, the value of these assets and liabilities falls in terms of purchasing
power, since the prices of other goods and services go up with inflation, but payments on these
financial claims are fixed. The extent of the changes in the purchasing power of financial assets and
liabilities also depends on the term to maturity, as we will show later on. In this section, we document
Canadian holdings by type and maturity in various categories of assets and liabilities. Specifically, we
look at asset and liability positions for three sectors: household, government, and non residents.5 We
also consider different groups of households. The objective is to show that, among these different
groups of agents, holdings of nominal assets and liabilities differ in both qualitatively and
quantitatively important ways. Given that these differences exist, there is potential for redistribution
among them following inflation shocks.
(SFS). The NBSA documents the ownership of financial and non financial assets and liabilities by
sector. We use the NBSA to compute the net asset and liability positions of the household,
government, and foreign sectors. The SFS is a household survey data set on income and wealth. We
use the 2005 wave (the latest available), involving about 5,000 households, with weights to produce
Canadian aggregates. It provides a comprehensive

The Importance Of Intellectual Property
Intellectual property is often misunderstood in the employment relationship. The protection of
intellectual property and confidential information is essential and valuable in for both employees and
employers. Employees may misuse confidential information during their employment or once their
engagement comes to an end. It is vital that employers take all necessary measures to prevent
intellectual property infringement. Disputes over ownership of intellectual property are likely to arise
between employees and employers however this essay will discuss the numerous ways to reduce the
likelihoods of it occurring. Simple measures can be extremely beneficial for a business and there are
three major aspects that employers should focus on in order to prevent IP infringement and these
include employee intake, employment contract and employee exit interviews. The chances of
intellectual property theft have increased significantly in recent years due to new technologies and the
internet. This essay will discuss why and how employers can protect their business when or if the
employment relationship breakdown or ceases.
World International Property Organisation (WIPO) refers to intellectual property as creations of the
mind: inventions; literary and artistic works; and symbols, names and images used in commerce .
Intangible assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and tradesecrets are the most important
forms of intellectual property protection for any business. A patent

Internal And External Factors Of European Integration
Please think about the interference of internal (European) and external (global) factors, shaping
European integration? How were they related? Give one or two examples! In a very broad sense, the
ideas of a unified Europe can be found throughout centuries preceeding the World War II: Byzantine
Empire, Roman Empire, French Empire, Nazi Germany and others whose common feature is unity
imposed on people by force. A more peaceful unification was achieved through poltical marriage: In a
very general sense, we can find the »European spirit« emerging in the ages of Perikleanean Athens
(480 430 B.C.) and later during the era of the Roman Empire (100 B.C. 100). The idea was renewed
during the Middle Ages through the Sacrum Imperium Romanum and the consideration about the

The rise in living standards targeted by the Rome Treaty made those nations, chiefly of the South and
the Scandinavians, see the benefits of integration for their economies and this remained a key selling
point right up to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 1991 when the former Eastern Bloc states were
equally keen to join the EC. From the internal perspective, Western European states found themselves
in relations of mutual dependence after World War II. But this dependence was not in compliance with
the centrifugal character of their sovereignty. The pressure of common needs and interests finally
stimulated the recognition of Western European states, that the principle of the national sovereignty
already exhausted its utility. States were forced to limit their sovereignty rights and move them to the
supranational organisations It was important, especially for the French, that Germany be contained
and controlled. The ECSC brought these two nations together with shared resources and has led to

Telecommunication Is The Electronic Transmission Of...
1. Introduction Telecommunications is the electronic transmission of signals used for communication
sent via means of telephone, radio, and television. The importance of telecommunication in business is
that it removes delays created by time and distance. With the proper setup it is possible for a company
to communicate with any business and affiliates quickly just about anywhere in the world. To fully
understand telecommunications it is important to understand the characteristics of telecommunication,
network types, and the medium used in telecommunications. 2. Abstract Basic telecommunication
characteristics are the medium that carries transmitted messages from point A to point B . There is the
simplex channel which is a communications channel that transmits data in one direction only, this
particular channel is not advantages for business due to its one way nature. There is the half duplex
channel which can move that data to multiple locations, however it cannot move them all at the same
time, in a company where speed is needed this may not be the best. Then there is the full duplex
channel which is similar to having two simplex channels, this one permits data to go both ways and
multiple flows to move at the same time. A fourth option is broadband, which is communication
channel bandwidth, and in general broadband simply means that it can move data and information at
high speeds, in recent times the larger the business the more bandwidth is needed to keep

English Case Law on Piercing the Corporate Veil
Piercing the corporate veil is a term that is commonly used in corporate law to refer to cases in which
the limited liability of the Corporation becomes unlimited to be able to impose certain responsibilities
either to the particular Corporation or to the shareholders of a corporation. The idea of piercing the
corporate veil has been the answer to social problems that come form the principle that corporations
have limited liability. When studying limited liability in the United Kingdom it can be found that the
topic is regulated by case law. According to what the court has said there are two main events in which
the veil can be pierced. This is either when the corporation is created to evade existing obligations, or
when a single economic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In respect to what has just been explained there appears to be a sense between the courts concepts.
They started with a simple concept of the previous existing obligations and evolved through the cases
to the concept of the façade. The problem of this way in which the court has evolved, is that the
concept of the façade is not clear enough. Even though it has been developed in some cases, a clear
concept or definition of what the court means by façade has not been made. The definitions that have
been made are pure inductions that the academics like Kershaw make of the cases.
The other main event in which the court gives place to lift the corporate veil is in the case of the
existence of a single economic unit. This means that a group of two or more corporations (being one
the parent one) work as a single one, even though they are different companies a separate business
operation does not exist. The most important cases that are taken into account when referring to this
circumstance are DHN Food Distributors v Tower Hamlets LBC (1976) (case 1), Woolfson v
Strathclyde Regional Council (1978) (case 2) and Adams v Cape Industries Plc (1990) (case 3). In
both, case 1 and 2 the court in accordance to the facts decides that the veil should be lifted, but it does
it for different reasons. In case 1 the judges decide to lift the veil because of the

Besides the fact that he conquered Moscow, the Russians did not surrender. Instead, they burned the
city before the French got there, so the shelter and supplies that Napoleon was counting on were
destroyed. So, his army had to retreat back to Germany, while being chased and hunted by the
Russians. The whole Russian campaign ended up as a complete failure. He lost almost all of his
500,000 men that he had started with. In 1810, he divorced Josephine and married the daughter of the
Austrian Emperor, Marie Louise, in a last attempt to improve relations. Upon his return to France, the
Prussians, Russians, Swedish, and the British started the War of Liberation against him. His army was
soon forced over the Rhine at the Battle of Leipzig. However, the allied armies did not accept the plan
and they demanded that the brother of Louis XVI, Louis XVIII, be put on the throne. Napoleon was
sent to rule the Island of Elba in 1813 with the British Navy guarding the Island. But, in 1815, he
returned to Paris and his old armies quickly gathered around him, already sick of the new king. The
allies were threatening to invade France again since they heard of the return of Napoleon, so he
quickly organized a new army and marched them into Belgium to meet the British and Prussian
armies. In Ligny, he defeated the Prussians and then marched to Waterloo to meet the British under
Wellington. At first, he was doing well in the battle.

Labyrinth In Theseus
Confrontation With The Unconscious in Theseus
The journey to self awareness is one of great challenge that many, unfortunately never persevere to
seeing the end of. Theseus is a story originating from Greek oral tradition. First recorded by Homer is
600 BCE, is about consciousness and how one s perception of reality and of himself can be grown and
changed. In Theseus, the hero, Theseus, leaves his home of Southern Greece, killing thieves that lay in
the path to Athens. Upon arriving, he vows to kill the minotaur of Crete, wherein he would have to
walk a trying labyrinth before he could reach the minotaur.
The labyrinth, as a metaphor, is most commonly interpreted as the mind and for life itself. Walking a
labyrinth is about the journey, not the destination. It weaves its walls in a complicated yet linear
course. It is about discovering a path that already exists, but possibly one that had otherwise not been
considered. Where the labyrinth is the mind, for Theseus, walking it is a journey of psychotherapy.
When he enters the labyrinth, he enters with the intent for violence, but in having such a long stretch
between then and reaching his goal, he is given time to reflect on his own actions and morals. Upon
entering the leaving he realizes the inhumanity of eye for an eye justice. Theseus entering the center of
the labyrinth is not only a shift in the path, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Juxtaposition King Lear
Essay Question: Alexander Pope has said that King Lear is a play that centre around opposition and
juxtaposition. Discuss with reference to symbolism, metaphor, motif, plot or character whether you
believe the statement is accurate.
King Lear is about the tragic events and the conflicts between fathers and their children. In the play
King Lear written by William Shakespeare has many motifs and symbolism throughout the play.
Alexander Pope was an English poet who had said King Lear is a play centered around opposition and
juxtaposition. Although there is a parallel story between King Lear and Gloucester, the motifs and
symbolism in this play contrasts from one another in different ways. I believe what Alexander Pope
has said was quite accurate because of the motifs and symbolism that affects one another with a
juxtaposition affect.
Many of the motifs and symbolism in the play are opposites from one another. One of the motifs that
happens frequently throughout the play was loyalty and betrayal. In the play Lear has three daughters
named Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia. This happened in the beginning of the play where King Lear
wanted to retire and give bigger portions of his land based on the daughter who loved him most.
Goneril and Regan praised their love for Lear but Cordelia refused to do so. In Act 1 Scene 1 (Li 101
102), Cordelia says ...I love your Majesty, according to my bond no more no less. This indicates that
although Cordelia loves Lear very dearly she refused to lie to get land from her father. Unlike her
sisters who have boasted about their love for Lear who they don t love him to that extent and lies. It
seems as if Cordelia is the sign of betrayal but Cordelia is actually a sign of loyalty because she
refuses to love her father in such a way of getting inheritance where Cordelia wants to love her father
in a genuine way. She represents loyalty and honesty to her father in this part of the play. While
Goneril and Regan represents the lies and foreshadows the sign of betrayal. These two signs are
opposites from one another and it creates a juxtaposition affect. Not only does this part of the play
represent betrayal, loyalty, lies and honesty but it also has a sign of sight. The reason is because

Representative Democracy In America
Many people believe that America is a democracy; these people are not wrong; however, the more
accurate term would be a representative democracy . The reason behind this is, as opposed to every
citizen going to the polls and voting on each public issue, we have elected officials that vote based on
their constituents preferences. Since it is the people that elect these representatives, it is critical that
public opinion be taken into consideration. However, regardless of how we gather our data, bias often
makes it difficult to accurately gauge public opinion. Public opinion can be defined as the collective
opinion of many people on some issue. When it comes to elections, party members attempt to estimate
a candidate favorability by polling the public using different techniques such as: calling, online
surveys, panels, and exit polls. However, when trying to get the statistically most accurate result, party

invigorated in the mid 20th century with the progression of migration. In the social sciences,
Assimilation is an approach towards incorporation and amalgamation, through which, not only
immigrants but also other marginalized groups African Americans in American, women in society,
schedule castes in India are wrapped up into an integrated conventional society.
The major and foremost concern of all postmodern writers has been the life of South Asian expatriates
and the dilemma of acculturation and assimilation. Acculturation is the depressing upshot of post
modern scenario, which which Tara Benarjee has failed to learn and it is the major thing which has
created the feelings of loneliness on her return to India. Cultural assimilation brings the mixture of

Colonial Era To The Romantic Era
As America sought to create their own literary voice following the Revolutionary War, the transition
from the Colonial Era to the Romantic Era was a notable one, changing the voice of our country
throughout the 19th century. Marked by themes of individualism, idealism, and being in touch with
nature, Romanticism altered both the art and writing of the time and has certainly left a lasting impact
to this day.
Key changes observed in the artwork of the time included the used of warmer color tones and
portraits, such as the one discussed in our forum, featured women in a more relaxed position. These
modifications reflected the changing times as many people began to branch out from social norms and
make their own statement. William Cullen Bryant

Water Bottle Rocket Research Paper
Last week Kamryn and I made a water bottle rocket. We learned many things when we made it. We
learned that if you fill it all the way up with water then there will not be any room for the air and the
rocket has to have air inside of it to shoot. We also learned that you can t poke a hole in it or when you
go to put the air in it, it will go out of the hole in the bottle and not shoot. Kamryn and I shot our
rocket three times the first time we shot our rocket, and it went the highest. The second time we shot
our rocket, it went a little bit high but it did not go as high as it did the first time. The last time we shot
our rocket, we took our fins off and it shot horribly. The first time the fins were on good, the second

I Have A Rendezvous With Death Poem Analysis
The poem consists of three stanzas with different numbers of lines. It begins with the sentence, I have
a rendezvous with Death which is repeated three more times in the poem, in lines 5, 11 and 20. The
poem alludes to the realities of war in phrases such as disputed barricade, some scarred slope, and
some flaming town. Besides being a war poem, there are elements of an elegy. Generally, elegies are
written to lament over someone who has passed away. In this piece, however, the poet contemplates
on his own possible death during war. Despite the atypical aspects, the poem embodies an important
characteristic of an elegy. An elegiac poem is generally composed to laud and honor a decreased
person so that he or she will not be forgotten. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After this, there is a sharp change of mood: the speaker declares God knows, twere better to... That is,
it would be better to live, better to enjoy the experience of love. The moment of uncertainty about his
death which was present in the previous section may have led to the thought that it would be better to
avoid it. Similarly to his yearning for spring, this reveals the human and softer side of the speaker. The
reader has seen him as an utterly brave figure who fearlessly approaches Death. In spite of that, as a
human being, he still wishes for comfort and happiness. This softer side of his allows the reader to
grasp a sense of remorse and sadness and to view him as a human being not a mythical figure void of

Social Cognitive Theory Main Concepts Essay
Social Cognitive Theory Main Concepts: According to the Social Cognitive Theory, people learn by
observation and modeling behavior. Albert Bandura developed the social cognitive theory in 1986.
Bandura believes that people obtain knowledge and how to function by modeling behavior from
others by interacting with others. The main highlight of his theory is that people learn by observation,
imitation and modeling behavior within the social environment (Merriam, 2014)). Individual
remember the consequences associated with individual behavior and used this information to guide
subsequent behavior. For example, an observed action elicits an instinctive drive to model the
behavior. Although the social learning theory states that people learn by observation, learning does not
always lead to aggressive behavior. The social cognitive theory (SCT) integrates interaction between
behavior, personal factor, cognition and environment which is referred to as the reciprocal causation
model However, Bandura does not suggest that these three factors contribute to behavior (Bandura,
2012).
Andragogy:
On the other hands, andragogy is a theory developed by Malcolm Shepherd Knowles in 1980 s.
Andragogy focuses on the science of adult learning and self directive learning. The main highlights of
this approach are self concept, learner experience, readiness, orientation, and motivation. In self
concepts, as a human matures they move from being dependent towards self directed

Today I am writing essay over our Unit 4 Rhetorical Analyses class discussion. The topic was, How
do family members or friends try to persuade you? In what ways do your friends or family members
persuasive strategies differ from the ways advertisers try to persuade people? There are numerous
ways to try to persuade someone, but for me, my family, and friends they try to persuade me through
the use of pathos and ethos. Advertisers typically use techniques like scare tactics or promising the
buyer happiness in order to persuade you to buy their product. In this article I will compare the
differences between advertisers and family and friends persuasive strategies.

With the power of wealth and concentration of industry, the tremendous development in machinery,

performing a given part of the whole product, probably an infinitesimal part, doing the thing a
thousand or thousands of times over and over again in a day labor divided and subdivided and

The cabinet members in the government were mostly noblemen. The middle class had very little
influence on politics and government (Boardman 38).
In the early nineteenth century people where using labels like working classes and middle classes.
This designation was to separate people who had achieved success in commerce, industry, and other
professions. They were considered the upper class. The upper class had a great control over the
political system. This was not good for the working class and middle class because it left them no say
in the government. However, some of the more powerful middle class men pushed for the Reform Act
of 1832 and the deletion of the Corn Laws of 1846 (Wohl 1).
The high Victorian era ended toward the end of the 1860s 1870s. The year that started the late
Victorian era was 1867 when the Second Reform Bill was doubled. In this year the town workers were
starting to have some say in town government. Now what had been unraveling for decades was taking
affect. The middle class had already achieved power in government and now it was the worker s turn.
The upper class was bitter over the success that the workers were gaining, but they had no other
choice than to accept what was happening (Boardman 38).
Increased industrialization was becoming a concern of the workers. They started strikes protesting the
addition of machines because their jobs were being compromised. The only that workers were heard

Military Deception Analysis
Identifying the principles that determine the success of Denial and Deception efforts
The carrying out of every mission, rather operational or tactical is based on these six principles of
military deception:
Focus Predisposition of the Target
Timeliness Strategic Initiative
Integration Secrecy, Organization, Coordination
Security Plausibility and Confirmation of the Lie
Centralized control Adaptability
Objective The acceptance of the deception
Tools of deception (Focus, Objective, Centralized Planning and Control, Security, Timeliness, and

Democratic Presidential Debate
The race for the White House is a long and tedious process that is mobbed by campaigns events and
stump speeches, but more importantly candidates are givens the opportunity to contrast their ideas
with other candidates in televised debates. On January 17, 2016, I tuned into the Democratic
Presidential Debate that was hosted by NBC News in Charleston, SC and moderated by Lester Holt.
This debate included all three Presidential contenders: Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Martin O
Malley. All candidates made reference to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in their opening statements
because of the King holiday being the following day. Each candidate tried their best to make an appeal
to continuing the work of Dr. King by ensuring justice ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The use of twitter by both the viewers and the candidates are geared toward one particular goal: to try
to change the mind of voters. By candidates operating on Twitter they possess the ability to make
instant rebuttals to something that another candidate has said without having to release an official
statement or waiting until the next debate. Also in an age of social media candidates and their
campaigns believe that it is one of the most effective ways to broadcast information and connect with
voters. Twitter users also use this median as a way to make fun at a candidate s position or simply try
to convince others to change the way they have chosen to vote. Many twitter users from the
Republican party took to the social media website to bash the democratic candidates and their policy
positions. One user slammed a comment made by Governor Martin O Malley that the greatest threat
facing the United States was climate change. This made for a twitter field day with other users
implying that the democratic candidates do not take the threat of terrorism and ISIS seriously which
disqualifies them from the presidency. These type of instances can have negative effects for either
party because of how quickly a retweet can make a statement viral and could end up severely hurting a
campaign. However, this reaction did not alter my impression of the candidates or the debate at

Dynamic News Classification Using Machine Learning
Dynamic News Classification using Machine Learning Introduction Why this classification is needed
? (Ashutosh) The exponential growth of the data may lead us to a time in future where huge amount of
data would not be able to be managed easily. Text Classification is done through Text Mining study
which would help sorting the important texts from the content or a document to manage the data or
information easily. //Give a scenario, where classification would be mandatory. Advantages of
classification of news articles (Ayush) Data classification is all about tagging the data so that it can be

Revolt Response And Atheism
In an ideal world, an authentic person would always choose to revolt against an existential crisis.
When it comes to the three reactions that an individual can have in response to an existential crisis, I
believe that revolting is one that is commonly used today. To revolt is to take in ones situation entirely
for what it is. Unlike the other two reactions which are to escape and commit suicide, revolting
arguably shows the greatest sign of strength. When one revolts, they do not succumb to thoughts of
suicide nor hope to escape their current situation by traveling to a better time in their life. They are
completely mindful of their situation. With this being said, I cannot help but draw connections
between the revolt response and atheism.

  • 2. Brovs Vs Romanovs On the absolutist side you had the leaders of Spain, France, and Russia all laying claim on their areas, and they were saying that they had absolute power and answered to no one besides themselves and God.Then, in England there was constitutional side where there was a leader who was either voted in or was born in to play. In England, the leader most commonly came from a royal line. The difference in England was that the king didn t have the absolute power or say. Most events would be put up for a vote where the parliament would have a say in what happened as they were the financial backers. In the absolutist monarchy the disadvantage was with the peasants as they got little reward while the biggest advantage was with the king. Take for example, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If that leader can t assure the security than others are needed and it no longer acts as an absolute government. Louis succeeded in running France successfully for quite a time just as the Romanov family ruled Russia making it an incredible military power. The Romanovs showcased the success of an absolutist monarchy by being in control until 1917. In a constitutional monarchy one could say a great advantage came in that normal people had a voice. In comparison, there is the absolutist monarch who doesn t take anyone s vote while the constitutional monarch will hear from the nobleman what one may hear from the peasants. Charles I felt the true strength of parliament when he needed financial backing, and the backing would only be given when he agreed that parliament would have a vote in ordinary taxing and unfair imprisonment. The parliament itself was made up of nobleman as well as landowners and merchants who all wanted a say in that the parliament couldn t be broken up when Charles didn t like what they were doing. • 3. Ribosomes In Eukaryotic Cells The nucleus houses most of the genes in a eukaryotic cell. The genetic instructions are housed within a cell, and the instructions are carried out by the ribosomes. The nucleus directs protein synthesis by synthesizing messenger RNA according to instructions provided by the DNA. The mRNA is then transported to the cytoplasm via nuclear pores. The main parts of the nucleus include the nuclear envelope, which encloses the nucleus and separates it from the cytoplasm, which has an outer and an inner membrane. There is a complex of pores that helps regulate entry and exit into the nucleus. The nuclear side of the envelope is lined by the nuclear lamina, which helps maintain the structure of the nucleus. The DNA inside a nucleus is organized into units called chromosomes, which is made up of chromatin, a complex of proteins and DNA. The structures in a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They carry out protein synthesis. There are two locales free ribosomes in cytosol and bound ones to the endoplasmic reticulum or nuclear envelope. Most proteins are made in free ribosomes. The central dogma of biology is how proteins are made DNA transcribes RNA, then RNA forms proteins by translation, or protein synthesis. DNA RNA Proteins. Free ribosomes are found in the cytosol, while bound ribosomes are found attached to the side of the endoplasmic reticulum or nuclear envelope. The information in a gene, found on a chromosome, in the nucleus is used to synthesize an mRNA that is transported through a nuclear pore to the cytoplasm. There it is translated into a protein, which is transported back through a nuclear pore into the nucleus, where it joins other proteins and DNA, forming chromatin. • 4. The Theme Of Happiness In Dandelion Wine By Ray Bradbury Happiness is something that people all over the world strive for each day; it is even some s ultimate goal in life. There are many different philosophies on how to achieve and maintain happiness, but no two people are precisely alike on their journey. Nonetheless, there is one reiterating theme found, everybody has been given a chance at happiness. Life has never denied anyone of at least a glimpse of the feeling. Although there will be darkness in life, happiness is perpetually found down the road. Ray Bradbury displays this idea in his novel Dandelion Wine. The main character, Doug Spaulding, has many instances during his summer that supports this theme. Through the loss, change, and pain Doug both experiences and views, he can always find happiness around him and in the life he lives. Doug experiences many instances of loss during his summer. Between the moving of his best friend to the death of his great grandmother, Doug s life becomes very different than it was before the summer began. These events may cause one to believe that Doug is unhappy with his life, however it is very much the opposite. By the end of summer, Doug is very optimistic about the next summer, saying next year s going to be even bigger, days will be brighter, nights longer and darker (Bradbury 235). Though the very small world of his has been flipped upside down within a few months, Doug is still happy and knows that things are only going to get better from here. One specific instance of Doug overcoming loss is when his best friend, John Huff, moves away. After Doug sees John for the last time, Doug blows up in a fit of rage screaming You, John! John, you re my enemy, you hear? You re no friend of mine! (Bradbury 111). This loss was very hard on Doug because he is very young, twelve years old, and hasn t had to deal with anything like this. After calming down, Doug moves on and is able to find joy in life in things such as going to the local ravine, writing revelations in his journal, and spending time with family. He becomes content with life once again. Change is another prevalent item in Doug s summer that some might believe could hinder his happiness. Many parts of his life that have always been there change over this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Experiment to investigate factors affecting the rate of... Experiment to investigate factors affecting the rate of reaction between magnesium ribbon and hydrochloric acid Rates of Reaction: Investigation Experiment to investigate factors affecting the rate of reaction between magnesium ribbon and hydrochloric acid. Chemical reactions between substances are caused by the collision of particles. More collisions mean a quicker rate of reaction. In the reaction between hydrochloric acid and magnesium ribbon, the chemical reaction takes place when the magnesium ribbon is dropped into the hydrochloric acid. The products are hydrogen gas and magnesium chloride. The equation for this reaction is as follows: Magnesium + Hydrochloric acid Magnesium chloride + Hydrogen Mg (s) + 2HCL (aq) MgCl2 (aq) + ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I predict this because of collision theory. There will be more particles in a solution of hydrochloric acid with a higher concentration than in a lower concentration, in the same volume of liquid. This means that particles in higher concentrations will collide with magnesium particles more frequently, therefore increasing rate of reaction i.e. a shorter time measured for the magnesium to be used up in reaction. I can predict that rate of reaction will increase with concentration of acid. The quicker the rate of reaction, the less time the reaction will take to be completed. Therefore: Rate of reaction 1 concentration of acid time taken to react So... Rate of reaction concentration

I will measure the time taken for the magnesium ribbon to disappear (be used up in reaction) with a stop clock. This will be switched on when the piece of magnesium ribbon is dropped into the hydrochloric acid seen to be reacting with the acid i.e. producing bubbles of gas, and switched off when the magnesium is no longer visible no more new bubbles are being produced. Results will be recorded in a results table, with 4 readings and an average time for each concentration value. • 7. Causes Of The Greenhouse Effect A greenhouse gas is described as any gas in the atmosphere that absorbs as well as emits radiation in the thermal infrared range. These are the primary cause of the greenhouse effect, which results in increased temperatures on Earth. The greenhouse effect takes place as the gases reach Earth s surface. As the short wave energy heats the surface, some of the longer wave energy radiates back into the atmosphere as well as back into space. Greenhouse gases absorb some of the energy and trap it in the lower atmosphere. Less heat radiates into space, in addition to Earth is warmer. A lot of greenhouse gases take place naturally. Carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor, as well as nitrous oxide are naturally present in Earth s atmosphere. Others, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Also, there is much more methane (a greenhouse gas eight four times more potent than carbon dioxide in the short term) in the atmosphere than at any time in the past eight hundred thousand years two and a half times as much as before the Industrial Revolution. Whereas some methane is emitted naturally from wetlands, sediments, volcanoes as well as wildfires, the majority of methane emissions come from oil as well as gas production, livestock farming, and landfills. Global temperatures have risen an average of 1.4˚ F since 1880. Sea ice in the Arctic has thinned as well as decreased in the last few decades; the Greenland, in additional to Antarctic ice sheets, are diminishing in mass. The North and South Poles are warming faster compared to anywhere else on the globe. Glaciers are retreating on mountains all over the globe. Spring snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere has decreased over the last 50 years. It is infact a simple as well as a beneficial experiment to add more confirmation to support the theory of the green house effect. The point of the display is just to show how carbon dioxide absorbs heat; Carbon dioxide levels in Earth s atmosphere are increasing in addition to it will get warmer with time. • 8. Unexpected Inflation Unexpected Inflation and Redistribution of Wealth in Canada Césaire A. Meh, Canadian Economic Analysis, and Yaz Terajima, Financial Stability One of the most important arguments in favour of price stability is that unexpected inflation generates changes in the distribution of income and wealth among different economic agents. These redistributions occur because many loans in the economy are specified in fixed dollar terms. Unexpected inflation redistributes wealth from creditors to debtors by reducing the real value of nominal assets and liabilities. This article quantifies the redistributional effects of unexpected inflation in Canada. To this end, we first provide comprehensive evidence of the nominal assets and liabilities of various ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Hence, when inflation is high, the value of these assets and liabilities falls in terms of purchasing power, since the prices of other goods and services go up with inflation, but payments on these financial claims are fixed. The extent of the changes in the purchasing power of financial assets and liabilities also depends on the term to maturity, as we will show later on. In this section, we document Canadian holdings by type and maturity in various categories of assets and liabilities. Specifically, we look at asset and liability positions for three sectors: household, government, and non residents.5 We also consider different groups of households. The objective is to show that, among these different groups of agents, holdings of nominal assets and liabilities differ in both qualitatively and quantitatively important ways. Given that these differences exist, there is potential for redistribution among them following inflation shocks. (SFS). The NBSA documents the ownership of financial and non financial assets and liabilities by sector. We use the NBSA to compute the net asset and liability positions of the household, government, and foreign sectors. The SFS is a household survey data set on income and wealth. The protection of intellectual property and confidential information is essential and valuable in for both employees and employers. Employees may misuse confidential information during their employment or once their engagement comes to an end. It is vital that employers take all necessary measures to prevent intellectual property infringement. Disputes over ownership of intellectual property are likely to arise between employees and employers however this essay will discuss the numerous ways to reduce the likelihoods of it occurring. Simple measures can be extremely beneficial for a business and there are three major aspects that employers should focus on in order to prevent IP infringement and these include employee intake, employment contract and employee exit interviews. The chances of intellectual property theft have increased significantly in recent years due to new technologies and the internet. This essay will discuss why and how employers can protect their business when or if the employment relationship breakdown or ceases. World International Property Organisation (WIPO) refers to intellectual property as creations of the mind: inventions; literary and artistic works; and symbols, names and images used in commerce . How were they related? Give one or two examples! In a very broad sense, the ideas of a unified Europe can be found throughout centuries preceeding the World War II: Byzantine Empire, Roman Empire, French Empire, Nazi Germany and others whose common feature is unity imposed on people by force. A more peaceful unification was achieved through poltical marriage: In a very general sense, we can find the »European spirit« emerging in the ages of Perikleanean Athens (480 430 B.C.) and later during the era of the Roman Empire (100 B.C. 100). From the internal perspective, Western European states found themselves in relations of mutual dependence after World War II. But this dependence was not in compliance with the centrifugal character of their sovereignty. The pressure of common needs and interests finally stimulated the recognition of Western European states, that the principle of the national sovereignty already exhausted its utility. With the proper setup it is possible for a company to communicate with any business and affiliates quickly just about anywhere in the world. To fully understand telecommunications it is important to understand the characteristics of telecommunication, network types, and the medium used in telecommunications. 2. Abstract Basic telecommunication characteristics are the medium that carries transmitted messages from point A to point B . • 13. English Case Law on Piercing the Corporate Veil Piercing the corporate veil is a term that is commonly used in corporate law to refer to cases in which the limited liability of the Corporation becomes unlimited to be able to impose certain responsibilities either to the particular Corporation or to the shareholders of a corporation. The idea of piercing the corporate veil has been the answer to social problems that come form the principle that corporations have limited liability. When studying limited liability in the United Kingdom it can be found that the topic is regulated by case law. According to what the court has said there are two main events in which the veil can be pierced. This is either when the corporation is created to evade existing obligations, or when a single economic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In respect to what has just been explained there appears to be a sense between the courts concepts. They started with a simple concept of the previous existing obligations and evolved through the cases to the concept of the façade. The problem of this way in which the court has evolved, is that the concept of the façade is not clear enough. Even though it has been developed in some cases, a clear concept or definition of what the court means by façade has not been made. The definitions that have been made are pure inductions that the academics like Kershaw make of the cases. The other main event in which the court gives place to lift the corporate veil is in the case of the existence of a single economic unit. This means that a group of two or more corporations (being one the parent one) work as a single one, even though they are different companies a separate business operation does not exist. The most important cases that are taken into account when referring to this circumstance are DHN Food Distributors v Tower Hamlets LBC (1976) (case 1), Woolfson v Strathclyde Regional Council (1978) (case 2) and Adams v Cape Industries Plc (1990) (case 3). He lost almost all of his 500,000 men that he had started with. In 1810, he divorced Josephine and married the daughter of the Austrian Emperor, Marie Louise, in a last attempt to improve relations. Upon his return to France, the Prussians, Russians, Swedish, and the British started the War of Liberation against him. His army was soon forced over the Rhine at the Battle of Leipzig. However, the allied armies did not accept the plan and they demanded that the brother of Louis XVI, Louis XVIII, be put on the throne. Napoleon was sent to rule the Island of Elba in 1813 with the British Navy guarding the Island. But, in 1815, he returned to Paris and his old armies quickly gathered around him, already sick of the new king. The allies were threatening to invade France again since they heard of the return of Napoleon, so he quickly organized a new army and marched them into Belgium to meet the British and Prussian armies. • 15. Labyrinth In Theseus Confrontation With The Unconscious in Theseus The journey to self awareness is one of great challenge that many, unfortunately never persevere to seeing the end of. Theseus is a story originating from Greek oral tradition. First recorded by Homer is 600 BCE, is about consciousness and how one s perception of reality and of himself can be grown and changed. In Theseus, the hero, Theseus, leaves his home of Southern Greece, killing thieves that lay in the path to Athens. Upon arriving, he vows to kill the minotaur of Crete, wherein he would have to walk a trying labyrinth before he could reach the minotaur. The labyrinth, as a metaphor, is most commonly interpreted as the mind and for life itself. Walking a labyrinth is about the journey, not the destination. It weaves its walls in a complicated yet linear course. It is about discovering a path that already exists, but possibly one that had otherwise not been considered. Where the labyrinth is the mind, for Theseus, walking it is a journey of psychotherapy. When he enters the labyrinth, he enters with the intent for violence, but in having such a long stretch between then and reaching his goal, he is given time to reflect on his own actions and morals. Upon entering the leaving he realizes the inhumanity of eye for an eye justice. Theseus entering the center of the labyrinth is not only a shift in the path, ... • 17. Juxtaposition King Lear Essay Question: Alexander Pope has said that King Lear is a play that centre around opposition and juxtaposition. Discuss with reference to symbolism, metaphor, motif, plot or character whether you believe the statement is accurate. King Lear is about the tragic events and the conflicts between fathers and their children. In the play King Lear written by William Shakespeare has many motifs and symbolism throughout the play. Alexander Pope was an English poet who had said King Lear is a play centered around opposition and juxtaposition. Although there is a parallel story between King Lear and Gloucester, the motifs and symbolism in this play contrasts from one another in different ways. I believe what Alexander Pope has said was quite accurate because of the motifs and symbolism that affects one another with a juxtaposition affect. Many of the motifs and symbolism in the play are opposites from one another. One of the motifs that happens frequently throughout the play was loyalty and betrayal. In the play Lear has three daughters named Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia. This happened in the beginning of the play where King Lear wanted to retire and give bigger portions of his land based on the daughter who loved him most. Goneril and Regan praised their love for Lear but Cordelia refused to do so. In Act 1 Scene 1 (Li 101 102), Cordelia says ...I love your Majesty, according to my bond no more no less. This indicates that although Cordelia loves Lear very dearly she refused to lie to get land from her father. Unlike her sisters who have boasted about their love for Lear who they don t love him to that extent and lies. It seems as if Cordelia is the sign of betrayal but Cordelia is actually a sign of loyalty because she refuses to love her father in such a way of getting inheritance where Cordelia wants to love her father in a genuine way. She represents loyalty and honesty to her father in this part of the play. While Goneril and Regan represents the lies and foreshadows the sign of betrayal. These two signs are opposites from one another and it creates a juxtaposition affect. Not only does this part of the play represent betrayal, loyalty, lies and honesty but it also has a sign of sight. The reason is because ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The reason behind this is, as opposed to every citizen going to the polls and voting on each public issue, we have elected officials that vote based on their constituents preferences. Since it is the people that elect these representatives, it is critical that public opinion be taken into consideration. However, regardless of how we gather our data, bias often makes it difficult to accurately gauge public opinion. Public opinion can be defined as the collective opinion of many people on some issue. When it comes to elections, party members attempt to estimate a candidate favorability by polling the public using different techniques such as: calling, online surveys, panels, and exit polls. Generally, elegies are written to lament over someone who has passed away. In this piece, however, the poet contemplates on his own possible death during war. • 24. Social Cognitive Theory Main Concepts Essay Social Cognitive Theory Main Concepts: According to the Social Cognitive Theory, people learn by observation and modeling behavior. Albert Bandura developed the social cognitive theory in 1986. Bandura believes that people obtain knowledge and how to function by modeling behavior from others by interacting with others. The main highlight of his theory is that people learn by observation, imitation and modeling behavior within the social environment (Merriam, 2014)). Individual remember the consequences associated with individual behavior and used this information to guide subsequent behavior. For example, an observed action elicits an instinctive drive to model the behavior. Although the social learning theory states that people learn by observation, learning does not always lead to aggressive behavior. The social cognitive theory (SCT) integrates interaction between behavior, personal factor, cognition and environment which is referred to as the reciprocal causation model However, Bandura does not suggest that these three factors contribute to behavior (Bandura, 2012). Andragogy: On the other hands, andragogy is a theory developed by Malcolm Shepherd Knowles in 1980 s. Andragogy focuses on the science of adult learning and self directive learning.
