How To Write A Cause Effect Essay
Writing an essay on the intricacies of crafting a cause-effect essay may seem like a
straightforward task, but delving into the nuances of the topic reveals its own set of challenges.
First and foremost, the writer must possess a deep understanding of the cause-and-effect
relationship, grasping the subtle connections that underlie various phenomena. This requires
extensive research to gather relevant information and examples that can illustrate these
relationships effectively.
Crafting a coherent and engaging structure for the essay is another hurdle. A cause-effect essay
demands a clear organization to present the causal chain logically. Ensuring that each cause leads
to a plausible effect and vice versa, while maintaining a smooth flow throughout the essay,
requires careful planning and attention to detail.
Selecting suitable examples to support the arguments can be demanding as well. The writer must
sift through a plethora of potential causes and effects to choose the most compelling and relevant
ones. Balancing the depth of analysis with the need for brevity adds an additional layer of
complexity.
Moreover, maintaining a neutral and objective tone is essential, as the focus should be on
presenting a factual and well-supported analysis rather than promoting personal opinions. This
requires a nuanced approach to language and a meticulous review of the essay to eliminate any
potential bias.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the intricacies of writing a cause-effect essay is a task that
demands a combination of research skills, logical thinking, and a keen understanding of the
topic. It is a process that requires time, effort, and a dedication to precision. For those who find
themselves struggling with such assignments, seeking assistance from professional writing
services, like HelpWriting.net, can provide valuable support and ensure the delivery of high-
quality essays on a variety of topics.

Comparing Ancient Greek Architecture, Doric, And...
As the saying goes, great art is mad with its own loveliness. Over the decades, Greek
inspired architecture has been seen all over the world. Ideas are often borrowed while
constructing buildings, monuments, and even houses. Greeks mostly used wood,
limestone, unbaked bricks, terracotta and metal for construction. Most architecture
were inspired by religion, politics, and form of recreation. Of all designs from Greek
architecture three of them have withstood the test of time and their application can be
seen today. They include Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian order. However, each order is
distinct from the other and one cannot differentiate unless trained. This paper will
look at Doric and Corinthian orders while comparing and contrasting them. It will
also trace their prevalence and popularity throughout history.
Doric style of architecture has been the most famous. It is used all over the world
today. It is found in Parthenon and Acropolis and can be distinguished from other
orders as it has vertical column and a plain roof. Colonies of south Italy and Sicily
have also used it. Doric order is, however, the simplest. Roman Doric is the most
common form today. This column consists of around capital which has a narrow
neckband. It has a shaft that may be plain or fluted and normally rest on a base. Its
entablature is structured to have a distinctive frieze with triglyphs which are an
upright projecting grooved panel. This triglyph is normally set in line with each
column. There
Benefits Of Single Species Recovery Programmes
World conservation is at a crossroads of judgement making and New Zealand
provides an extreme example of issues and possible solutions. On the positive side,
more than 30% of total land area in New Zealand has been set aside for as National
Parks (DOC, n.d.) and various reserved land and is run by the Department of
Conservation. Single species recovery programmes have been successful with the
use of eradication of offshore islands pests to for reintroduction of threatened
onshore species such as the Kakapo on Cod fish island. However, this is in marked
contrast to biodiversity decline with up to 50% of native birds threatened due to
introduced pests such as mustelids and possums. With legislation (Conservation Act
1987), public opinion and changes in current practices, conservation and
development might be able to coexist to a point where each can be sustainable
(Craig, 2000).
Brief history of land conservation in New Zealand till 1969
New Zealand is a special place as it was the last major land form to be settled as it is
separated by large oceans so was largely unknown. Before the first settlers arrived,
the country had been isolated for some 85 million years with the result of different
plant life, large and flightless birds as well as no ground living mammals (
Conservation a history , n.d.).
With the early Maori and European settlers bringing in mammals for sport and food,
this had a devastating effect on the endemic wildlife population with up to 40% of
species

Human Resource Management
HRM means to Select, Develop, Motivate and Maintain human resources, in the
organization. It first selects the right human resources or staff (i.e. managers and

The Aztec Of Aztec Life
The Aztecs are really interesting people that were alive back from 1400 1600 AD.
They lived very different than us, because we don t no human sacrifices because we
don t believe in any of the gods (due to science)This paper will show how the Aztecs
lived, including their empire, Government and Agriculture.
The first interesting thing about the Aztecs is their daily routine. Aztecfamily life was
very similar to many modern day cultures. For example, the husband was primarily
responsible for supporting the family and the wife s role was to provide the family
with clothing and food. As such, the Aztec daily life for many of the men was to
farm or engage in craftwork. The female Aztec life, on the other hand, mainly
consisted of weaving and cooking. The Aztecs were a culture that settled in the
Valley of Mexico during the early 14th century. By the 15th century the Aztecs had
developed into a very powerful culture with many daily activities that spanned the
ages. These activities were divided among gender and age with the males farming
and crafting, the females weaving and preparing food, and the children attending
school for training in Aztec religion and war.
The second interesting thing about the Aztecs is their empire. Many years after the
Mexica people first built their proud city, Tenochtitlan (later to become Mexico City),
they formed an alliance with two other cities Texcoco (Tetzcoco) and Tlacopan. This
Triple Alliance was to rule the Valley of Mexico until the

instilled that belief within both of my daughters. I love boots, sneakers, flats,

that are pleasing to the eye, but I also look for shoes that are comfortable too. I will
not buy a shoe that I can t walk in, or a shoe that I wear for an hour and have to take

The Effects Of Cognitive Deficits On Children
Children in institutional care such as foster care or adoption are at a heightened risk
for poor psychosocial outcomes. These risks include psychopathology, substance
abuse, juvenile delinquency, academic failure and problems with peers. Their poor
performance may result from their experiences of either maltreatment or abuse. Given
that this population of children has poor long term outcomes, their deficits in
cognitive functioning will assist in the development of more suitable interventions
and psychotherapeutic treatment services. This study examined deficits in memory
using a sample of 5 to 12 year old maltreated foster/adoption children (n=20) and a
comparison group of same aged, nonmaltreated children living with their biological...

Since this is a huge problem in the legal system, there has been a huge debate on
whether or not the reports of recovering memories of abuse can be authentic, since
human memory is susceptible to distortion. These types of memories can either help
or hurt people in the system for example prosecuting an innocent person who was
accused of being an abuser. However, very few studies have been done on the
population of at risk children such as those in foster care or adoption. Children in
foster care and adoption are a unique group that deserves research recognition. This
population of children faces a long term life of consequences because of the
maltreatment, abuse and neglect. The importance of being able to understand what
child maltreatment and neglect is crucial because of the danger it can cause a child.
Child maltreatment is an urgent public health problem for many reasons. This paper
expects to investigate the negative effects of early maltreatment/abuse on social and
psychological functioning.

Emotion Understanding and Theory of Mind
At risk children such as maltreated and abused children are at a higher risk of poor
psychosocial outcomes such as substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, academic
failure, and future problems with peer relations (Pears Fisher, 2005). This study
looked at the deficits in memory abilities among abused and maltreated children and
suggested that being in foster care was
Cultural Background Assignment
1.What is your cultural background?
I was raised in a home that was Baptist, but we did not attend church every week. I
did attend church by myself from the third grade through the ninth grade. We lived
in an upper middle class neighborhood that was almost 100% white. My aunts and
uncles, as well as my grandparents, lived close by so we visited frequently.
2.Do you identify with a particular ethnic group?
I identify myself as white, non Hispanic. 3.Select an ethnic group you come the
closest to identifying with, and describe the group s customary behaviors regarding
each of the following:

but we never discussed it. I was able to see my grandfather before he died and was
able to attend his funeral. Two years later my grandmother died suddenly and we
were able to attend his funeral. I vaguely remember attending a couple other funerals
but I was really too young to understand what exactly was going on.
4.How do you feel about your ethnic identity? What are the strengths and weaknesses
you perceive in your ethnic group?
I am very lucky in that I grew up in a household that ethnicity was never discussed.
I always believed (as my parents did) that everyone was equal. I think this was
definitely a strength in that I never looked down on anyone. I can say the only
weakness that my ethnic group would have is those that do look down upon other
ethnic groups. I did not witness this from anyone (that I remember) until I was an
adult.

My Airplane Experience
Most Filipino families have family living abroad. My family is one of those. My
grandparents lived in Barrow, Alaska the majority of their lives. When I was six,
they convinced my mom to bring her family to America. After six months of testing
and vetting, we were on our way to Alaska. As a six year old I did not think much of
it, not until it was actually happening. When we were driving to the airportI had a
moment of realization that I was going to be riding in an airplane for the first time
of my life. It was always my dream to go inside an airplane because everyday of my
life in the Philippines, I would see airplanes flying high above our house everyday,
and I would always imagine myself inside the airplane and what it looks like. To
this day, I still have a vivid memory of my first experience traveling in an airplane.
My first time flying was a defining moment in my life because it was the beginning
of the transition to my new life in a new country. After getting through all the
security checks and screening checks, we finally reached the actual fun part of the
airport. I found out that waiting in the airport was an actual experience itself. It
was basically a mall with designer stores like Prada and Rolex. As my sister and I
were looking at expensive jewelry in the one of the airport stores, my mom called us
to get in line for boarding. My heart started to pound faster and faster as we got closer
to the kiosque because I knew that I was getting closer and closer
A Brief Note On Personal Hygiene And Health Hygiene
There are many reasons why personal hygiene is important. Some of the reasons
are taking care of your teeth so they don t fall out, taking care of your hair so it
stays healthy, taking showers to stay clean, or just washing your hands to keep them
clean. There are so many more ways to take care of personal hygienesuch as changing
your clothes on a daily basis, eating the right foods, being careful of what you re
touching or what you re chewing on. There are many places that can help with
your hygiene like dentists or orthodontist. So are you really taking care of your
personal hygiene? Personal hygiene is very important for many reasons. One
reason is if you don t take care of your teeth, they could rot and possibly fall out.
This would not be enjoyable because you would have to get false teeth or just
never have teeth. It would be very challenging to eat without teeth. This could also
result in having to pay very large amounts of money. Another reason hygiene is
important is your hair. If you don t take care of your hair, you can get very
unhealthy hair and scalp issues such as Dandruff . Dandruff is small pieces of
dead skin in a person s hair. Signs of dandruff is a itchy scalp or white flakes in
your hair. This is not because of dryness but because it s usually the result of too
much oil rather than too little in your hair. Taking showers can reduce getting
dandruff because the water can wash the extra, not needed, oil out. Personal hygiene

Lithium Carbonate Interview
With technology advancing and new medications being made to help cure or prevent
a disease, countless amount of people are on a medication or multiple medication.
The person I choose to interview was initials are D.B., who is a male and is in his
early 50 s. He is on multiple different medications. The medication that we will be
talking about is Lithium Carbonate. Lithium Carbonate is a mood stabilizer. D.B. has
been taking Lithium Carbonate for about 5 years. Lithium Carbonate is also known
as Lithobid or also Eskalith. When taking Lithium, it alters the sodium transport nerve
and muscle cells. The alterations of the sodium transport in the two areas can cause

Interviewing D.B. will have some effect developing my RN role When becoming
an RN, you include different learning approaches when communicating with others.
Some ways you might earn a little information from a person as well as obtaining
abundant amount. Learning about Lithium Carbonate I needed do my own
research on learning about this drug. Researching data will help you not only build
a better understanding of the medication but it will help you teach your patients
about it along with make sure they absolutely understand the information. I learned
that not everyone retains information the same. Some patients like to have
handouts but some need hands on teaching. Knowing more facts about your
patient is always key to a successful training along with a successful patient
provider relationship. Lithium Carbonate is not typically prescribed to many
people. Lithium, being a dangerous drug can result in a risk of potential toxicity.
This drug has to be closely monitored by having labs done every 3 months to
prevent toxicity. In order to be prescribed Lithium Carbonate you have to be seen
someone in behavioral health vs. by your family doctor. After someone has been
on a medication for a few years they tend to let slip from memory the serious
adverse effects along with patient teaching. It is always valuable to just review the
basic teaching. When prescribing a drug, you will know the side effects for that
drug, but you also need to know the drug interactions it will have on other drugs if
someone is taking multiple
Shakespeare As A Modern Comedy
William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright and actor. He is widely
regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world s pre eminent
dramatist. He is often called England s national poet and the Bard of Avon.
Shakespeare has written many plays during his time. He wrote poems, tragedies,
and of course some of his most known plays are comedies. What made Shakespeare
so popular? Why are his comedies so well known? How did his way of writing
comedies form the way others wrote and continue to write in the years after him?
These are some questions many educators and students want to understand while
studying Shakespeare. Focusing on his writing within his most popular comedies,
Shakespeare has formed literature into what it is today. When the first collected
edition of Shakespeare s plays, the First Folio, was published in 1623, its contents
page divided them into three categories: comedies, histories and, tragedies. The list
of comedies included Measure for Measure and The Merchant of Venice, plays that
modern audiences and readers have not found particularly funny. Also included
were two late plays, The Tempest and The Winter s Tale, that critics often now
classify as romances (Mullan). If we ask ourselves what these four plays have in
common with those such as As You Like It or Twelfth Night; which we are used to
calling comedies, the answer gives us a clue to the meaning of comedyfor many of
Shakespeare s educated contemporaries. All of them

In order to complete the experiment the values for Kp were needed as shown at the
end of the previous section. The method of simplify the block diagram in section 1.2
to the final transfer function equation is shown below:
Ts= KpKmKОёП„S+1s+KpKmKОё
Then by substituting in values for Km, KОё and П„, gives:
Ts= 15.53Kp0.1s2+s+15.53Kp
Ts= 155.3Kps2+10s+155.3Kp eq. 1.3.1.
That then is the final version of the simplified equation to get the values for Kp

Summary Of The Spotted Fallow Doe
The spotted fallow doe was only one hundred paces from him, a shot so easy even
Merlin would have no problems. So when he missed it, the confused, yet critical
eye he gave the crossbow was laughable because it couldn t possibly have been his
fault. He had perfect form, had it full in his sights, and he shouldn t have missed
unless the crossbowwas faulty. Had he damaged it in some way on this hunt?
Arthur almost didn t hear Mithian s cheeky remark about his poor marksmanship
when her aim was true and her bolt hit the doe in its hindquarter. Her shot didn t
fell it, though, and there was very little blood to track. The king joined in the
search, combing the forest floor for a trail of blood they knew would be close by.
A less perceptive hunter would have missed the glint that caught his attention. Arthur
knelt in a comfortable squat and picked up a silver ring tied to a leather cord. When
he recognized the object, Guinevere s matching wedding band, the world closed in
around him, all the times he kissed her, held her, vexed her, laughed with her, and
every other moment in between spontaneously flash within his mind. The trail lost all
meaning.
What fickle chance had he of finding that ring, now discarded and forgotten on the
forest floor in the middle of nowhere? What was Fate trying to tell him? Stricken, he
looked to Merlin for answers he knew the servant wouldn t have.
Merlin kept the king s gaze only briefly, the guilt of constantly altering the destiny of
Nursing Homes Are Now For A Five Star Rating System
Essay
Quality Matters Nursing homes are now subject to a five star rating system called
Nursing Home Compare, described on the Medicare Web site. Simply inputting a
nursing home s name or area code allows a user to compare the quality of care at
various locations. According to the article Aging well written by Athan Bezaitis,
he states that this is an important first step but it s not always a choice system.
Discharge agents at hospitals often make decisions regarding where older adults
will go following discharge. What are the views of older adults regarding Assisted
Living Facilities (ALF) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). Speaking to a lady
who reside at Atlantic shores skilled nursing and Rehab and whom I will refer to

Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA). Mary states that with all
her chronic ailments and diseases, it is good for her to live within the LTC
because her illness are monitored and her medications are managed well. She
further went on to say that if something goes wrong, help is always readily
available. Another lady who resides at an assisted living facility that I operate gave
me her views of living there. Her history is that of having dementia and she was
becoming so forgetful, she was scared of burning her home down. Therefore, she and
her family decided to move her to a place where she would have assistance in getting
things done. She states
The Role of Federal Agencies in Fighting Digital Crime
The Secret Service, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and other law
enforcement agencies have similar challenges when fighting computer crimes and
terrorism due to the recent development of computer technologies as well as constant
threats. Federal law enforcement agencies and local law enforcement agencies have
different responsibilities that work independently instead of on the same level, which
can make it difficult to coordinate and cooperate to fight against computer crimes and
terrorist threats. Local law enforcement agencies deal with more challenges than
federal law enforcement agencies, which includes getting the necessary training,
equipment, updated criminal codes designed to complement current enforcement
efforts, and resources. The lack of training in computer crimes for most of local law
enforcement agencies is a serious issue when trying to prosecute computer crimes.
Untrained patrol officers can easily destroy computer evidence by accident, and
cause the criminal to go free because there is no evidence linking the computer crime
to the criminal. Local law enforcement agencies aren t capable of deciphering
encrypted computer evidence as federal law enforcement agencies are due to the fact
that they don t receive enough funding to get equipment to read encrypted evidence.
The constant changes in computer technology have hindered legislative attempts to
pass laws that are current and can apply it to the use of these new technologies.
Computer crimes would be
Hinduism Is A Monotheistic Religion
Religion is a combination of beliefs, ceremonies and set of rules used to follow god
or group of gods. I myself belong from a monotheistic religion, known as Islam.
Islam is second largest religion in the world. Islam is revealed through Mohammad
as a prophet of god. Quran is the holy book of Islam. The Quran was first revealed to
Prophet Mohammad, being a messenger of godhe started telling those teachings to the
people of Mecca and Madinah. After that, people started to convert to Islam. I always
wanted to know that how Hinduismis a monotheistic religionbecause Hindus believe
in so many gods. I also wanted to know that why Hindu temples have a bell at their
entrance. That s why I choose Hinduism as my experience project.
Hinduism is the oldest religions. The most interesting thing about Hinduism is that
they have no specific founder or date of origin. Based on their beliefs Hindu s are
divided in to two casts. In the current world, there is still a big conflict about
whether Hinduism is a monotheistic religion or a polytheistic religion. Because
according to Hindus believe it s one God with many different faces. This concept
regarding Gods is accepted by some scholars, but not all of them. Hinduism has four
sacred text Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Epics. The two most common sacred
texts are the Vedas and Bhagavad Gita. The authors of all sacred texts are still
unknown.

Don Quixoteand Sancho Panza. The Epic of Gilgameshis an epic poem from ancient
Mesopotamia, and is often regarded as one of the earliest texts of literature.
However, the main characters in the poem are both Gilgamesh and Enkidu. In Don
Quixote, Sancho Panza and Alonso Quijano (Don Quixote) have a similar bond. The
relationship between Don Quixote and Sancho Panza have various interesting points
of similarity and contrast with The Epic of Gilgamesh. How do the characters from
Don Quixote contrast from the two main characters in The Epic of Gilgamesh? Don
Quixote is a middle aged man from the region of La Macha in Spain. In addition, he
began to be obsessed with the chivalrous ideas that appeared in the books he read.
Throughout his adventures his trusting sidekick, Sancho Panza, accompanies him on
his journeys. Sancho Panza first began to be the neighbor of Alonso, and throughout
time Sancho began to be his personal attendant. At first Sancho is quite timid, or
bashful. Sancho Panza was known to be Don Quixote s correct lens for what the
world considered Quixote s distorted vision. Quixote represented illusion while
Sancho Panza represented reality throughout
I Volunteered At The Rotary International And Lions
Clubs...
Growing up in India, I was a volunteer for the Rotary International and Lions Clubs
International. I volunteered at medical camps, annual polio immunization
programs and free clinics in Bhimavaram, a town with limited access to public
health care services. I primarily assisted General and Family practitioners; I was
amazed at how they could manage a broad range of medical conditions and patient
populations. I was attracted towards the intellectual challenges, the art of diagnosis
and the fulfillment that comes from taking care of a variety of patients. I was
appreciated for my ability to educate and rationalize with patients of all age groups.
This experience played a significant role in my decision to build a career in medicine
that would enable me to take care of a variety of patients and make a positive impact
on the community s health.
When I was 18 years old, I moved to Auckland, New Zealand. A focused and
hardworking person, I worked part time and volunteered throughout college. Working
as a laboratory assistant for AsureQuality Limited s multidisciplinary laboratory
helped me in perfecting my bench skills and developing an appreciation for
dedication, patience and safety. Volunteering for the Manukau Community Transport
program was a satisfying experience. We assisted in the transport of older adults and
low income patients to and from doctor s appointments, interacting with them and
understanding the financial and support service issues they often faced. We worked
The Role Of Modern Medicine In The Killer Angels By
Robert...
Modern medicine is a fascinating thing. Since the development of medical
technology, the total mortality rate has dropped immensely, while the percent of
medical care has skyrocketed. There is a clear correlation between the two. But
medicine has taken a long time to develop. During the civil war, people died from
things that seemed so simple, like diarrhea. As the book The Killer Angels shows,
many brave men lost their lives to many different afflictions, including gunshot
wounds, disease, and botched surgery. In the book The Killer Angels, Robert E
Lee described as a bold, honorable, and religious man. He is seen as a risk taker and
would do anything if it means winning the war. But there was one disease that Robert
E Lee couldn t defeat,
Legal And Political System Of Australia
Legal and Political System Australia s government design was taken from the British
Westminster system after those who originally colonized Australia. A functional,
western style democracy, there are a number of minor political parties operating in
Australia but the country s federal politics is an essential 2 party system at present,
much like the United States (Our Country, 2015). Power in Australia is shared
between various levels of government, the Federal, State and territorial. Establishing
operations within Australia would require understanding the Federal government s
laws and policies as well as the laws and policies of the six state governments as well
as two additional territories each with its own regional governing body. Law... Show

Australia s main trading partners are China, Japan, the United States, Republic of
Korea and Singapore. Nearly half of Australia s trade activity in terms of imports
and exports are with these 5 countries alone. Particularly with the recent growth of
the Chinese economy, Australia s chief trading partner, the country has seen
growth in its exports. However very recently the growth of the Chinese economy
has been slowing which is a risk to Australian exports. 72% of Australia s two way
trade is within the APEC countries. Like the G20, this trade relationship is quite
significant. Australia s single top import is personal travel services, however
overall most of what Australia imports is petroleum products and motor vehicles. It
s appetite for refined petroleum increased by 12% over the past 5 years. Australia s
top exports are its natural resources, iron ores, coal and natural gas. (Australian
Government: Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, 2014) Since 2012, Australia
has maintained a mostly negative trade balance, perhaps amid uncertainty of its
currency against the US dollar, but more likely is its economic growth is causing it
to import more and more petroleum products which it s exports of its own natural
resources is not able to match. Australia and Canada have similar economic policies
that govern their banking systems. As a result both countries
French Counterinsurgency Failures in the Algerian War of...
In recent years, it has become fashionable in the minds of some to belittle France. A
rather boorish joke follows along the lines of arguing that the French have big heads
only in order to accommodate their big mouths. This colloquial anecdote can be used
to demonstrate that outsiders often view the behavior and policy of French
government with contempt at their perceived arrogance. An example can be found in
the case of Algeria s decolonization. The failures and arrogance of the French allowed
insurgents to emerge the victors of the Algerian War
of 1954 1962. To understand why
this occurred, it is imperative to examine how French military arrogance, political
arrogance, and a failure to use military and political capabilities in... Show more

In attempting to justify the use of torture, military leaders posited that the
unconventional style of war being waged did not merit following rules of
conventional war, that it was a controlled and limited way to quickly gain intelligence
of tactical value, and it came to pass that [t]he ideological and spiritual nature of the
conflict was internalized by many in the French Army and became one justification
for torture, (DiMarco 2006, 70 71.) Regardless of justification, failure to comply with
moral and legal constrictions... severely undermined French efforts and contributed to
their loss despite several significant military victories. (Counterinsurgency Field
Manual 2006, 252) It is obvious that with such improper conduct such as the
counterinsurgency tactics used and torture of captured enemy personnel the
demonstrated arrogance of the French military contributed to its eventual defeat by
emboldening its opposition. Less tangible a form of failure than military arrogance,
the political arrogance of leaders among both the pied noir and metropolitan France
contributed to the Algerian victory. Policymakers were, like military leaders,
interested in preventing another incident as embarrassing as Dien Bien Phu.
However, the long, pronounced history of division between natives and Europeans,
as described by Alistair Horne, made difficult any hope of reconciliation: The
Muslim Algerian and pied noir were separated by
James Parkinson And Geisenheimer s Essay
Did you know that 60,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson s and 700,000
people suffer from Alzheimer s each year? Alzheimer s and Parkinson s date back
to the 1700 s and 1800 s to when they were discovered. These illnesses are just as
terrifying to the families as it is to the patient. Because of the scare in the diseases,
these families wanted answers. The patients were sent to James Parkinson and Alois
Alzheimerwhich were the doctors who diagnosed these illnesses. Alois Alzheimer
was born on June 14, 1864 in a small Bavarian town in Marktbreit Germany (Alois,
A1). He was born into a catholic family and had an early interest in science. His
father was a royal notary in the kingdom of Bavaria, and because of his first wife s
death during child birth, he remarried and had 6 more children wife his deceased
wife s sister, in which Alois was the first born of his second marriage. As a young
boy, Alois had grew up being taught that the strong looked over the weak. Years later,

My Communication Skill Analysis
Notoriously, I am never been one to shy away from communication. It does not
matter whether it is an unfamiliar face or a longtime acquaintance. In any given
situation, I am always eager to share my ideas, my opinions, my views, and jokes
with everyone around me. Occasionally my eagerness hits me way too hard and I
find my words jumbled and making little sense, but I just take a deep breath and
try again. My friends always describe me as animated when I talk, especially
considering that I love to talk with my hands. Whenever I communicate, my body
moves along with the words I say and it is nearly impossible for me to be still. Other
than the interactions I have daily with others, I have little professional public
speaking experience. Many of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Already I am comfortable sharing my ideas to others but I want to take this a step
farther. I want to be able to make a compelling argument for my opinion and have
great evidence supporting why I believe in it in person instead of on paper. The
most important strategy I can use to help me develop this skill is practice. I cannot
stress to myself how important practicing will be for me. Knowing myself, I will be
quick to wait until the last minute and go on a whim when I give my speech but I do
not want to do that this time. If I want to make sure I have a strong argument with
strong support, I have to practice a hundred times over alone and in front of others.
By having the opinions of an audience before I speak to my real audience, I can
know whether my argument was compelling. Not only is practice important to
accomplish this goal, but the help of others even in the beginning stages of my
speech can offer assistance. Whenever I write a speech, I cannot be afraid to ask for
help, whether it is from a friend, speech lab, etc. For example say my draft is missing
another piece of evidence or not up to par I can ask another individual to listen to my
speech and give me some pointers. Likewise, I can ask for help from others for
places I can use to find good sources or

Today s headlines read, 35 Year Old Man s Body Found in Nature Reserve in the
Chicago Daily News. People were very interested in how this event occurred in the
first place. Through further investigation, they found out that the man was Jorge

dead since March 20, 2017. According to his parents, Elena Warner, his mother, and
his father Ervin Warner, he was an intelligent boy, on the A honor roll all throughout
high school. After high school, he went to college for a History Degree, at Chicago

no one would get suspicious. Soon they felt they needed more money, so they
thought they would strike the Museum again. They went in from the roof like they

behind them. They knew that they had got caught and they were definitely going to

The Importance Of The Minimum Drinking Age
Reagan Black
Mrs. Ledy

The National Minimum Drinking Age should remain at twenty one
The Minimum Drinking Age Act was passes by President Ronald Reagan, which
raised the minimum drinking age to twenty one. Alcohol is a very dangerous
substance especially when it is being consumed by teenagers. The establishment of
the Minimum Drinking Age Act has saved lives and is needed to stay in place to
continue saving American lives every year. The United States Constitution is
designed to protect the citizens and their unalienable rights. The minimum drinking
age law protects the citizen s the same way the minimum driving and voting ages are
established. The National Minimum Drinking Age Actshould remain at twenty one
because it is protecting the lives of American Citizens. If the drinking age is
lowered to eighteen, the number of deaths caused by teen drinking and driving
would increase. It has been proven many times that when the drinking age was
raised American lives were spared. According to the National Highway Traffic and
Safety Administration in only sixteen years (1882 1898) 14,886 lives were saved by
the establishment of the drinking age at twenty one. In this time frame the least
amount of lives saved in one year was 578 (DeJong). This law prevents inexperienced
drivers from taking the wheel while intoxicated. Teenagers alone get into more
accidents than mature adults, with the influence of alcohol the odds of them getting
into an accident are

Generational Differences Between Baby Boomers And
Millennials
Today, the workforce is made up of many different generations, which is affecting
and effectively changing the workplace culture as a whole. The major generational
differences between millennials and baby boomers can be either positive or
negative depending on whom you ask. Boomers may categorize millennials as lazy
and entitled, while millennials may call themselves innovative. No matter what they
call themselves or each other, they all have to work together now as simply as that.
This topic has sparked a lot of discussion as to how it s best for each generationto act
and deal with their other generational coworkers.
Workplace culture is the way your company operates and the personality it possesses.

Companies need new strategies to utilize the strengths of each employee. Once
boomers do retire there will be a large void in the workforce since there is so many
of them. This will create another change in business culture because younger people
will be needed to fill those spots.
All of these situations are becoming more and more common in the new workforce.
In order for a business to run smoothly all of the workers, managers and
subordinates need to be able to find common ground to accomplish the set tasks.
There is no avoiding your coworkers so this is inevitable.
I don t see the change of culture to stop anytime soon. I believe that people will
continue to develop new ideas to make things easier and faster. There are also more
generations entering the workforce, and while one may think that they are similar
because they know technology they are all vastly different. The old saying of turning
into your mother/father may come true for the millennials as they become older in
the workforce. I can see there always being disagreements among different
generations because each thinks that their way is better. Still, people will obviously
need to learn to work together and adjust to different generational
Pursuing A Post Secondary Education
Pursuing a post secondary education is very important because without that extra
education you will not be able to get as good of a career as you would with a post
secondary education. With that extra education you have more opportunities of
higher paying jobs and healthcare coverage. Also when students go to collegethey
have a chance to listen to the Professors lecture on their personal field of study, so
they know what they are talking about. With a college degree you are also open to
more promotion opportunities. Also when you go into the college life it is a time
where you get a big taste of the real world, you start to be independent, learn to save
money and pay bills.
My career goal is to get a Master s degree in Music Therapy, an Associates in Music,

enough to pursue that path. So I went to a college with my school choir and I
learned about music therapy and how it can heal and calm people. After I heard
about it I knew that, that s what I wanted to do, I wanted to make music and help
people. So I looked more into that path and found out that it is a growing career and
is becoming more and more popular. So now I am planning on going to a two year

Parking Spaces In Miami
All the residents of Miami are facing the problem of finding a perfect parking
space. It is either the parking lot is full, or it is way too expensive. People are
considering, as the community, we need to increase the parking spaces by
building new ones, but it would encourage more cars on the road, which will
become an endless circle of problems. City planners are thinking of new ways of
extending the parking spaces without giving any reasons to the people of buying
more cars in Miami. Seems the only solution is to encourage people to use their
cars less, but with 2.7 million residents, it is impossible. In the 2017 Global Parking

Anti Federalist And Anti-Federalists In The Constitutional...
During the Constitutional Convention of 1787, there were a number of opposing
opinions about how best to resolve the problems with the Articles of Confederation,
but ultimately, the fifty five delegates present at the convention fell into one of two
groups: federalists or anti federalists. The Federalists wanted to dispose of the
Articles of Confederation altogether and ratify the Constitution in order to better
unite the thirteen states and form a stronger central government. Conversely, the Anti
Federalists opposed this new Constitution on the basis that it gave too much power to
the federal government, so they supported amending the Articles of Confederation
instead of drafting new legislation. While those who did not want to ratify the
Constitution were grouped together under the title of Anti Federalist , delegates had
different reasons for holding this stance; one faction believed that stronger
government threatened the sovereignty of the states, another thought this new
government would too closely model the despotism of Great Britain, and another
feared that this new government would threaten individual liberties (The Great). One
particular section of the proposed Constitution that Anti Federalists were concerned
with was Article III that outlined the judicial power of the United Statesand advocated
a strong central court system. Anti Federalists feared too much power would be
granted to the Supreme Court of the United Statesand limit the power of state courts.
Wife Of Bath s Tale By Chaucer
In The Wife of Bath s Tale by Chaucer, a story is told by the Wife of Bath in an
attempt to show the one thing it is that women most desire (911). Although the Wife
of Bath uses this story as an allegory to show that men are why things do not work
out between a couple and that women should hold some power in decision making,
she ironically contradicts herself throughout the tale, as well as the conclusion after
the tale. Through this contradiction and irony, the Wifeof Bath s attempt to portray the
benefit of mutual respect in a relationship is questioned and the virtues she associates
with the actions made are then compared to her own. This tale begins with a knight
that is traveling and notices a fair maiden walking by herself. The... Show more

I do not care now which one of the two; What pleases you suffices now for me. (1236

This is the knight displaying what he learned earlier, which was that women want to
have control over their husbands. Since the knight has allowed the old woman to
choose what is best for the both of them, she decides to reward him for his
submissiveness with being both beautiful and faithful. The Wife of Bath ends the tale
with the two living happily together for the remainder of their lives. After the tale, the
Wife of Bath mentions her interpretation of the moral very briefly, stating that
husbands should be meek and young and fresh in bed,
And the grace to outlive those whom we wed;
I pray that Jesus may shorten the lives
Of those who won t be governed by their wives; (1265 1268)
This contradicts the moral that was evident at the end of the tale, which was that
showing respect would, in turn, earn respect. Since the knight gives the foul
woman the choice of how they will live, she chooses to be a good wife to him. The
Wife of Bath appears to have completely missed that part of the tale, and instead
focus on what she wants after being treated poorly by her fifth

The Science and the Laws Impacting Human Cloning Essay

Human cloning, long the subject of science fiction, is today a practical reality. Recent
breakthroughs, most renowned the cloning of a sheep from an adult cell in Scotland
in 1997, have caused the world to acknowledge that human cloning is indeed possible.
Governments around the world immediately attempted to address the issue of human
cloning, with varying levels of success. At the same time the pace of cloning
technology continued to accelerate.
This paper will first examine the development of the technology that makes human
cloning possible and the scientific uncertainties surrounding it. While this paper does

In complex organisms, cells undergo a process of differentiation where genes not
necessary for the functioning of a particular cell are turned off. The unique
differentiated state of a cell depends on its particular combination of regulatory
proteins2. While cells may differentiate to perform a number of different functions,
each cell still contains the entire DNA sequence necessary to become any kind of
cell. The general consensus was that all embryo cells hold the potential to become
any type of cell, but older fetal and adult cells could only express the genes that have
already been turned on3. Until recently many scientists believed that once a cell
differentiates, it is forever specialized
Based on this preceding assumption, previous cloning research, which dates as far
back as 1890, focused on splitting the embryos of animals at early stages of
development to produce identical organisms4. As early as 1952, scientists were
able to clone many species of animals through a process of nuclear transfer of
embryonic nuclei. This process was only limited to producing identical versions of
organism in the embryonic stage, however. Scientists could produce a series of
identical clones at the time of fertilization, but could not actually clone an adult
organism, which is the reason cloning is desirable in the first place and so very
controversial. The real

High School Football Effects
When you think about football, what do you think about? Do you think about
sportsmanship? Team building? Or Friendship? Well that s great and all, but the fact
is high school football has long lasting negative effects on the mind and body, as
well as many short term effects on the mind and body. There are three main type of
mental/physical effects that are consequences of playing football. First there s the
external physical effects, these are more along the lines of short termeffects because
they go away. Second, there s internal physical effects, these affect the internal setup
of the body, such as broken bones and torn ligaments/muscles. Finally, there s mental
effects, because injuries happen they can sometimes confuse the player, and make
him afraid of what might happen. Most of the time this is the reason why those
players get hurt again.
When you think of external injuries you may think cuts and bruises, and they re right
but they could be potentially life threatening cuts, and bruises that suggest the player
broke a bone. In fact, over 500,000 high school football injuries occurred in the 2014
2015 school year alone. These injuries could vary from deep cuts to broken noses.

it does have its positive aspects, like keeping people in shape. But that doesn t

Instances where Music Has Been Influenced by Politics
Music has always been tied to what has been happening to in the world around its
creator. This is true for classical music, as well as popular (pop) music. Pop music
is music that is mass marketed and shared primarily by recordings. The Emergence
of pop music occurred because of the invention of three recording devices, the
phonograph cylinder (1878), the flat gramophone record (1887), and the Player
piano (1896). Musicians like James Reese Europe had to find ways to allow himself
(and other African Americans) able to perform, as well as get his musicheard.
Shostakovich had to work within Stalin s Social Realism. Ravel s La Valse is a
reaction the War in Europe. In many ways has music has been influenced by the
politics of the time these are the three composers I am going to focus on. James
Reese Europe lived from 1880 1919. He studied music theory and violin from the
Assistant Director of the United States Marine Corps Band. When he was 22 he
moved to New York, where he was able to get some work but not a whole lot. This
was due to his African heritage. So, he responded by creating the Clef Club. The
Clef Club was a multipurpose organization; it served as social club, a booking
agency, and a trade union for African American musicians in New York City.
Through this club, he was able to stage concerts at Carnegie Hall with 125 piece
orchestras. In 1913 the Castles, who were a married couple who watered down the

The tight quarters back there, the low ceiling broken by a skylight, and the glossy

Drinking at Cervo s means leaving familiar landmarks behind. Most of the wines

The Role Of Diversity In CNN And Fox News
Speed, immediacy, global reach the Internet provides vast, new opportunities for
the distribution and reception of news. I had spent the past two weeks, Feb. 13
Feb. 28, observing the front pages of CNN and Fox News online. Because both are
powerful news networks, I focused my attention on the top featured stories
displayed on both web pages, and if stories were featured on both, did the news
networks portray the stories similarly or differently. A lot of my attention was also
focused on the diversity of both CNN and Fox News. I reviewed diversity by
analyzing the difference in headlines, content throughout the story and the writers
and reporters. Owned by Turner Broadcasting System, The Cable News Network
(CNN) was launched 35 years ago... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since announcing his candidacy for president, Trump has created an even bigger
name for himself dominating the news. And since Trump had decided to skip the
last Republican debate aired on Fox News a few weeks ago, Trump had sent a
message to Fox News showing his dominance over any event. Fox News may be
able to afford giving digs at Trump, but because it is a Republican based network
Fox News could not afford and would see much rating loss if they made a decision
to drop Trump. What Is A Trump Republican? Donald s personal attack strategy a
new frontier for GOP candidates, the headline of a story Fox News released
describing about a Trump Republican an outsider. The article is not bashing Trump
the entire time, but the interviews included talk about why Trump is not ready to be
president. During a TV interview in February, Trump mentioned the Pope s unbelief
with the danger the United States has with Mexico. Instantly, the news broke. CNN
released a story headlined Really, Donald Trump? A Fight With The Pope? Fox
News released a story shortly after headlining Trump: Pope will wish I was president
when ISIS hits Vatican. Both news networks focus the story on the interview with
Trump, but both in different ways are attacking Trump, portraying him an evil man.
CNN does this by correlating Trump bad
Contributions Of Pablo Neruda
Pablo Neruda. Influence of war, communism and love on his poetry
ВЁYou can cut all the flowers, but you cannot keep spring from comingВЁ
(Horden). There are two perspectives this quote can be observed from. First,
repression exerted by fascist dictators won t keep democracy from coming. Second,
even if you avoid temptations, love will make its way through. Pablo Neruda was
born in Chile but lived most of his life away from his country. Poems in which he
talks about being away from home will be constant during his life. Neruda started
writing at a very short age and continued to write until his death. He published his
first text at the age of 14. Neruda did only dedicate his life to writing, but also made
politics one of his passions and helped ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He wrote poems with the intention of recruiting people for the communist cause or
to encourage USSR soldiers during WWII. In a Love Song to Stalingrad, he
condemns the Nazi aggression to Russia and honors the brave (Neruda) men fighting
against fascism. This kind of political literature is a reaction to the events he
experienced during the Spanish Civil War and the horror caused by right
extremism ideals. His poems and speeches made his a referent of the Spanish
speaking left during the 1950 s and 1960 s. His activism and popularity among the
left made him become the Presidential Candidate of the Communist Party in Chile,
a position he declined. Politics also made Neruda, a poet, write not only poems but
also articles that defended the communist ideals. This had a great impact on his life.
First, boosting his political career, but ultimately having him killed. Neruda guided
his life and actions by what he believed was the best way to help the people live a
better life.
Neruda dedicated his life to politics and poetry and wrote about love, war and
communism. Pablo Neruda was a prolific poet who covered many topics during his
career and won a Nobel Prize. During his life he wrote about love at the same time
he experienced marriage or sexuality. He also used writing as a mean to express his
views and ideals and to help spread communism. Neruda was one of the main poets
of the 20th Century not only because of the quality of is works but also for the
message they conveyed. With his writing, he defended the values of liberty, equality
and democracy against the horrors of
Augustine of Hippo and Right Thing Essay
Group A: A newspaper columnist signs a contract with a newspaper chain. Several
months later she is offered a position with another newspaper chain at a higher salary.
Because she would prefer making more money, she notifies the first chain that she is
breaking her contract. The courts will decide the legality of her action. But what of
the morality? Did the columnist behave ethically? The newspaper columnist in this
problem is concerned, like most anybody, with making the best living that she can. In
her mind, the right thing to do is to go to the job that gives her the higher salary.
Although she had a contract, she notified the chain before actually leaving. In my
opinion, the columnist did behave ethically. She does what she has to... Show more

The doctor know this and wonders whether, under these unusual circumstances, she
is justified in withholding the information about the pilot s condition. In some
ways, the doctor s morals are in the right place. She wants to help the pilot in more
ways than one. While of course she wants to make sure he is healthy, she also does
not want to jeopardize his chance for retirement. The question is, is this her decision
to make? Her heart may be in the right place, but this is not her decision to make.
The pilot has the right to know what is going on with his heart and his health. If he
decides to put it off until he retires and pretend it is not there then that is his decision.
Although she is only trying to help, the pilot has the right to know, whether or not the
doctor believes he will be better off if he does not know for another month. St.
Augustine might have solved the problem in the same way. The moral thing to do is
to tell the pilot what is wrong with him, whether or not withholding the information
might help him. In this case, the doctor s reason would come first, because the
reasonable thing to do is the right thing to do. Aquinas, on the other hand, might
actually have solved the problem differently. Without worrying about feeling guilty
for not telling the pilot as soon as she found out about the heart murmur, she would
withhold the information so that the pilot can retire as he had planned. In her mind it
would be moral because she would be
Company as a Separate Legal Entity
COMPANY AS A SEPARATE LEGAL ENTITY Definition: A legal entity,
typically a business, that is defined as detached from another business or individual
with respect to accountability. A separate legal entity may be set up in the case of
a corporation or a limited liability company, to separate the actions of the entity
from those of the individual or other company. Meaning: If a business is a separate
legal entity, it means it has some of the same rights in law as a person. It is, for
example, able to enter contracts. In New Zealand, a company is a separate legal
entity from its owners (shareholders) and can, for example, be sued, and enter into
contracts in the name of the company, not the shareholders. Sole traders and

Mr. Edmund Broderip. Mr. Salomon assigned Broderip his debenture, the loan with
ten per cent interest and secured by a floating charge. But Salomon s business still
failed, and he could not keep up with the interest payments. In October 1893,
Broderip sued to enforce his security. The company was put into liquidation.
Broderip was repaid his ВЈ5,000, and the debenture was reassigned to Salomon, who
retained the floating charge over the company JUDGMENT High Court: When the
company went into liquidation, the liquidator argued that the debentures used by Mr.
Salomon as security for the debt were invalid, on the grounds of fraud. The judge,
Vaughan Williams J. accepted this argument, ruling that since Mr. Salomon had
created the company solely to transfer his business to it, the company was in reality
his agent and he as principal was liable for debts to unsecured creditors. Court Of
Appeal: The Court of Appeal also ruled against Mr. Salomon, though on the grounds
that Mr. Salomon had abused the privileges of incorporation and limited

Capuchin Monkeys
1) Introduction: Capuchin Monkeys are found in the neotropical forests of Central
America. Animal Diversity Web states that the Capuchins have, one of the widest
ranges of all New World Monkeys. Capuchin Monkeys are easily adaptable to many
different habitats. They can live in a variety of forest types, both wet and dry. The
University of Wisconsin Primate Research Center notes that, All Capuchins live in
dense habitats. They are arboreal and usually sleep on a branch. This being said
they can survive in an abundance of areas because of their some special features.

Then they proceed to slam the rock (as a tool) on the nut to crack it open.
Onekind.org mentions that the Capuchins will collect their palm nuts and then
transfer them to the anvils for the purpose of cracking them open easier. The use of
the anvil is another example of the Capuchin tool use. The Capuchins ability to
think ahead and bring the nuts to the anvil show a very skilled way of thinking in
regards to these tools. A third example of tool use in Capuchins is their use of
sticks. Onekind.org says, capuchins readily insert a stick into a tube containing
viscous food that clings to the stick, which they then extract and lick. The
Capuchins will then use the stick for other things; once they have a tool they seem
to use it for as much as possible, finding multiple different uses for it. They will use
these sticks to get their prey out from tiny spaces and also as, a rake to sweep objects
or food toward themselves.
3) Captive Capuchins The Journal of Comparative Psychology has one of Fragaszy s
studies where the Capuchins were studied in labs to try and find food hidden under
cups. The first example of this is called matching to sample. There was a small stair
set with two tiers; the bottom containing two different sized cups and the top tier
having one cup matching one of the bottom two. The experimenter would (out of the
monkeys view) put the food under the cup on the bottom tier that matched that of the
top tier. The Capuchins then had
Observation Of A Child At The Children s House
This paper details my observation of a child at The Children s house. When I
called to schedule an observation time, I decided to go when the children would
be outside engaging in activities of their choosing. When I arrived my plan was to
observe first (without interfering), then once I had the notes that I needed to write
about friendships and play, I intended to ask a child the questions that were
provided in the rubric. Initially, most of the children were scattered around
playing by themselves, in pairs or groups of 3. After observing for about 10
minutes without anything interesting happening, I was about to go to a child and
start interviewing him or her. Then a little girl who I later found out to be named
Alex gathered a group of about 5 other children to play house . Alex was taller than
all of the other children, her hair was blonde and her eyes were blue. Based off the
fact that she took the leadership role, was organizing a rule based game, and
seemed to prefer being near other children rather than adults, I estimated that she
was 5 or 6 years old. Now that I knew what game they were going to play I
hypothesized that I would observe her ability to differentiate between genders and
their roles in the game of house that the children were playing as well as assign roles
to other children. I expected to see Alex cooperate with the other children and take
their perspectives and feelings into account because according to the first social
development lecture,

5 metres of seawater until levels subsided. Luckily , Daini was less affected. The
maximum amplitude of this tsunami was 23 metres at point of origin, about 180 km
from Fukushima . At 3:42 pm, the first tsunami wave hit, followed by a second 8

Community College Trip Advantages
On February 23rd, 37 McAlester High School Juniors visited the Southeast Campus
of Oklahoma s largest community college. Tulsa Community College is not only
the state s largest community college with better than 26,000 students, it is one of
Oklahoma s most aggressive colleges offering more than 220 Associate Degrees and
professional certifications. The excursion was just one of EOSC s GEAR UP for
Success grant s annual planned collegevisits. As part of the mission of the GEAR UP
Program, students are offered tours of the various colleges and universities across
Southeastern Oklahoma s vast region. By knowing what is out there and the different
advantages and disadvantages for each of the institutions of higher education,
students are able to make better informed choices in selecting the college or university
that offers the best fit for the individual student.
The Southeast Campus of TCC offers students associate degrees in Allied Health,
Business and Information Technology, Communications, Liberal Arts, Nursing,
Performing Arts, and Science Mathematics. It is unique in that the campus consists of
nine buildings connected by a series of enclosed walkways, blending the campus
seamlessly. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

cultural opportunities offered throughout the Tulsa area. Notations were provided as
to the opportunities for students to obtain college credits while still in high school
through the concurrent enrollment program offered by most of the state s
community colleges. But what if the chosen career path leads a student to the
necessity of perusing an education beyond an Associate s Degree? Not to fear, TCC
will assist the student in securing transfer and possible scholarships to the university
which will meet the needs of today s McAlester High School

The term impersonator is considered somewhat demeaning in the acting world,
suggesting that the actor has simply copied the manner, dialect, and behavior of a
character, instead of creating the character. There are times when such a skill is
useful when a filmmaker needs a portrayal of a recognizable historical figure, for
instance, but doesn t want to distract the audience by casting a recognizable actor in

Even though he can be considered a personality actor, no one would argue that
Nicholson, who has been nominated for 12 Academy Awards and won three, is a
brilliant actor. And actors like Humphrey Bogart and Cary Grant remain popular
personalities more than half a century after their heyday. But a lesser talent who
relies too much on personality risks staying power. Will audiences 50 years from
now recognize the strength of personality? Or will it simply seemed mannered and
curious, a distraction instead of a beloved trait?
Stars
To define a star, think about a personality actor, only more so. A star is a distinctive
screen persona, who is well known and popular with the moviegoing public, often
to the point that some avid movie fans become deeply curious about the actor s
private life Hollywood has a long love affair with stars, since the days of Charlie
Chaplin and Mary Pickford. Stars are actors who are simply famous on screen and
off, personalities so magnetic that we are interested not just in their movies but in
their personal lives as well. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are both talented actors. But
they re also famous stars, so much so that tabloids and gossip sites endlessly
speculate on their relationship, their children, and every other aspect of their lives.
Obviously this has been taken to almost absurd extremes today, where Web sites
breathlessly report the content of text messages between actors and their mistresses

Determining the Ksp of Calcium Hydroxide by Titration of Saturated Ca(OH)2(aq)
with HCl(aq)
Abstract: Titration is a technique that has been used in this experiment to identify
the Ksp value of calcium hydroxide in order to determine the extent to which the
compound is soluble in water. A known volume of 50 mL of hydrochloric acid, a
concentration of 0.05 M hydrochloric acid, a volume of 50 mL calcium hydroxide
base, an unknown concentration of base and an acid base indicator (bromothymol
blue) has been used in this experiment to determine the concentration of calcium
hydroxide. From the results tabulated, a Ksp value of 1.26 x 10 7 has been retrieved

All group members began by setting up the lab by obtaining all required materials
and placing them on the lab bench. A buret was then rinsed twice with water and
once with HCl(aq). It was then filled with 30 mL of the titrant, HCl(aq). The pipet
was rinsed twice with water and once with Ca(OH)2(aq) . The pipet was filled with
10 mL of Ca(OH)2(aq) and then emptied into a flask. 20 mL of water and three
drops of indicator was added to the flask containing Ca(OH)2(aq). The flask was then
placed under the tip of the buret. The stopcock was rotated which allowed the
addition of small amounts of titrant into the flask containing calcium hydroxide
solution with bromothymol blue indicator which has a light blue appearance. In each
trial, the base was titrated to the endpoint; the endpoint was where the solution in the
flask changed colour from light blue to yellow. The buret readings were recorded
before and after the titration was completed. Finally, the titration was repeated two
more times, resulting in obtained data for all three trials. After the lab was
performed, all equipments were washed and dried well by
Christianity In Egypt Essay
The presence of Christianity in Egypt may be rapidly diminishing. As religious and
political leaders look at recent trends, there is reason to fear that religious persecution
may continue to provoke large numbers of Christians to leave Egypt. In addition to
the reported violence, the marginalization of Coptic believers may also be
contributing to these emigration trends. Jihadist groups have antagonized the
escalating incidents of violence. Jihadist groups like The Muslim Brotherhood, the
Salafi, and Wahhabis inflict terrorist style intimidation upon Coptic communities. A
focus on Jihadist operations within Egyptis instructive in measuring the form and
effect of hostility towards the Coptic population. This new level of violence has many

Copts are not emigrating abroad voluntarily.
Michael Ireland s report is relevant because it has specific figures for the population
of Copts that have left Egypt. In addition, the large number of Copts who seek refuge
here in America supports the notion that Coptic persecution should be a large focus
within international politics, as it is affecting countries other than Egypt. One
hundred thousand Christians have emigrated but how many Christians still reside in
Egypt? This is an extremely important and controversial issue. Representatives of the
church believe that Copts make up nearly 10 percent of the population. However, the
Muslim controlled Egyptian government concludes that only half of that number (5
percent) of Egypt s population is Coptic . The PEW research forum supports the
population indicated by Egypt s government.
This reference puts things into perspective, stating that one hundred thousand of the
total 4 million Copts have left Egypt. This determines that 2.5 percent of the entire
Coptic population has sought to expatriate from Egypt since only March of 2011.
That seemingly small percentage could add a seat or two among the unicameral
legislature. Those two seats could give Copts the majority, which is crucial. Still
though, for 2.5 percent of a population to decide to leave a county is a staggering
figure. This evidence supports just how destructive the intimidation

How To Write A Cause Effect Essay. awesome How to Write a Cause Effect Essay? -- Definition, Writing Steps ...

  • 1. How To Write A Cause Effect Essay Writing an essay on the intricacies of crafting a cause-effect essay may seem like a straightforward task, but delving into the nuances of the topic reveals its own set of challenges. First and foremost, the writer must possess a deep understanding of the cause-and-effect relationship, grasping the subtle connections that underlie various phenomena. This requires extensive research to gather relevant information and examples that can illustrate these relationships effectively. Crafting a coherent and engaging structure for the essay is another hurdle. A cause-effect essay demands a clear organization to present the causal chain logically. Ensuring that each cause leads to a plausible effect and vice versa, while maintaining a smooth flow throughout the essay, requires careful planning and attention to detail. Selecting suitable examples to support the arguments can be demanding as well. The writer must sift through a plethora of potential causes and effects to choose the most compelling and relevant ones. Balancing the depth of analysis with the need for brevity adds an additional layer of complexity. Moreover, maintaining a neutral and objective tone is essential, as the focus should be on presenting a factual and well-supported analysis rather than promoting personal opinions. This requires a nuanced approach to language and a meticulous review of the essay to eliminate any potential bias. In conclusion, composing an essay on the intricacies of writing a cause-effect essay is a task that demands a combination of research skills, logical thinking, and a keen understanding of the topic. It is a process that requires time, effort, and a dedication to precision. For those who find themselves struggling with such assignments, seeking assistance from professional writing services, like HelpWriting.net, can provide valuable support and ensure the delivery of high- quality essays on a variety of topics. • 2. Comparing Ancient Greek Architecture, Doric, And... As the saying goes, great art is mad with its own loveliness. Over the decades, Greek inspired architecture has been seen all over the world. Ideas are often borrowed while constructing buildings, monuments, and even houses. Greeks mostly used wood, limestone, unbaked bricks, terracotta and metal for construction. Most architecture were inspired by religion, politics, and form of recreation. Of all designs from Greek architecture three of them have withstood the test of time and their application can be seen today. They include Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian order. However, each order is distinct from the other and one cannot differentiate unless trained. This paper will look at Doric and Corinthian orders while comparing and contrasting them. It will also trace their prevalence and popularity throughout history. Doric style of architecture has been the most famous. It is used all over the world today. It is found in Parthenon and Acropolis and can be distinguished from other orders as it has vertical column and a plain roof. Colonies of south Italy and Sicily have also used it. Doric order is, however, the simplest. Roman Doric is the most common form today. This column consists of around capital which has a narrow neckband. It has a shaft that may be plain or fluted and normally rest on a base. Its entablature is structured to have a distinctive frieze with triglyphs which are an upright projecting grooved panel. This triglyph is normally set in line with each column. There
  • 3. Benefits Of Single Species Recovery Programmes World conservation is at a crossroads of judgement making and New Zealand provides an extreme example of issues and possible solutions. On the positive side, more than 30% of total land area in New Zealand has been set aside for as National Parks (DOC, n.d.) and various reserved land and is run by the Department of Conservation. Single species recovery programmes have been successful with the use of eradication of offshore islands pests to for reintroduction of threatened onshore species such as the Kakapo on Cod fish island. However, this is in marked contrast to biodiversity decline with up to 50% of native birds threatened due to introduced pests such as mustelids and possums. With legislation (Conservation Act 1987), public opinion and changes in current practices, conservation and development might be able to coexist to a point where each can be sustainable (Craig, 2000). Brief history of land conservation in New Zealand till 1969 New Zealand is a special place as it was the last major land form to be settled as it is separated by large oceans so was largely unknown. Before the first settlers arrived, the country had been isolated for some 85 million years with the result of different plant life, large and flightless birds as well as no ground living mammals ( Conservation a history , n.d.). With the early Maori and European settlers bringing in mammals for sport and food, this had a devastating effect on the endemic wildlife population with up to 40% of species

  • 5. The Aztec Of Aztec Life The Aztecs are really interesting people that were alive back from 1400 1600 AD. They lived very different than us, because we don t no human sacrifices because we don t believe in any of the gods (due to science)This paper will show how the Aztecs lived, including their empire, Government and Agriculture. The first interesting thing about the Aztecs is their daily routine. Aztecfamily life was very similar to many modern day cultures. For example, the husband was primarily responsible for supporting the family and the wife s role was to provide the family with clothing and food. As such, the Aztec daily life for many of the men was to farm or engage in craftwork. The female Aztec life, on the other hand, mainly consisted of weaving and cooking. The Aztecs were a culture that settled in the Valley of Mexico during the early 14th century. By the 15th century the Aztecs had developed into a very powerful culture with many daily activities that spanned the ages. These activities were divided among gender and age with the males farming and crafting, the females weaving and preparing food, and the children attending school for training in Aztec religion and war. The second interesting thing about the Aztecs is their empire. Many years after the Mexica people first built their proud city, Tenochtitlan (later to become Mexico City), they formed an alliance with two other cities Texcoco (Tetzcoco) and Tlacopan. This Triple Alliance was to rule the Valley of Mexico until the

  • 7. The Effects Of Cognitive Deficits On Children Children in institutional care such as foster care or adoption are at a heightened risk for poor psychosocial outcomes. These risks include psychopathology, substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, academic failure and problems with peers. Their poor performance may result from their experiences of either maltreatment or abuse. Given that this population of children has poor long term outcomes, their deficits in cognitive functioning will assist in the development of more suitable interventions and psychotherapeutic treatment services. This study examined deficits in memory using a sample of 5 to 12 year old maltreated foster/adoption children (n=20) and a comparison group of same aged, nonmaltreated children living with their biological... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Since this is a huge problem in the legal system, there has been a huge debate on whether or not the reports of recovering memories of abuse can be authentic, since human memory is susceptible to distortion. These types of memories can either help or hurt people in the system for example prosecuting an innocent person who was accused of being an abuser. However, very few studies have been done on the population of at risk children such as those in foster care or adoption. Children in foster care and adoption are a unique group that deserves research recognition. This population of children faces a long term life of consequences because of the maltreatment, abuse and neglect. The importance of being able to understand what child maltreatment and neglect is crucial because of the danger it can cause a child. Child maltreatment is an urgent public health problem for many reasons. This paper expects to investigate the negative effects of early maltreatment/abuse on social and psychological functioning. Literature Review Emotion Understanding and Theory of Mind At risk children such as maltreated and abused children are at a higher risk of poor psychosocial outcomes such as substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, academic failure, and future problems with peer relations (Pears Fisher, 2005). This study looked at the deficits in memory abilities among abused and maltreated children and suggested that being in foster care was

What are the strengths and weaknesses you perceive in your ethnic group? I am very lucky in that I grew up in a household that ethnicity was never discussed. I always believed (as my parents did) that everyone was equal. I think this was definitely a strength in that I never looked down on anyone. I can say the only weakness that my ethnic group would have is those that do look down upon other ethnic groups. I did not witness this from anyone (that I remember) until I was an adult. 5.What ethnic groups lived in your home environment when you were growing up? I reported to the 36th Engineer Brigade (Stay Rugged) headquarters were I was greeted by a tall and stout older gentleman, SGM (Sergeants Major) Lewis. I was due to report to the 8th Engineer Battalion as they were in need dire need of experienced 12B s (Combat Engineers) but upon looking over my credentials he decided to keep me at HQ, and to complete this backdoor transaction by effectively swapping me for Specialist (SPC) Parker. I instantly felt dread crawl upon my skin as I was now committed to the S3 section of soldiers. This couldn t be, I felt as though my talents were completely wasted performing administrative tasks and too make matters worse I had 1SG (First Sergeant) Sparger, I thought I had officially had front row seats on the bad luck train and I was the sole passenger, little did I know that this would catapult my military career further than I had hoped for S3 Shop1 I had arrived to the unit thirty pounds heavier and with a severe lack of motivation, my goal was to fly under the radar and complete this term as quietly as possible. 1SG yelled Specialist Bell in my office time now my heart raced as I ran to his door I knocked he replied with a swift and stern Enter I eased in gave

When I was six, they convinced my mom to bring her family to America. After six months of testing and vetting, we were on our way to Alaska. As a six year old I did not think much of it, not until it was actually happening. When we were driving to the airportI had a moment of realization that I was going to be riding in an airplane for the first time of my life. It was always my dream to go inside an airplane because everyday of my life in the Philippines, I would see airplanes flying high above our house everyday, and I would always imagine myself inside the airplane and what it looks like. To this day, I still have a vivid memory of my first experience traveling in an airplane. My first time flying was a defining moment in my life because it was the beginning of the transition to my new life in a new country. After getting through all the security checks and screening checks, we finally reached the actual fun part of the airport. I found out that waiting in the airport was an actual experience itself. It was basically a mall with designer stores like Prada and Rolex. As my sister and I were looking at expensive jewelry in the one of the airport stores, my mom called us to get in line for boarding. My heart started to pound faster and faster as we got closer to the kiosque because I knew that I was getting closer and closer

There are many places that can help with your hygiene like dentists or orthodontist. So are you really taking care of your personal hygiene? Personal hygiene is very important for many reasons. One reason is if you don t take care of your teeth, they could rot and possibly fall out. This would not be enjoyable because you would have to get false teeth or just never have teeth. It would be very challenging to eat without teeth. This could also result in having to pay very large amounts of money. Another reason hygiene is important is your hair. • 15. Shakespeare As A Modern Comedy William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright and actor. He is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world s pre eminent dramatist. He is often called England s national poet and the Bard of Avon. Shakespeare has written many plays during his time. He wrote poems, tragedies, and of course some of his most known plays are comedies. What made Shakespeare so popular? Why are his comedies so well known? How did his way of writing comedies form the way others wrote and continue to write in the years after him? These are some questions many educators and students want to understand while studying Shakespeare. Focusing on his writing within his most popular comedies, Shakespeare has formed literature into what it is today. When the first collected edition of Shakespeare s plays, the First Folio, was published in 1623, its contents page divided them into three categories: comedies, histories and, tragedies. The list of comedies included Measure for Measure and The Merchant of Venice, plays that modern audiences and readers have not found particularly funny. Also included were two late plays, The Tempest and The Winter s Tale, that critics often now classify as romances (Mullan). If we ask ourselves what these four plays have in common with those such as As You Like It or Twelfth Night; which we are used to calling comedies, the answer gives us a clue to the meaning of comedyfor many of Shakespeare s educated contemporaries. All of them

Her shot didn t fell it, though, and there was very little blood to track. The king joined in the search, combing the forest floor for a trail of blood they knew would be close by. A less perceptive hunter would have missed the glint that caught his attention. Arthur knelt in a comfortable squat and picked up a silver ring tied to a leather cord. When he recognized the object, Guinevere s matching wedding band, the world closed in around him, all the times he kissed her, held her, vexed her, laughed with her, and every other moment in between spontaneously flash within his mind. The trail lost all meaning. What fickle chance had he of finding that ring, now discarded and forgotten on the forest floor in the middle of nowhere? What was Fate trying to tell him? The Role of Federal Agencies in Fighting Digital Crime The Secret Service, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and other law enforcement agencies have similar challenges when fighting computer crimes and terrorism due to the recent development of computer technologies as well as constant threats. Federal law enforcement agencies and local law enforcement agencies have different responsibilities that work independently instead of on the same level, which can make it difficult to coordinate and cooperate to fight against computer crimes and terrorist threats. Local law enforcement agencies deal with more challenges than federal law enforcement agencies, which includes getting the necessary training, equipment, updated criminal codes designed to complement current enforcement efforts, and resources. The lack of training in computer crimes for most of local law enforcement agencies is a serious issue when trying to prosecute computer crimes. Untrained patrol officers can easily destroy computer evidence by accident, and cause the criminal to go free because there is no evidence linking the computer crime to the criminal. Local law enforcement agencies aren t capable of deciphering encrypted computer evidence as federal law enforcement agencies are due to the fact that they don t receive enough funding to get equipment to read encrypted evidence. The constant changes in computer technology have hindered legislative attempts to pass laws that are current and can apply it to the use of these new technologies. Computer crimes would be

Companies need new strategies to utilize the strengths of each employee. Once boomers do retire there will be a large void in the workforce since there is so many of them. This will create another change in business culture because younger people will be needed to fill those spots. All of these situations are becoming more and more common in the new workforce. In order for a business to run smoothly all of the workers, managers and subordinates need to be able to find common ground to accomplish the set tasks. There is no avoiding your coworkers so this is inevitable. I don t see the change of culture to stop anytime soon. I believe that people will continue to develop new ideas to make things easier and faster. There are also more generations entering the workforce, and while one may think that they are similar because they know technology they are all vastly different. The old saying of turning into your mother/father may come true for the millennials as they become older in the workforce. I can see there always being disagreements among different generations because each thinks that their way is better. Still, people will obviously need to learn to work together and adjust to different generational

Pursuing A Post Secondary Education Pursuing a post secondary education is very important because without that extra education you will not be able to get as good of a career as you would with a post secondary education. With that extra education you have more opportunities of higher paying jobs and healthcare coverage. Also when students go to collegethey have a chance to listen to the Professors lecture on their personal field of study, so they know what they are talking about. With a college degree you are also open to more promotion opportunities. Also when you go into the college life it is a time where you get a big taste of the real world, you start to be independent, learn to save money and pay bills. My career goal is to get a Master s degree in Music Therapy, an Associates in Music, and a Major in Psychology. The reason I chose this path is because originally I wanted to be a Vet. Since I was a little girl, then my eleventh grade year my grandparents in Louisiana I was living with convinced me that I wasn t smart enough to pursue that path. So I went to a college with my school choir and I learned about music therapy and how it can heal and calm people. After I heard about it I knew that, that s what I wanted to do, I wanted to make music and help people. So I looked more into that path and found out that it is a growing career and is becoming more and more popular. So now I am planning on going to a two year university to get my Associates degree in Music and my general studies all done, then go

  • 34. Anti Federalist And Anti-Federalists In The Constitutional... During the Constitutional Convention of 1787, there were a number of opposing opinions about how best to resolve the problems with the Articles of Confederation, but ultimately, the fifty five delegates present at the convention fell into one of two groups: federalists or anti federalists. The Federalists wanted to dispose of the Articles of Confederation altogether and ratify the Constitution in order to better unite the thirteen states and form a stronger central government. Conversely, the Anti Federalists opposed this new Constitution on the basis that it gave too much power to the federal government, so they supported amending the Articles of Confederation instead of drafting new legislation. While those who did not want to ratify the Constitution were grouped together under the title of Anti Federalist , delegates had different reasons for holding this stance; one faction believed that stronger government threatened the sovereignty of the states, another thought this new government would too closely model the despotism of Great Britain, and another feared that this new government would threaten individual liberties (The Great). One particular section of the proposed Constitution that Anti Federalists were concerned with was Article III that outlined the judicial power of the United Statesand advocated a strong central court system. Anti Federalists feared too much power would be granted to the Supreme Court of the United Statesand limit the power of state courts.

Although the Wife of Bath uses this story as an allegory to show that men are why things do not work out between a couple and that women should hold some power in decision making, she ironically contradicts herself throughout the tale, as well as the conclusion after the tale. The Wife of Bath ends the tale with the two living happily together for the remainder of their lives. The Wife of Bath appears to have completely missed that part of the tale, and instead focus on what she wants after being treated poorly by her fifth

In complex organisms, cells undergo a process of differentiation where genes not necessary for the functioning of a particular cell are turned off. The unique differentiated state of a cell depends on its particular combination of regulatory proteins2. While cells may differentiate to perform a number of different functions, each cell still contains the entire DNA sequence necessary to become any kind of cell. The general consensus was that all embryo cells hold the potential to become any type of cell, but older fetal and adult cells could only express the genes that have already been turned on3. Until recently many scientists believed that once a cell differentiates, it is forever specialized Based on this preceding assumption, previous cloning research, which dates as far back as 1890, focused on splitting the embryos of animals at early stages of development to produce identical organisms4. As early as 1952, scientists were able to clone many species of animals through a process of nuclear transfer of embryonic nuclei. This process was only limited to producing identical versions of organism in the embryonic stage, however. Scientists could produce a series of identical clones at the time of fertilization, but could not actually clone an adult organism, which is the reason cloning is desirable in the first place and so very controversial. This is true for classical music, as well as popular (pop) music. Pop music is music that is mass marketed and shared primarily by recordings. The Emergence of pop music occurred because of the invention of three recording devices, the phonograph cylinder (1878), the flat gramophone record (1887), and the Player piano (1896). Musicians like James Reese Europe had to find ways to allow himself (and other African Americans) able to perform, as well as get his musicheard. A known volume of 50 mL of hydrochloric acid, a concentration of 0.05 M hydrochloric acid, a volume of 50 mL calcium hydroxide base, an unknown concentration of base and an acid base indicator (bromothymol blue) has been used in this experiment to determine the concentration of calcium hydroxide. From the results tabulated, a Ksp value of 1.26 x 10 7 has been retrieved indicating that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All group members began by setting up the lab by obtaining all required materials and placing them on the lab bench. A buret was then rinsed twice with water and once with HCl(aq). It was then filled with 30 mL of the titrant, HCl(aq). The pipet was rinsed twice with water and once with Ca(OH)2(aq) . The pipet was filled with 10 mL of Ca(OH)2(aq) and then emptied into a flask. 20 mL of water and three drops of indicator was added to the flask containing Ca(OH)2(aq). The flask was then placed under the tip of the buret. The stopcock was rotated which allowed the addition of small amounts of titrant into the flask containing calcium hydroxide solution with bromothymol blue indicator which has a light blue appearance. In each trial, the base was titrated to the endpoint; the endpoint was where the solution in the flask changed colour from light blue to yellow. The buret readings were recorded before and after the titration was completed. Finally, the titration was repeated two more times, resulting in obtained data for all three trials. After the lab was performed, all equipments were washed and dried well by
  • 53. Christianity In Egypt Essay The presence of Christianity in Egypt may be rapidly diminishing. As religious and political leaders look at recent trends, there is reason to fear that religious persecution may continue to provoke large numbers of Christians to leave Egypt. In addition to the reported violence, the marginalization of Coptic believers may also be contributing to these emigration trends. Jihadist groups have antagonized the escalating incidents of violence. Jihadist groups like The Muslim Brotherhood, the Salafi, and Wahhabis inflict terrorist style intimidation upon Coptic communities. A focus on Jihadist operations within Egyptis instructive in measuring the form and effect of hostility towards the Coptic population. This new level of violence has many ... Michael Ireland s report is relevant because it has specific figures for the population of Copts that have left Egypt. In addition, the large number of Copts who seek refuge here in America supports the notion that Coptic persecution should be a large focus within international politics, as it is affecting countries other than Egypt. One hundred thousand Christians have emigrated but how many Christians still reside in Egypt? This is an extremely important and controversial issue. Representatives of the church believe that Copts make up nearly 10 percent of the population. However, the Muslim controlled Egyptian government concludes that only half of that number (5 percent) of Egypt s population is Coptic . The PEW research forum supports the population indicated by Egypt s government. This reference puts things into perspective, stating that one hundred thousand of the total 4 million Copts have left Egypt. This determines that 2.5 percent of the entire Coptic population has sought to expatriate from Egypt since only March of 2011. That seemingly small percentage could add a seat or two among the unicameral legislature. Those two seats could give Copts the majority, which is crucial. Still though, for 2.5 percent of a population to decide to leave a county is a staggering figure. This evidence supports just how destructive the intimidation
