3. Text Books
Physics Matters (Marshal Cavendish)
Introduction to IGCSE Physics
A course of O Level chemistry
(Christopher N. Prescott)
4. Why choose Cambridge IGCSE?
Learners develop not only knowledge
and understanding, but also skills in creative
thinking, enquiry and problem solving,
helping them to perform well and prepare for
the next stage of their education.

8. Key words
•
•
Here is a list of keywords . Examiner can
assess a student by using the following terms
Define, state, relate, locate, explain, select,
suggest, interpret, observe, manipulate, recall,
draw, plot, evaluate, predict, deduce………….
Emphasis on the true meaning of the above
mentioned words and more of the same type.
9. How to teach IGCSE Physics
•
•
•
Being a teacher my believe is that every
student has its own style of learning.
We have to understand the student's
psychology before teaching a certain lesson.
In 21st century u can't teach just using white
board only
10. Different style of learning
Group discussion
Project based learning
Kinesthetic
Auditory learning
Visual learning
Work sheets
11. Different style of learning
Flash cards
Practical work
Simulations
Animation
Videos
Past paper practice
Tricky problems
13. What a Teacher must have to do
Always give/show Cambridge syllabus to your
students in class in your introductory lessons
Strictly follow the Cambridge syllabus in your
classes
consult more than two book to prepare your
lesson
Reinforce the previous one before starting the
new one
14. What a Teacher must have to do
Emphasize on the past paper practice, telling
them how to handle tricky questions
Give ample time to make an assessment paper
and not just copy and paste questions from
past papers
Tell the students that which facts are to be
learned and which ones to be understood
Make some arrangements for the weak
students of the class
15. What a Teacher must have to do
Always add some new challenging questions
in your questions paper
Make corrections on marked papers not just
mark paper
Follow the marking scheme strictly and don’t
be biased while marking the paper
Make your class interesting by using new
methodologies
16. What I think
A teacher who makes physics boring is
criminal (Prof : Walter MIT)
And I don’t want to become a criminal!!!!
A true sign of intelligence is not knowledge
but imagination (Albert Einstein)
