In 1775, the British Governor Walter Patterson persuaded the islanders to carry the mail to Nova
Scotia in the same way. These voyages became important to the colonies, since they proved that the

of language is that it gives meaning to things. Another strength is how it can be mixed and used to

Language can be used to express anything. Emotion is one of the most important things that can be
expressed by the use of language. There are numerous emotions, of which some cannot be expressed
with the just the body language. A warm smile is the universal language of kindness. William Arthur
