DESIGN TIPS
• height for newly built premises ≥ 3,00 m
• height for pre-existing premises ≥ 2,70 m
• minimum height of emergency exits - 2,00 m
• emergency doors width ≥ 0,80 m (depending on the
relationship between premise dimension and level of
crowding)
• retail mezzanine floor area ≤ 2/3 of the room surface
• minimum height above and below the mezzanine ≥ 2,40 m
(average height ≤ 2.20 m for sloped roofs)
