How effective is the combination of
 your main product and ancillary
               texts?
Font & Colours
I used the same font in my trailer, poster and website.
This meant that the audience would automatically
associate my film with that particular font without even
needing to see the film title. Because the font itself is
distressed and could look like blood, it works well to
promote tension and suspense.

The colour scheme of black, white and red work well
together because of the contrast between them. The
audience will always be able to read what is written on
the website etc. Because black and red typically suggest
danger, and in reds case, blood, they fit well with the
tone and genre of the film.
Continuity
Including the same images in the trailer and the
website meant that the audience were able to easily
link the two together. They knew that they were
looking at the right trailer for the film and vice versa.

This link could be improved by including a still image
from the film in the poster to fully link the three
products together.
Overall I think my three products combine very
effectively. The fonts, colours and images are all the
same, and therefore show the audience that they all
belong to the same film.

These could be improved by perhaps including the
tagline in the poster and website to help it stick in the
audiences minds. It may also have been beneficial to
link to the website in either the trailer or the poster in
order to help the audience find it. Finally I should have
included information on the BBFC certificate in the
trailer and website instead of just the poster, this would
have given the audience all the information needed in
order to want to watch the film.
