EXCEPT, NOT TRUE, FALSE, etc.
 For Maps, Charts, Pictures  Read
TITLES and KEYS!
 Use the Test! Look back at maps,
pictures, etc. to find information to
help you.

3.  Use process of elimination. Use the tools
to cross out wrong answers. Narrow it
down before guessing.
 Look at ALL choices. Be careful of “all of
the above”
 Be careful with absolute words such as
ALWAYS, ALL the TIME, NEVER, etc.
 There will be distracters. Don’t pick them!
