What Is The Difference Between Normative And Technical...
Part A: What is the difference between normative and technical rationality?
Moral dimension in leadership is depend on normative rationality. Normative rationality is a
rationality based on what we believe and what we consider to be good. Technical rationality is a
rationality based on what is effective and efficient. Both normative and technical rationality have
value however when they are in conflict, normative rationality should always be used. Normative
rationality is center of the moral dimension. Normative rationality is relying on beliefs and what
one considers to be good. On the other hand, technical rationality is relying on bureaucratic
authority and psychological authority. Normative rationality is relying on beliefs and what one
considers to be good. In the technical rationality, position based on research findings such as data,
but there are reasons for one s position in the normative rationality. Technical rationality focuses
accumulation of knowledge, orderliness, efficiency and effectiveness. In contrast, normative
rationality focuses loyalty, harmony, honor, beauty, and trust. Normative rationality is based upon
the purpose and values the group shares. As a school s values become more public and persuasive
the school s culture is strengthened and its rationality become more legitimate. Also, normative
rationality has strong sense of community. Everyone in the school work together and they are
members of a learning community. However, technical rationality

Aristotle Voluntary And Involuntary Act Summary
In Book III Chapter one of The Nicomachean Ethnics, Aristotle has his explanation of the meaning
of the voluntary act and involuntary act. He thinks the criterion for judging whether a man should
be held accountable for one of his actions was whether he had acted voluntarily. As the main idea of
book three moral virtue, Aristotle starts his discussion from point out the issue of moral
responsibility, which can be considered as a basis of moral virtue, because if a man cannot be
responsible for the action he did, then theoretically the discussion is superfluous. For example, the
person was carried by the wind; then his behavior does not have any moral significance. Therefore,
Aristotle wants to make a distinction between the voluntary actions and the involuntary actions, that
is, for the moral responsibility to draw a piece of their territory, as a basis to talk about other... Show

acts A and B have more initiatives than the latter, and the two acts C and D seems too passive,
and closer to the involuntary actions but still because of its will. However, C and D can clearly
reflect the meaning of the mixed actions, that is, in a situation, we are willing to make the choice
which is voluntarily, but if it is in a different situation, then it against our wills. In this case, A
should be praise; B should be blamed because Aristotle thinks this is characteristic of wicked; C
cannot get the praise, but because of the pressure, it can get away from the blame. However, that
does not mean the action is right; D. cannot be forgiven because the fear we have of this kind of

Essay on Taoism and Nature In Chinese Medicine
One of the oldest and most complete medical systems ever developed is traditional Chinese
medicine. The Taoist ideas and the importance of nature have been intertwined with Chinese
Medicine from the ancient beginnings of Chinese culture. Tao or way, is the major idea of Taoism:
Man models himself on earth, earth on heaven, heaven on the way, and the way on that which is
naturally so . Taoism teaches that human beings should be in harmony with nature, that is, with Tao
(Y). Taoism celebrates the forces of nature and recognizes the interplay of yin and yangin all things.
The Taoist principles of Yin Yang, the eight principles, Chi energy, and the five elements are tools
used in Chinese medicine to comprehend the web of phenomena as it... Show more content on

This emphasis on perception of pattern is based on Taoist thought, which altogether lacks the
idea of a creator and the concern of which is insight into the web of phenomena, not a
comprehension of the weaver (Freeman, 311). The Taoist doctrine of balance and harmony or
Yin Yang is the primary guideline for Chinese medicine. All existence and activity, including
health and disease, can be explained by the interactions of yin and yang (Lu, 7). According to
Chinese medicine illnesses are caused by imbalances between the body s nutritive substances,
the yin, and the functionaly activity of the body, the yang. This principle is mirrored in nature
except the imbalances between yin and yang manifest as natural disasters instead of disease.
These imbalances disrupted the flow of chi along the body s energy pathways, known as
meridians. Chi is believed to be the vital energy or life force that drives every cell in the body.
Physical, emotional, and mental harmony rely on the unobstructed flow of chi. The Role of the
five elements of nature (wood, water, metal, earth, and fire) is also recognized by Chinese
medication. The five elements are a subdivision of yin and yang. Each element denotes a category
of related functions and qualities and allows additional tools for diagnosis. The elements allow
distinctions concerning the direction of change of the yin and yang. The eight principles must also
be comprehended and addressed if the patient is to be made healthy and

My Style Of Writing, One Needs For First Think About A Lab...
In order to best describe my style of writing, one needs to first think about a lab dissection. My
portfolio is a collection of literary imperfections, but, more importantly, it is a good example of one
writer s journey on refining himself and how he analyzes literature. The writings attached show how
I got progressively more particular with my writing. Theses documents are good evidence of how
my writing grew to become more in depth and challenging. I tend to take a literary work that I
have either read or watched. I focus my writing on the process of scrutinizing the main character.
More specifically, I center on their importance to the author and his ability to effectively represent
his message.
The first step in a dissection is to examine the species. This is where one gets familiar with what
they are working on. In terms of how I write, this is where I tend to take the time to outline and
focus specific points in the text that may be valuable to my paper. Formally called a pre write ,
this is when my paper is in its infantile stage of development. I do not focus on grammar or
sentence structure. I am simply gathering ideas from my mind on to paper. Often times, the
majority of what I write in this stage will get cut, but it is important that I pull out many different
quotes or ideas that may begin to relate in some way. Even though this is a very informal stage of
my paper, it is sometimes one of the most time consuming. I will write until I cannot think of

Positive Aspects Of Becoming A President
If I were to become president, right when I get into office, I would do is make some adjustments
to our education pricing. First, I would make college not so high priced, meaning not such a
high price for books and admission. Second, I would try to get private schools to not pay so
much, and since most private or charter schools manufacture their own clothes, I would also try
to get them to not make the guardian pay so much for them. The very next thing I would do is I
would set up multiple stations in every state for kids and adults to come to and get food and or
shelter. Then I would hire people to go state to state picking up the people (mostly kids) that just
want a home and we will ask them do you want to be in foster care so you can

Cheesemen Case
(Cheeseman 2013). In the case of United States v. Belmont this was a Russian business that
deposited significant amount of funds in Belmont which in turn was a private Banker, during the
early 1900 s. During this time the Russian Government would municipalized the business and
appropriated all its assets were ever they were at. Later on the mid 30 s the Russia and the United
Stateswould eventually come to a settlement and a finally settle the claim. The Soviet Union would
go on to agree, that they would not to take any steps to impose claims against American citizens to

the proposal included in the company s proxy materials for a vote at the shareholder annual

had no reasonable business intention to manufacture napalm to harm anyone, they were only doing
it because of the special politics of the managements. Therefore it wasn t the kind of regular

The Decline Of Social Skills Amongst Counterintelligence...
The Decline of Social Skills Amongst Counterintelligence Agents
When the un indoctrinated person pictures a Counterintelligence Agent, many times images of
James Bond or The Americans television show may enter their head. Individuals in the intelligence
community know this is a misconception brought on by movies, television and adventure novels. A
better example of a proper Counterintelligence Agent might be Fred Rogers (also known as Mister
Rogers). An unassuming/nonthreatening person, whose friendly, curious nature puts others, many
times a stranger, at ease. This perceived demeanor allows a Counterintelligence Agent to elicit
information undetected, or makes a potential source of information comfortable enough to trust
them with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A lack of interpersonal skills can literally determine whether someone will live or die. We need to
have the ability to start conversations with strangers, put them at ease, and convince them to report
or collect information they would not normally feel comfortable disclosing. This skill, in and of
itself is not a natural act or easily accomplished. It takes practice, but the difficulties are
exponentially amplified (if not impossible) when the agent is not comfortable with social
interactions. Another common task of a Counterintelligence Agent is elicitation, or the art of using
crafted conversation to collect information without the other participant(s) being alerted to any
compromise. Elicitation is the foundation of much of the craft of counterintelligence and the
foundation of elicitation is social competency. The bottom line is that being a successful
Counterintelligence Agent is synonymous with being able to interact casually and skillfully with
other people. Understanding why the new generation of agents appears to be socially inept we have
to look at the surrounding circumstances. We can begin by looking at how the new generation of
Counterintelligence Agent s upbringing, previous to joining the counterintelligence field, has
affected their social skills. Understanding this helps us to consider the outside factors during
nurturing that led to the social ineptness. Some of these social skill failings are from a

Examples Of Trust In The Odyssey
Trust is something that cannot be measured but rather it can be shown by action. In the story of
Odysseus, Odysseus has been changing in the course of the story, beginning of the story he didn t
trust his men and as the story progress he started to trust the people around him. In beginning of the
story, Odysseus doesn t trusthis men and thought what he was doing was right. When they landed
on the island of Aiolia, which was ruled by the god of the winds, Aiolos. After staying there for
month when they were about to leave Aiolos gives them a bag of winds , which Odysseus keep
and doesn t give his men to take a look at so they start sailing back. As they are sailing back
Odysseus falls sleep and as they get close to Ithake, his men became curious and opened... Show

This shows that Odysseus thought he was very smart and he knew what he was doing so he
didn t tell his men so which result him to go backward and all of the sailing time was wasted.
And if Odysseus told his men that he got bag of gift and don t open then there wouldn t be this
much of trouble. Sometimes you have to trust the people around otherwise you will fail in that
situation and maybe even in life. If we don t trust others then how others going to trust us. Another
example from the story is when they are at the island of the Lotus eaters. There Odysseus sends
three of his men to see if they find something on the island that can be valuable. And they wouldn t
want to leave so he told the rest of his men that if you taste the lotus then you will lose hope for
going home (Homer 8). This shows that Odysseus knew that the three men wanted to stay but he
forced them to leave because he knew or thought that since he wanted to go home then

The Evolution Of Early Human Migration
The vast early human migration could have been the starting point for what would eventually
blossom into the agricultural revolution, and the mutation that could have happened in the human
brain has a good chance of being the starting point of written language. At the time of early human
migration, humans still maintained their hunter gatherer mentality. This influenced early humans to
constantly move from one location to another in an effort to find more food. Possible mutations in
the early humanbrain could have been the beginning of organized groups of people as well as
spoken language. This brain mutation could have also influenced the development of technology
allowing for early humans to obtain more food more efficiently. Early humans

Fid Analysis Of MBA Students
Just like businesses use historical trends and history to forecast the future needs, colleges also
conduct trend analysis of actual student enrollments from previous student schedules to have a
better idea of which classes to offer the next semester. Of course, the trend analysis will guide
them so they are better prepared and schedule professors and the classroom location (due to the
number of students each classroom will hold) based prior on the enrollment numbers by class.
Incidentally, each year the college has a planned curriculum for each major, so they use the number
of students who have declared a major to determine how many classes they offer for each course
within the curriculum. Ironically, the latest college schedule... Show more content on

As a matter of fact, I decided the Goodness of Fit test for unequal expected distributions since we
have four different categories of majors with different percentages expected. In addition, if I had
chosen the Goodness of Fit test for equal expected results, the results would have been invalid as
the model selected was not applicable. Most statistical models are based on some sort of
underlying assumptions, and goodness of fit procedures are necessary in order to trust any
conclusions that are drawn from the model (Hansen, Jeske, Kirsch, 2015). As a result, the actual
number of students with Leadership as their major was 70 with the expected percentage of 40%
equates to 80 MBA students supposed to have Leadership as a major; 10 less than expected.
Similarly, the actual number of students enrolled with Finance as their major is 55 with the
expected percentage of 30% of 200 MBA students equating to 60 students expected to have
Finance as a major; 5 less than expected. In addition, the actual number of students enrolled with
Marketing as their major is 25 with the expected percentage of 20% of the MBA students equating
to 40 students expected to have Marketing as their major; which is 15 students less than expected
which is a significant difference. Ironically, there are 50 students with no major declared with

The Black Civil Rights Movement
The history of United States is drenched in the fight for equality in the society. From women to
gay rights but it is undeniable that the black civil rights was the bloodiest and most violent among
them. Two methods were used to bring message to the people: the violent or the non violent way.
Most activists and civil rights group like Martin Luther King Jr., NAACP (National Association for
the Advancement of Colored People) and CORE (Congress of Racial Equality) at that time chose
for the latter but one did not follow that lead: the infamous Black Panthers Party. Each method had
its effect on the history for the equality of African Americans. The majority of participants in the
civil rights movement chose the non violent way. Within this path, individuals and groups took
different approaches to the method. There were individual protests here and there. The prominent
of the black civil rights movement began after the Brown vs. Board of Education decision where
the Court declared state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be
constitutional. The court case brought notice to the world about the state of African Americans.
Organized Civil Rights Movements went on the rise after that. People began to apply civil
disobedienceto achieve their goals. Rosa Parks, a prominent figure in the Movement, was famous
for her action on one of her bus rides. The law back then required African Americans to sit in the
back of the bus but she refused to do

The Stages Of Middle Adulthood
Middle adulthood is defined around the age of 40 to 65 years old. It is a stage where middle
adults are experiencing some decline in their cognitive, physical, social, personality, and
psychological abilities because they are closer to death. Just like any other stage in life middle
adults experience stress, and some may even question what all have they accomplished so far?
Some of the changes middle adults face in women would be menopause which is the ceasing of
a period, for male they could suffer from heart diseases. Health is one of the main concerns of
every middle adult everywhere in addition, to money and safety. Is middle adulthood a time of
health or disease for men and women? Middle adulthood is a stage where they are healthy, but
sometimes people can have chronic diseases and illness varying from for example diabetes,
arthritis, and hypertension. Middle adults are vulnerable to certain illness and diseases because as
they get older their body would need additional nutrients to maintain their health for example, they
will need to increase their intake in calcium to prevent osteoporosis. However, it always stressed

African Americans In The 1900 s
Brendan Campbell12/8/14
In the 1900 s African Americans faced two main struggles in the South:
segregation and discrimination. Due to these hardships, the Southern African Americans migrated
North. This was called the Great Migration; which was a movement
of 6 million Southern African Americans into Northern cities like Chicago and Harlem. This
relocation led to the Harlem Renaissance in the 1920 s. The Harlem Renaissance
was a rebirth in African Americanculture through art, music, dance, and poetry. The
Great Migration influenced the Harlem Renaissance by attracting African Americans to
the North where they felt that they had more power and equality there, so they
expressed it. Writers like, James Weldon Johnson contributed... Show more content on

These newspapers got to the
South by having Northern train workers put some papers on when they were going to a
Southern location. Once they reached the South the blacks would discreetly hand the
papers to others without getting caught by previous White Slave Owners ( Chicago

Harlem to be desegregated and have nice housing; it did not meet their expectations
they had. De Facto Segregation was the unwritten practice of keeping black and whites
separated. This affected their housing, which forced them to live in slums of the city
called ghettos. Ghettos were sections of a city where a minority or an ethnic group lives
due to social, economical, or legal pressure(Liccone). The African Americans left the
South due to discrimination and Voting Restrictions. This Great Migration then led to a
rebirth of African American culture called the Harlem Renaissance.
Despite the hardships African Americans faced in Harlem, they looked at the
North as a place where they could freely express themselves. One important Harlem
Renaissance writer was James Weldon Johnson. James attended Atlanta University

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Revelations
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, who was later also known as Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, was born in
1840 in Russia. He was the first Russian who got an international fame due to his music in the
classical repertoire. Regarding our essay, we have chosen the song which is originally composed
by Tchaikovsky and then later in 1895, Ivanov along with Petipa revised the Swan Lake.
The choreography of Swan lake The Kirov Ballet basically focuses on is the Revelations and
Bacchanale. Revelation is the dance that I like the most, however, Baccanale is my least favorite
dance. To me, the dance symbolizes the parson s socialization in western civilization concerning
roles of gender. In the past era, there was a gesture that was separated from full embodiment and
emotion, but with the passage of time, those gestures become more recognizable and meaningful.
People move with the rhythm of the music, which is known as Dance. It is also known as art
performance that contains organized and selected movements of the human body. There are
several kinds of dance such as informal, professional performance, and ritual performance. The
dance involves several moves of the body with the music in the specific space to express
emotions, feelings of joy or an idea to get delighted by the body movements and also with the
purpose to release energy.
Revelations
Revelations is my most favorite dance and it was first performed by the Alvin Ailey in American
Dance Theatre and is known as three section dance. The reason why it fascinates me a lot is that
each section of this dance focus and display distinct factors that the people (Africans Americans)
affected since the era of slavery and it is still present to fight for their rights. The theme of this
dance is a unity that is showcased in every piece that was controversial in America because of
racial discrimination. Pilgrim of Sorrow is the first section of this dance that is opened with a
group of dancers. The dancers are in harmony using their arms in alegato tempo to create angular
shapes. The dancers constantly moved and separated separately, but in the other step they would
come back as one unit and become coordinated where they extended their long arms upwards. Their
hands in the air seem

Summary Of Susan Cain s Quiet
Susan Cain s Quiet argues for the power of introverts. In her book, introverts are the main subject

she once puked before a presentation, she also tells the story of other introverts, how they
maintained being introverts in a world filled with extroverts that can do what for introverts seems
impossible without having to think twice about it. Introverts are often mistaken as shy or quiet,
mostly because they keep themselves, they see thing in a different light. Introverts and others often

scared, and that may not be the message she s trying to get through, but even with the introverts
she describe in the book, they are often hiding, or mimicking the people/environment surrounding
them and don t show who they are until presented with a challenge. I however disagree with this
point, many of the most successful people in our world are introverts ranging from Abraham

Example Of Communicative Language Teaching
Have you chosen one of the best ways to teach your students today? Which one did you prepare? It
will be better to choose Communicative Language Teaching as one of the approaches in teaching
English. Communicative Language Teaching or CLT derived from communicative competence
(Hymes, 1971). It is a teaching approach which has goals, teachers and learners roles, process of
learninglanguage, and also can facilitate learning activities (Richards, 2006). CLT underlines
interaction between students. In the Communicative Language Teachingclassroom, the teacher has
a role as a facilitator who will only facilitate the learning process, not become a model. Moreover,
the students are going to be more active in learning the language (Richards, 2006). Thus, CLT is a...

When they talk and the teacher find some mistakes in their pronunciation, it will be fixed by the
teacher. Like, when the students will do an activity in the class then the teacher apply a dialogue or

pronunciation is unclear, the teacher can fix it directly. Briefly, by increasing speaking ability,
students vocabulary, non verbal expertise and fluency in pronunciation will be better. To conclude,
Communicative Language Teaching is a teaching method that highlights interaction of students. It
is a good way to be applied for students because it can build cooperation among students by
working together in group or pair which can make them share their ideas to each other and show
their critical thinking. CLT also can facilitate activities in class which are interesting and fun such
as the role play activities, interviews, and games which need teacher s creativity in the process of
learning. Indeed, it can help the students to develop their speaking aptitude, so their fluency in
pronunciation, vocabulary, and non verbal skill are going to be

The Old Testament Of God
Introduction The Old Testament is set from the creation of the universe (roughly 4000 BC,) to the
period of the Persian Empire and Cyrus who allowed the Jews to return from captivity and rebuild
their temple, ending around 400 BC. It tells the story of God s chosen people, the Hebrews, who
were later known as Israelitesor Jews. The Old Testamentpresents their testimony and interaction
with Godduring this time.
Body
In the beginning of time, God created the heavens and the earth and everything that filled them.
Following the creation was the fall of man with Adam and Eve bringing sin and death upon the
earth and themselves. God made a covering for them indicating that it was only through the blood
of a substitute that they could approach God.
Man continued to sin and God brought severe judgement upon the earth through the flood in which
the whole earth was wiped out except for Noah and his family and through the tower of Babel in
which He divided the people into different nations by changing their languages and causing
confusion amongst them.
God was planning to provide redemption for humankind and chose one family to work through

Biometric Authentication And A Safe Deposit Business
This report is to discuss the possible introduction of Biometric Authentication to the Dynamic

Because vein patterns are uniquely located beneath the user s skin and that must have blood
flowing readily through them to be scanned, they are almost impossible to copy or change. This
means that the a finger vein scan would be a very useful and unique way to identify users on our
system and at the same time a very portable method with the size of some of the scanners today.
The customer would approach our security team with their deposit box key. The customer would
place their finger in our finger vein scanner. The finger vein scanner uses LED lights to scan the
veins inside the customer s finger beneath the skin. The system will compare the scan to pre

Essay on Equality and Justice for All in Canada
Today, Canada is known around the world as a cultural mosaic. As a nation it welcomes people of
both sexes with all different beliefs, cultures, and religions. Creating a mature nation would require
promoting equality of opportunity to all and giving help to those who were disadvantaged.
However, Canada has not always been a welcoming and mature nation. In the past, women were
not allowed to vote alongside men or run for political positions, due to the fact that they were not
considered persons . As well, Aboriginal children were stipped from their homes, families, and
identities so that they could assimilate all First Nationspeople. During the last century, women have

Women being able to vote was a huge step forward for Canadian women, but even though they

restricted women from holding public office. (History Canadian resources book) The act declared
that women are persons in matters of pain and penalties, but are not persons in matters of rights

Andragogy is defined as the art and science of helping adults learn (Bethel University, 2013).
There are similarities of both Pedagogy and Andragogy. Both are ways of teaching and educating
people. A difference between the two is Pedagogyis a teacher focused educationsystem where the
teacher tells the student what, how and when materials will be learned, whereas Andragogy is a
learner based system where the student has more control over when and how materials are
learned(Bethel University, 2013). Pedagogy is geared more toward the teaching of children, and

strategy. A good strategy to use is answering the the general research topic question with the
paper you write(Bethel University, 2013). In order to answer your general topic question you
can use keywords and concepts to do your research and gather information for the paper. It is
always best to use scholarly articles while researching a topic. Scholarly articles are written by
experts and are fact based writings.(Bethel University, 2013) By using scholarly articles a student

Donald Trump Informative Essay
Most people in this country know that Donald Trump has a problem with telling the truth. He is
not honest nor is he trustworthy and he definitely is not shy about making things up, even when
they can easily be proven false. In fact, that is what he has done just last week. According to
Trump, he received two awesome phone calls in the last week. The first one came from the Boy
Scouts, telling him what a great job he did at that speech, and how much everybody loved it, that
it was just one of the greatest things they have ever seen in their life. The second phone call he
claims he got was from the President of Mexico, congratulating him on what a wonderful job he is
doing on border security here in the United States. They just love it down there. Donald Trumps just
the greatest guy that ever lived and everything is just great... Yeah right.
Get this, neither of those phone calls actually ever happened. Donald Trump claimed that he got

him and tell him what a wonderful person he is. Then both groups had to come out and basically

The Importance Of Apple Unlocking The Cellphones In Tim...
Cellphones have become increasingly ubiquitous in society becoming an essential part of everyday
life; holding all of our information about our personal lives, from bank information to private text
messages. With our nation s security being weakened by terrorists utilizing cell phone encryption,
it could be believed that companies such as Apple should comply with the FBI and government
officials to grant access to terrorist s cell phones. Most recently in San Bernardino an iPhone5c
supposedly holding crucial information was locked to the FBI and they requested Apples help to
unlock the iPhone. It would be expected that Apple is to comply and help the FBI aiding the
prosecution of terrorists to help better society, however this is not the case, helping unlock terrorist
s cellphones would have multiple irrevocable consequences that would undoubtedly change the
landscape of the physical and digital world for the worse.
It may seem that Apple should aid the government in unlocking the terrorist s cellphones during
the San Bernardino case, however they should not, as unlocking the one phone in this case will
cause every other iPhone to be unlocked in the world. In the context of the San Bernardino case
creating an encryption key to unlock one phone that can never be used again is impossible and is
even acknowledged by Apple in Tim Cook s A Message to Our Consumers: The government
suggests this tool could only be used once, on one phone, Cook said. But that s simply not

The Nature And Activity Of God
Question 1: What did I learn about the nature and activity of God? I see God working through
the history of mankind and God working throughout the history of Israel as well. I believe one
can see that God is at work in the church as well. He is working to fulfill God s plans that has
been in place before the foundation of the world. God s plan as the Apostle Paul says is to
redeem his people in Ephesians 1:6 7. The Apostle Paul said, to the praise of his glorious grace,
with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, (Ephesians 1:6†‬7 ESV). It
is Genesis chapter 3 that we see the broken state of mankind, but God offers grace to mankind
when He tells Eve her child (Jesus) would crush the serpent (Satan).‬ It is through the OT text
that we see the interaction with God. Von Rad believed that through this retailing and
applications of the OT stories we see God himself revealed to Israel through the words and the
Deeds of the texts which, swears to what God has said and done (Routledge p. 59). We can look
back at history and see God s action and see a great future that lies ahead for His children. It is
through the stories of the OT that we see what God has done and is continually doing today. We
often lose sight of the importance of what God has done and is doing in us. We focus too much in
our own circumstance. The DTIB states that our view of history is

The Great Gatsby By William Shakespeare
Arranged marriages have been instituted for centuries in order to link families together for
wealth, dominion, and peace. In the late 1500 s, William Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet
became famous for its writing style and storyline. A true romance story consisting of defying the
family s wishes of an arranged marriage to be accompanied by the true love of their life. In
Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet love was a dynamic force that eventually brought about the death
of both Romeo and Juliet. Nearly 300 years later F. Scott Fitzgeraldexplores the similar dominance
of love in his novel The Great Gatsby. Comparable to Romeo and Juliet many characters in The
Great Gatsby exploit their marriage in order to be with another lover. In The Great Gatsby the
desire for love of an outside companion to one s marriage inevitably generates misery in the lives
of those who partake. Throughout The Great Gatsby, Myrtle Wilson, Daisy Buchanan, and Jay
Gatsbyand all experience agony from committing or contributing to affairs. These characters have
such a desire for love that it proposes they would die for it.
Confined by heartache and jealousy, Myrtle Wilson guiltily experiences anguish from her
passionate love for Tom Buchanan. It is evident that her marriage with George Wilson is
undesirable from her conversation with Mrs. Mckee, I married him because I thought he was a

Horseshoe Crabs Evolution
The argument the author puts forth is that horseshoe crabs have evolved over the eras. That they
re not living fossils . Horseshoe crabs have rounded cephalic shields, that were like the extinct
trilobites, and an arrangement of legs and gills , no wonder people think they are living fossils.
This is the beginning to how these historic animals have evolved. Three years ago, the author took
a trip to Delaware. As his family was walking on the beach they came across some horseshoe crabs
mating. He wondered how they have changed. The type of horseshoe crabhe saw along the beach
was called limulus polyphemus . Limulus Polyphemus is not found in the fossilrecords. The fossil

the nowadays Limulus. The environment in the ancient sea, which contained crustaceans,
molluscs, and echinoderms, helped the hypothesis that 112 million years ago the area was
covered in shallow lagoons. Numerous Cretaceous dinosaur tracks have been found near Glen
Rose, Texas. This is where horseshoe crabs were found in Paluxy River. There was also a
surprising discovery. The fossil of the horseshoe crab is preserved as an exterior and interior
mold. The fossil preserved traces of activity by other organisms. The interior mold shows traces
left by small invertebrates, that fed on the horseshoe crab after it died. These worms created the
mold of the fossil, and the detail was so detailed that the artificial caset was almost an exact
replica. This was very surprising and awesome because this shows how invertebrates can preserve
other animals anatomies. The reason for this being: soon after the horseshoe crab died, the worms
began to settle upon the horseshoe crab. The worms began building homes, and the tubes took form
of the dead horseshoe crab. Because of the rate the worms created their homes, the author predicts

The Importance Of Technology Literacy In Students Learning
Technology literacy plays a significant role in students learning. It is therefore crucial for educators
to incorporate learning lessons and techniques that will help students build and strengthen their
technology skills (McLaughlin, 2015). The literacy web tool that I am interested in exploring more
extensively is Diigo. Diigo is an annotation tool that encourages students to collect resources, gather
web pages, and add sticky notes and comments on their web pageprovided from the site (Diigo,
2017). Essential this site serves as a personal library where students can make notes and post
interesting and helpful sources all in one place (Diigo, 2017). Students will also have the
opportunity to share their web pages with classmates. What makes this site exciting is that students
can upload a PDF file right onto their web page and make notes directly on the document.
Therefore, students can opt to read science articles, take notes, highlight important information and
complete assignments right on their computer.
In today s education, students are expected to read and understand complex texts, read higher level
informational texts, expand their academic vocabulary and communicate their reading and learning
abilities through writing, to meet the Common Core Standards (Buehl, 2014). By using this
annotation web tools, students can build and develop essential literacy skills that will help them

Romeo And Juliet Comparison Essay
William Shakespeare s famous Romeo and Juliet was reinvented in 1996 as Romeo + Juliet and
was directed by Baz Luhrmann. Luhrmann s interpretation has turned Shakespeare s traditional tale
of a tragic love story into a modern and urbanised 20th century version. Luhrmann s adaptation
keeps the classic story of Romeo and Juliet true. This is seen by still having the constant feud
between the Montague and Capulet family and the countless tragedies, yet Luhrmann adds a 20th
century twist by using guns instead of swords and replacing horses with cars. The main characters
remain as Romeo and Juliet, although there is a greater focus on them than their parents. The
events take place in Verona, however, it is at Verona Beach in Florida, not Italy. All of Luhrmann s

How To Compare And Contrast A School Curriculum
A free and appropriate education is the right of all children in this country. The purpose of
education is to provide students with the skills that they need to become productive members in
society. Classrooms today are more diverse than ever, they are multi cultural, multi lingual, and
multi ethnic. In addition, students come into schools with different ability levels and make
progress through the curriculum differently. School personnel must set goals standards and
expectations for the performance of its students and provide multiple levels of support to be
successful in attaining the common core standards as established by state and federal regulations.
The task of school personnel and administrators is to create a curriculum with pre determined
competencies and standards in order to help students succeed. This curriculum most also be
successful in incorporating the common core standards as required by the state and federal
regulations. Although curricula may vary from district to district, they should be appropriate for
most students at a given age or grade level (Salvia, Ysseldyke, Bolt 216). With that being said, in
this paper I will be comparing the curriculums of two different school districts to see what
differences or similarities in format exist. The first curriculum that I will explore is the Union

Advertising Strategy Of Coca Cola
Coca Cola is one of the biggest companies worldwide, operating in the soft drinks industry. It was
founded in 1886 by a pharmacist from Atlanta, called John S. Pemberton. Two years later, John
sold portions of the business to various parties, and the biggest portion of shares went to the
famous businessmen from Atlanta, Asa G. Candler. Under Candler s leadership, Coca Cola
expanded its distribution on a huge scale beyond Atlanta. For the first time in 1894, Joseph
Biedenharn introduced the bottling machinery and was the first to make this beverage portable.
Since then, the bottling of Coca Cola has changed numerous times and was also has been
imitated by different competitors. In 1977, the bottling of Coca Cola was finally trademarked
and since then, it has been an inspiration for the artists across the globe. Evolution of the Coca
Cola bottle has brought so many different memorable slogans and ideas and many campaigns
were launched with a series of ads including such slogans. The basic proposition of Coca Cola is
to bring refreshment, joy, value and fun to the stakeholders in order to nurture and protect the

are both positive and negative effects of social networking. Facebook is the most used and
populated website on the web. Facebook was launched seven years ago and has already attracted

However, there are also some negative aspects of social networking. Some people tend to get cyber
bullied on the internet. A child or teen usually gets tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated,
embarrassed, or targeted by another child or teen using the internet or even on mobile phones.
Some people commit suicide because of the mean things that people say to them. For this to not
happen the best thing to do is delete the account and stay offline for a while until the stalkers
have gotten tired of the whole thing. However, you should report it to the police before doing
this. It can also lead into depression. Some people tend to make fun of others such as calling them
ugly or fat. This may tend to make that person emotional and depressed and may lower their self
esteem. Although their self esteem is already low this can lead them to committing suicide. Teens
like their own privacy no matter what it is they re doing. Sometimes they just need to be left alone.
That s another thing about cyber bullying. Some strangers invade on others privacy. Some
strangers may want to help teens with the problems they are facing, but if you can t help them at

Research Paper On Kierkegaard
tatement of thesis: Kierkegaard emphasizes that Christian love is the only real love. Kierkegaard
also says that erotic love and friendship are just temporal love that one experiences.
Method: Kierkegaard s emphasis on the approach that God is love to an individual. The arguments
that Kierkegaard s builds are to understand the function and nature of love in the human existence.
Frame of Work: There is not doubt that Kierkegaard attempts to call attention to the statement that
by loving some people more than others, or by loving God instead of others, or even by loving
others instead of God, or by loving others by external meaning only, or with internal this causes to
indulge in self love. This helps to justify to us how know true love. ... Show more content on

Christian love mainly aims a change of relation in the heart in a more internal level before God in a
more conscience manner. Throughout this section it points out that Christianity does not go out its
way to change external but instead change internal where the conscience comes to play.
Kierkegaard makes it clear that love is matter of conscience in which Christianity focuses on
more on the internal side more when it comes down to making any changes. Through your
conscience one can make the decision to love the person they want in the true love way, which
is before God. God and Christianity is a big part of someone because love is developed or even
expressed in that person conscience where they have learned how to truly love. Kierkegaard
emphasizes on the conscience in order to be able to understand the concept of love in a deeper
level. Through this God holds the individuals responsible for their own conscience. There is still
no doubt that other will oppose of the command that Love is a matter of Conscience , but it will
still be tested and tried until it gets accepted or once again opposed. Overall, this section has
explained that since love actually is the matter of the conscience, other type of love must remain
lower than the love a Christian learned to have. Kierkegaard stated, Love is a matter of
conscience and must therefore be from a pure heart and sincere faith (147). With this to end it
simply explains that a pure heart which is consider to be good and is able to love others after
they have loved God then one with a strong faith in Christianity is able to understand that love is
part of the conscience. This allows the person to grasp to what love is really is and how to love in a
way that is non selfish but to be more

The Lion And The Mouse Analysis
A famous person once said Judging a person doesn t define who they are. It defines who YOU
are. Don t judge someone by how they look comes out in both of the stories The Lion and the
Mouse by Rob John and Wonder by R.J Palacio. Both of the stories have characters that are
different from others. Both of the characters get judged, but are very helpful in the end. Never
judge someone by their looks is very important in The Lionand the Mouse. In the beginning, the
lion new he was big and strong and the mouse was little and weak. So, he thought he would eat
the mouse just because of that, he never even new the mouse. The lion overlooked the mouse and
didn t get to know him. In the middle, the lion said You? How could a tiny mouse help a huge lion
like me..? The lion judged the mouse and thought that because the mouse was small he couldn t do
anything. No matter what your size you can always be helpful in some way. Towards the end, even
the though the lion thought the little mouse was worthless, he actually saved his life when he
chewed through a hunter s net that the lion was trapped in. The mouse didn t let there differences
get in the way of being nice. People that are different can surprise you and do something amazing
with their differences that you... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The lion and the mouse is a fable so it teaches us in a much shorter way. A little mouse tells a lion
that someday it will help him and the lion doesn t believe a tiny mouse can help a big lion like
him. Then, the lion gets caught in a hunter s net and the little mouse comes to save him by
chewing through the ropes. However, Wonder is a chapter book so it teaches us not to judge in
a longer way. A boy named August has a face that looks very different. There are lots of
challenges and lots of people judge him because he is really different. Not judging people will
make a huge difference in the world. Will you be the one that makes a

The Representation Of Villains In Disney s Film, Big Hero
Just looking at it, Disney s film Big Hero 6 is another representation of superheroes vs. mad
scientist villains. A 14 year old prodigy named Hiro teams up with a group of friends from his
nerd school to take down a villain. This movie has an amazing script and an even better voice
cast. It sounds and looks fantastic, Disney s new technologies helped the movie achieve its
creative quality. But even though this movie is different. We all have heard this same story
before. This film takes the typical story line of a superheroes tale and mixes in creative themes
that go against the typical assumptions of the genre. This film shows us how it is a better choice
to choose non violence over violence, how even the ones who have hurt us so bad... Show more

Hiro finds a way to override Baymax programming which then turns Baymax to a crime fighting
killing machine. In one of the most emotional scenes of the film, Baymax becomes the
instrument of revenge that Hiro wanted him to be. Baymax was meant to heal and mend
people. He then later learned to fight, but that is not who Tadashi created him to be. This movie
argues that violence is not something natural but rather a learned behavior, we must be
reprogrammed to accept it. The rest of the film reinforces the idea of the characters to find ways
to stop the villain without using violence. The best of the villains are the ones who believe that
what they are doing is a just cause. In Big Hero 6 , the masked man s motive for having stolen
Hiro s microbots is understandable: he needs them to save a life. Nevertheless revenge is not
justice, despite the villains deeper motives he is still a bad man. But the villain s backstory and
motives pull at our heartstrings and it is indeed hard not to have empathy for him. By creating a
villain whose intentions were nothing more than misguided grief, the film teaches the audience a
valuable lesson about

Bloodstain Pattern Analysis Essay
Abstract
Physical evidence left behind at a crime scene plays a crucial role in reconstructing the events that
took place involving the crime. Bloodstain pattern analysis (BPA) is a discipline which utilizes the
sciences of biology, physics, and mathematics. Bloodstain interpretation may be accomplished by
direct scene evaluation and/or careful study of scene photographs in conjunction with detailed
examination of clothing, weapons, and other objects regarded as physical evidence. The location,
spreading, and appearance of bloodstains and spatters can be useful for interpreting and
reconstructing the events that produced the bleeding. An investigator or bloodstain pattern analyst
can decipher from individual bloodstains the direction and angle ... Show more content on

Sam Sheppard for the murder of his wife Marilyn. In the 1954 trial, State of Ohio v. Samuel
Sheppard, Dr. Sam Sheppard, a physician, was convicted for bludgeoning his wife to death while
she was in bed. Sheppard stated he was innocent and claimed he was sleeping on a couch down
stairs when he heard Marilyn scream his name from upstairs. His statement said he rushed up to the
bedroom but was knocked unconscious by an unknown person. The local coroner testified saying
that the pool of blood on her pillow held the impression of a surgical tool. He also stated that
blood found on Sheppard s watch was from blood spatter as he was hitting his wife (Desario
Mason 2003). Sheppard was imprisoned for ten years until criminalist Dr. Paul Kirk, after
conducting a thorough investigation of the Sheppard home, published a report concluding that
the murderer was left handed and probably used a flashlight as a murder weapon. Dr. Sam
Sheppard was right handed. He also reported finding blood in the murder room that came from
neither Sam nor Marilyn. Dr. Kirk was also able to conclude that the blood from Sheppard s
watch was blood transfer from trying to find his wife s pulse (Desario Mason 2003). Sam Sheppard
was found not guilty after the

Invictus And The Rose That Grew From Concrete By Tupac
Obstacles. Everyone has been forced to overcome them at some point in their life. These
obstacles have shaped everyone and helped them become the person they are today. Challenges
are a part of life and everyone will face them at some point in their life, but it is how people handle
it that determines their future. This idea can be seen in many pieces of text including the following
poems. Invictus by William Ernest Henleyand The Rose That Grew From Concrete by Tupac both
convey the idea that obstacles are important in everyone s life and help shape everyone as a person
on the way to their dream.
Through Invictus William Ernest Henley shows that if people did not run into obstacles in their
life, no one would know who they truly are. The use of imagery shows this theme in that it
allows the readers to feel and see the pain that the writer is going through. For example, William
Henley says, I have not winced nor cried aloud./ my head is bloody, but unbowed (6 8). This
device is being used to demonstrate the difficult journey that the author was given to go on, in
order reach his dream and be in control of their life. It shows the theme of this poem because it
speaks about the low points in a person s life and about how by not giving in they become
stronger. This device also shows that though they have been beaten down multiple times they refuse
to be broken. Another device that Henley uses is diction. He uses this device to stress the
importance of different words

Analysis Of Nahco3 In Alka Seltzer Tablets Lab Report
What Is the Percent by Mass of NaHCO3 in Alka Seltzer Tablets?
When it comes to understanding how starting material and product effect each other, it has been
inevitably thought that the amount of starting material has always included a limiting and excess
reactant that conclusively determines the product amount. The Lab Manual stated in applicable
cases, such as buying amounts of starting material to form a certain product, could change a
reaction, or have economic effects of wasting unnecessary amounts of material, therefore,
unnecessary amounts of money.1 For instance, determining the amount of active ingredients in the
fizz reaction of an Alka Seltzer tablet is a great example to understand how much reactant is needed
to cause the relief (determined by the product) according to the Lab Manual.1 According to
researcher Dr. Catherine Chen, sodium bicarbonate is used for the acid base netrualization.2 The Lab
Manual presented the following reaction in which the active ingredient in Alka Seltzer tablets
sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) reacted with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After the amount of carbon dioxide lost was found, stoichiometry lets the loss of carbon dioxide to
help find the amount of sodium bicarbonate reacted. Moreover, the mass of sodium bicarbonate
and the mass of the original tablet help calculate the percent by mass of sodium bicarbonate. An
observation made is that the changing amounts in each trial according to Table 1.1 show that, with
changing amounts of starting material, the mass of carbon dioxide and the mass of sodium
bicarbonate are inevitably affected. However, looking closely at Figure 1.1, the amounts of vinegar
added increased in the experiment consequently making it the excess reactant to the sodium
bicarbonate causing the graph in Figure 1.1 to level out. The tables should then show a steady
increase in the percent by mass in the tablet and the amount of carbon dioxide

Bessie And Alzheimer s Dilemmas
According to Green (2007) biopsychosocial and spiritual assessment alone will not provide a
complete picture of competence forcing the practitioner to consider appraisal as a part of the
assessment. Fanny s lower levels of functioning begins with appraisal as she perceived the
demand of surrendering her driving privileges as a threat to her independence. In other words,
she examined the severity of the situation deeming it as serious making her feel vulnerable as she
mentioned if she could no longer drive, she will feel inadequate. Comparatively, Bessie was able
to go with the flow although she understood there is no cure available for her condition, she
remained positive. Next we must look at Fanny s lower level of biological functioning from a
perspective of her mental health status, unlike Bessie, she has Alzheimer s disease with increased

driving is now made poor. After being asked to identify and explain the purpose of the traffic
sign presented, Fanny failed miserably as she demonstrated signs of agnosia. Ironically, she
rated her driving above average which was delusional. Her social functioning would be at a
lower level not having the ability to interact with her community and others without planning and
organizing. Bessie was able to freely engage as her transportation was not compromised having
complete control to go and come as she pleased. Her spiritual well being and routine to connect
with her faith attending church service would now consist of having someone to come and pick
her up, again removing her ability to go wherever, and whenever she please. Fanny expressed this
new way of living as terrible and disappointing, her social factor is greatly

Sex Trafficking In Texas
One of the growing issues in our society is sex trafficking. Sex Trafficking is a hidden crime
because victims rarely come forward to seek help due to language barriers, fear of the
traffickers, and they do not know where or who to turn too. These young girls are lured into
prostitution by force, fraud, or promises of a better life. Sex Trafficking is a serious crime that
often goes overlooked because people are uncomfortable with the issue, and are not sure how to
fight it. This issue can be found even at our own back door. The same interstate many Lamar
Orange students use is the same one sex traffickers use to transport their victims. One in every five
victims of human traffickingin the U.S. travels through Texas along Interstate ten. (Texas... Show

Sex traffickers use violence, threats, lies, debt bondage, and other forms of coercion to compel
adults and children to engage in commercial sex acts against their will. (Polaris Project) In the
area of organized crime, sex trafficking is one of the fastest growing businesses. The Texas
Department of Public Safety issued statistics that approximately 100,000 children are estimated
to be in the sex trade in the united states each year. Texas had the second highest incoming
trafficking tips in 2013. These incoming tips totaled 2,236 calls, emails, and tip forms. As of
June 2015 there has been 833 calls and 214 cases reported. These numbers are expected to
double before the end of the year. Houston is known to be one of the largest cities for sex
trafficking. This makes interstate 10, which runs through Houston, one of the main routes for sex
traffickers. Due to interstate 10 passing straight through the golden triangle, Beaumont, Port
Arthur, and Orange have seen a rise in sex trafficking victims. (8 12) It is important to note that
the actual number of sex trafficked individuals is higher than what has been reported due to the
secret nature of the crime. Many victims never come forward because of fear, age, and a lack of
realization that they are being used as sex

Compare And Contrast Ancient Egypt Vs America
Ancient civilizations and empires have captured the eye and attention of historians for hundreds of
years. From the lost civilization of Alexandria to the ever present myth of Atlantis (fact or fiction?),
history that has grown has caught the eye of many. Particularly, Ancient Egypt seems as rich in
history and secrets as Greece or Rome. Egyptand modern day America don t hold as many
similarities as one might think, but they seem entangled together regardless of differences. Ancient
Egyptand modern day America hold many similarities. In terms of roots in society, both Egypt
and America started out as simple agrarian societies. America was rooted in agricultural success in
its early life before it advanced towards a more industrialized one in the 1760s to the 1820 40s.
Both Egypt and America also, alongside the agrarian heritage, were multiracial and multicultural in
essence. Due to Egypt being situated in Africa, it supplied America with slaves as much as the rest
of the continent did. Egypt s African roots also added to the heritage and ultimate inhabitants of the
nation, but the rulers and royalty always held... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

He thinks the criterion for judging whether a man should be held accountable for one of his actions was whether he had acted voluntarily. As the main idea of book three moral virtue, Aristotle starts his discussion from point out the issue of moral responsibility, which can be considered as a basis of moral virtue, because if a man cannot be responsible for the action he did, then theoretically the discussion is superfluous. For example, the person was carried by the wind; then his behavior does not have any moral significance. • 4. Essay on Taoism and Nature In Chinese Medicine One of the oldest and most complete medical systems ever developed is traditional Chinese medicine. The Taoist ideas and the importance of nature have been intertwined with Chinese Medicine from the ancient beginnings of Chinese culture. Tao or way, is the major idea of Taoism: Man models himself on earth, earth on heaven, heaven on the way, and the way on that which is naturally so . Taoism teaches that human beings should be in harmony with nature, that is, with Tao (Y). Taoism celebrates the forces of nature and recognizes the interplay of yin and yangin all things. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This emphasis on perception of pattern is based on Taoist thought, which altogether lacks the idea of a creator and the concern of which is insight into the web of phenomena, not a comprehension of the weaver (Freeman, 311). The Taoist doctrine of balance and harmony or Yin Yang is the primary guideline for Chinese medicine. All existence and activity, including health and disease, can be explained by the interactions of yin and yang (Lu, 7). According to Chinese medicine illnesses are caused by imbalances between the body s nutritive substances, the yin, and the functionaly activity of the body, the yang. This principle is mirrored in nature except the imbalances between yin and yang manifest as natural disasters instead of disease. These imbalances disrupted the flow of chi along the body s energy pathways, known as meridians. Chi is believed to be the vital energy or life force that drives every cell in the body. Physical, emotional, and mental harmony rely on the unobstructed flow of chi. The Role of the five elements of nature (wood, water, metal, earth, and fire) is also recognized by Chinese medication. The five elements are a subdivision of yin and yang. Each element denotes a category of related functions and qualities and allows additional tools for diagnosis. The elements allow distinctions concerning the direction of change of the yin and yang. The eight principles must also be comprehended and addressed if the patient is to be made healthy and ... My portfolio is a collection of literary imperfections, but, more importantly, it is a good example of one writer s journey on refining himself and how he analyzes literature. The writings attached show how I got progressively more particular with my writing. Theses documents are good evidence of how my writing grew to become more in depth and challenging. I tend to take a literary work that I have either read or watched. I focus my writing on the process of scrutinizing the main character. More specifically, I center on their importance to the author and his ability to effectively represent his message. The first step in a dissection is to examine the species. This is where one gets familiar with what they are working on. In terms of how I write, this is where I tend to take the time to outline and focus specific points in the text that may be valuable to my paper. Formally called a pre write , this is when my paper is in its infantile stage of development. I do not focus on grammar or sentence structure. I am simply gathering ideas from my mind on to paper. Often times, the majority of what I write in this stage will get cut, but it is important that I pull out many different quotes or ideas that may begin to relate in some way. Even though this is a very informal stage of my paper, it is sometimes one of the most time consuming. I will write until I cannot think of anything ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Decline of Social Skills Amongst Counterintelligence Agents When the un indoctrinated person pictures a Counterintelligence Agent, many times images of James Bond or The Americans television show may enter their head. A better example of a proper Counterintelligence Agent might be Fred Rogers (also known as Mister Rogers). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A lack of interpersonal skills can literally determine whether someone will live or die. We need to have the ability to start conversations with strangers, put them at ease, and convince them to report or collect information they would not normally feel comfortable disclosing. This skill, in and of itself is not a natural act or easily accomplished. It takes practice, but the difficulties are exponentially amplified (if not impossible) when the agent is not comfortable with social interactions. Another common task of a Counterintelligence Agent is elicitation, or the art of using crafted conversation to collect information without the other participant(s) being alerted to any compromise. Elicitation is the foundation of much of the craft of counterintelligence and the foundation of elicitation is social competency. The bottom line is that being a successful Counterintelligence Agent is synonymous with being able to interact casually and skillfully with other people. Understanding why the new generation of agents appears to be socially inept we have to look at the surrounding circumstances. We can begin by looking at how the new generation of Counterintelligence Agent s upbringing, previous to joining the counterintelligence field, has affected their social skills. Understanding this helps us to consider the outside factors during nurturing that led to the social ineptness. Some of these social skill failings are from a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There are several kinds of dance such as informal, professional performance, and ritual performance. The dance involves several moves of the body with the music in the specific space to express emotions, feelings of joy or an idea to get delighted by the body movements and also with the purpose to release energy. Cellphones have become increasingly ubiquitous in society becoming an essential part of everyday life; holding all of our information about our personal lives, from bank information to private text messages. With our nation s security being weakened by terrorists utilizing cell phone encryption, it could be believed that companies such as Apple should comply with the FBI and government officials to grant access to terrorist s cell phones. It would be expected that Apple is to comply and help the FBI aiding the prosecution of terrorists to help better society, however this is not the case, helping unlock terrorist s cellphones would have multiple irrevocable consequences that would undoubtedly change the landscape of the physical and digital world for the worse. It may seem that Apple should aid the government in unlocking the terrorist s cellphones during the San Bernardino case, however they should not, as unlocking the one phone in this case will cause every other iPhone to be unlocked in the world. I see God working through the history of mankind and God working throughout the history of Israel as well. I believe one can see that God is at work in the church as well. He is working to fulfill God s plans that has been in place before the foundation of the world. God s plan as the Apostle Paul says is to redeem his people in Ephesians 1:6 7. The Apostle Paul said, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, (Ephesians 1:6†‬7 ESV). It is Genesis chapter 3 that we see the broken state of mankind, but God offers grace to mankind when He tells Eve her child (Jesus) would crush the serpent (Satan).‬ It is through the OT text that we see the interaction with God. Von Rad believed that through this retailing and applications of the OT stories we see God himself revealed to Israel through the words and the Deeds of the texts which, swears to what God has said and done (Routledge p. 59). We can look back at history and see God s action and see a great future that lies ahead for His children. • 47. The Representation Of Villains In Disney s Film, Big Hero Just looking at it, Disney s film Big Hero 6 is another representation of superheroes vs. mad scientist villains. A 14 year old prodigy named Hiro teams up with a group of friends from his nerd school to take down a villain. This movie has an amazing script and an even better voice cast. It sounds and looks fantastic, Disney s new technologies helped the movie achieve its creative quality. But even though this movie is different. We all have heard this same story before. This film takes the typical story line of a superheroes tale and mixes in creative themes that go against the typical assumptions of the genre. Hiro finds a way to override Baymax programming which then turns Baymax to a crime fighting killing machine. In one of the most emotional scenes of the film, Baymax becomes the instrument of revenge that Hiro wanted him to be. Baymax was meant to heal and mend people. He then later learned to fight, but that is not who Tadashi created him to be. This movie argues that violence is not something natural but rather a learned behavior, we must be reprogrammed to accept it. The rest of the film reinforces the idea of the characters to find ways to stop the villain without using violence. The best of the villains are the ones who believe that what they are doing is a just cause. In Big Hero 6 , the masked man s motive for having stolen Hiro s microbots is understandable: he needs them to save a life. Nevertheless revenge is not justice, despite the villains deeper motives he is still a bad man. But the villain s backstory and motives pull at our heartstrings and it is indeed hard not to have empathy for him. By creating a villain whose intentions were nothing more than misguided grief, the film teaches the audience a valuable lesson about ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Sam Sheppard for the murder of his wife Marilyn. In the 1954 trial, State of Ohio v. Samuel Sheppard, Dr. Sam Sheppard, a physician, was convicted for bludgeoning his wife to death while she was in bed. Sheppard stated he was innocent and claimed he was sleeping on a couch down stairs when he heard Marilyn scream his name from upstairs. His statement said he rushed up to the bedroom but was knocked unconscious by an unknown person. The local coroner testified saying that the pool of blood on her pillow held the impression of a surgical tool. He also stated that blood found on Sheppard s watch was from blood spatter as he was hitting his wife (Desario Mason 2003). Sheppard was imprisoned for ten years until criminalist Dr. Paul Kirk, after conducting a thorough investigation of the Sheppard home, published a report concluding that the murderer was left handed and probably used a flashlight as a murder weapon. These obstacles have shaped everyone and helped them become the person they are today. Challenges are a part of life and everyone will face them at some point in their life, but it is how people handle it that determines their future. This idea can be seen in many pieces of text including the following poems. Invictus by William Ernest Henleyand The Rose That Grew From Concrete by Tupac both convey the idea that obstacles are important in everyone s life and help shape everyone as a person on the way to their dream. Through Invictus William Ernest Henley shows that if people did not run into obstacles in their life, no one would know who they truly are. The use of imagery shows this theme in that it allows the readers to feel and see the pain that the writer is going through. For example, William Henley says, I have not winced nor cried aloud./ my head is bloody, but unbowed (6 8). This device is being used to demonstrate the difficult journey that the author was given to go on, in order reach his dream and be in control of their life. It shows the theme of this poem because it speaks about the low points in a person s life and about how by not giving in they become stronger. This device also shows that though they have been beaten down multiple times they refuse to be broken. Another device that Henley uses is diction. He uses this device to stress the importance of different words ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

When it comes to understanding how starting material and product effect each other, it has been inevitably thought that the amount of starting material has always included a limiting and excess reactant that conclusively determines the product amount. The Lab Manual stated in applicable cases, such as buying amounts of starting material to form a certain product, could change a reaction, or have economic effects of wasting unnecessary amounts of material, therefore, unnecessary amounts of money.1 For instance, determining the amount of active ingredients in the fizz reaction of an Alka Seltzer tablet is a great example to understand how much reactant is needed to cause the relief (determined by the product) according to the Lab Manual.1 According to researcher Dr. Catherine Chen, sodium bicarbonate is used for the acid base netrualization.2 The Lab Manual presented the following reaction in which the active ingredient in Alka Seltzer tablets sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) reacted with ... However, looking closely at Figure 1.1, the amounts of vinegar added increased in the experiment consequently making it the excess reactant to the sodium bicarbonate causing the graph in Figure 1.1 to level out.
