Santa Sabina Research Paper
The principal architectural elements of this design are the three aisled basilica with no
transepts. The basilica is an axially planned church with a long nave, side aisles, and an apse for
the altar. Santa Sabina also has a long, tall, broad nave, following an axial plan. The spolia are
the tall slender columns. Santa Sabina has windows made not of glass, but of selenite, a type of
transparent and colorless gypsum. Santa Sabina also has a flat wooden roof, coffered ceiling, and
thin walls supporting a light roof. As an early Christian basilica, Santa Sabina has thin walls
supporting wooden roofs with coffered ceilings. Lastly, Santa Sabina has a bare exterior with a
sensitively decorated interior, which represents the Christian whose exterior may not be very
attractive, but whose interior soul is gorgeous. Santa Sabina is made from brick and stone.... Show

Early Christian art has several features which are adapted from Roman elements. Santa Sabina
employed several Roman columns from Pagan temples. This type of reuse of architectural or
sculptural elements is known as spolia. Early Christian churches also came in two ways, both of
which were inspired by Roman architecture. Santa Sabina is an example of the more numerous
axially planned building, which has a long nave focusing on an apse. Early Christian basilicas, just
like in Santa Sabina, had thin walls supporting wooden roofs with coffered ceilings. Another
example of an element of the Christian design which was adapted from non Christian sources are
the spolia, or tall slender columns. Spolia is the reuse of architectural or sculptural places in
buildings generally different from their original contexts. These were taken from the Temple of
Juno in Rome and erected on the site of Santa Sabina. This serves as a statement of the triumph of
Christianity over

Abstract Business corporations often require summarized pieces of data in the form of pivot
tables for efficient and strategic decision making. However, the use of pivot tables poses certain
data storage problems especially in the light of the need to have the formulas stored with data. This
paper presents one data storage situation where using pivot tables for summarizing data was
unsuitable because the storage was done using a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, stored in XLS
format. The project purposes to implement the data storage using a database management system, in
this case, Microsoft Access to address the problem ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This paper implements the solution using Microsoft Access 2007. In this case, the table would
have each Employee with the values such as Al and Clara, the Date with values like 1/05/2011,
and the Status with values o, wh, and wa. This would result in several records per day but each
record would represent only one Employee. With this form of normalization, it is possible and
plain to create the desired pivot table. In fact, pivot tables generated from this normalized data
would be able to answer questions like which employee worked away on a certain day of the
month? Unfortunately, though, this data is stored in a way that the user would not be able to
see or even use it at times. There are many benefits of using a database over spreadsheets for
storing this kind of data. The following is a list of some of these benefits to the sales business

reduce or avoid data storage redundancy * Persistent storage of data structures and useful program
objects like queries and reports * Databases help enforce referential and standards * Databases

Suppression of Women through Isolation in The Feminine Mystique, Radicalesbians, and Trifles
It is far easier to break the spirit of one human being than that of a united group of people. Betty
Friedan s The Feminine Mystique , Radicalesbians , and Susan Glaspell s Trifles come to the same
conclusion: isolation and separation caused women to be vulnerable to domination by male society.
Social stigmatization by men, an inability to describe the situation, and a lack of personal identity
kept women apart from one another.
A fear of social stigma was one factor that kept women from supporting each other. In The Feminine
Mystique , Betty Friedan discusses how American housewives went about ... Show more content on

Stigma attached to the word lesbian also kept women apart from one another. Radicalesbians
describes the label lesbian as the debunking/scare term that keeps women from forming any primary
attachments, groups, or associations among ourselves. The women s movement was hurt by the
labeling by some in the media as a lesbian movement. Ironically, lesbians often felt
underrepresented in the movement while heterosexual women were afraid of being labeled
lesbians. Radicalesbians confronts this issue by arguing that women are being dominated by men
as long as the label dyke can be used to frighten a woman into a less militant stand, keep her
separate from her sisters, keep her from giving primacy to anything other than men and family.
An inability to communicate and a lack of a feeling of sisterhood kept women from communing
with one another. In Susan Glaspell s play Trifles , Mrs. Hale told Mrs. Peters that women live
close together and we live far apart. We all go through the same things it s all just a different kind
of the same thing. Mrs. Hale didn t know how to communicate with the oppressed Mrs. Wright so
she simply stayed away from her until it was too late. In The Feminine Mystique , Betty Friedan
also talks about the issue of communication. The housewives that Friedan wrote about had to
develop a vocabulary to discuss the problem that had no name before they were able to come
together. Until women realized that the personal is

Bethel University Student Analysis
In a transitional setting, a university will have instructors who will lecture all semester long and
have you complete two tests; one mid term and a final exam. As well as have a set time and place
for the aforementioned lecture to take place. In some universities attendance is not a requirement.
They want you to pass the test in the middle and at the end of the year. You could be in a class

The Non Alcoholic Beverage Segment
The non alcoholic beverage segment is a very competitive and dynamic sector and encompasses
a broad range of categories as showed in the chart below: The market size is currently around $
170 billion in sales and is projected to grow to $190 billion by 2020. As the graph below points
out, the CSDs remain the largest single sub category within the segment. However, as the CSD sub
category continues to decline, it is expected that most of the segment growth will be driven by
smaller, emerging better for you brands.
In reality, many of these sub categories are already experiencing a growth driven by both the
increasing demand for healthier, better for you alternatives and the companies abilities to launch
new products with original flavors and innovative packaging.
As outlined in the chart above, between 2003 and 2013, per capita consumption of CSDs
decreased by 23%, while bottled water saw a 105% increase and juices and other noncarbonated
drinks increased 55%. While the CSDs sales are expected to continue declining, other healthier and
functional non alcoholic beverage categories are expected to continue gaining share.
MARKET TRENDS
At least three factors may be considered as growth propellers in the group of healthy, non
carbonated beverages. The most important and widely discussed is the growing consumer
awareness and concerns about the effects of diet on health and well being. This new approach,

The Political Background Of Hobby
Well first off, I d like to say that having never really been all that interested in politics, analyzing
the life of a politician wasn t exactly something I felt too enthusiastic to delve into. Having said
all that, my intrigue in understanding the political background of Hobby picked up right from
page #1 in the book. Being a first generation American in my family with direct roots to the small
fairly new nation of Bangladesh and being a New York native myself, I ve never really thought
of how much a connection one such as Hobby must have with a state or a land to truly become
immersed in its realm of politics. Dating back to the Civil War, Hobby s ancestors both provided
service to the Texan republic from Major Alfred Marmaduke Hobby of the Eighth Texas
Confederate Infantry Regiment to Captain of Company D Edwin E. Hobby. The Marmaduke s
have made a great impact on Texas ever since, with Major Marmaduke rejecting Union Lt.
Kittredge s demand to inspect government buildings as well as retaliating against the Union ship
USS Arthur itself through open fire and Edwin Hobby going onto becoming a district judge within
the Livingston and Polk counties respectively. Bill Hobby s very own father; Will Hobby went
from being the president of the Houston Post to Lieutenant Governor of Texas.
Another thing I noticed was how far a single implementation of a law or an amendment can so
drastically change the political culture even if it takes a few generations to sink in. On pages

How Did Greek Decentralization
Decentralization was positive to Ancient Greece. Decentralization allowed Greek city states to
experiment with unique forms of government and led to prosperity and advancements in art,
technology, math, science and military areas.
Greece could not be centralized because of its geography. The mountainous regions are significant
in that they prevented Greek city states from unifying and the uneven terrain and transportation
made connection and communication difficult. With so little fertile land and fresh water, it was
impossible to support a large, demanding population as a centralized government would. Therefore
the Greeks gave their loyalty to local, small communities.
Decentralization allowed Greek city states to experiment with unique forms of government.
Aristotle, a Greek philosopher, believed that there were four forms of government existed in Greece
, for example, monarchy, democracy, oligarchy and lastly tyranny. Athens was widely known for
inventing the idea, democracy. All major matters of public policy were determined at meetings of

would the military power of Greece have been as strong as it was during the existence of Spartan

The Affect of National Culture on Human Resources Essay
INTRODUCTION
In today s business environment, the complexity of international business has increased and
international competition has been highlighted as an essential element for multinational firms
(MNCs). Thus, in order to gain competitive advantage, various resources are utilized, such as
financial capital, technology location or human resource (HR). Moreover, HR could be seemed as
one of the most important resource which has also become a focus of attention of senior managers
in MNCs. As suggested by MacMillan(1984), MNCs can gain competitive advantage through use
of HR practice, such as training, compensation, socialization, selection, performance appraisal and
career development, as long as other firms are unable to duplicate their ... Show more content on

Based on Hofstede s (1993) definition of national culture, it is stated that national culture is the
software of the mind, and it is deeply embedded in everyday life and fairly resistant to change.
Moreover, it is confirmed that national culture has a significant relationship with HR policies and
practice (Hofstede, 1993). Also, Earley (1994) demonstrated that national cultural values that
reinforce HR are more likely to yield predictable behaviour and better performances. This is because
a national culture is usually characterized by the values of the people who belong to that culture, so
well HR practices are consistent with existing behaviour expectations and routines that transcend
the workplace. Employees are not distracted from work if HR practices are consistent with national
cultural value. The various values had been grouped, by Schuler and Jackson (1994), into four
categories, work goal importance, need deficiency, fulfillment, and job satisfaction, managerial and
organizational variables, and work role and interpersonal orientation. Furthermore, Hofstede (1993)
has presented four largely independent dimensions of differences among national values systems,
which were labeled Power Distance , Uncertainty Avoidance, Individualism vs. Collectivism, and
Masculinity vs. Femininity.
1. Power Distance, indicates the extent to which the fact that power is distributed unequally is
accepted in the society by those who do and do not possess power.

Different Forms of Power Presented in My Last Duchess, A Woman to Her Lover and La Belle
Dame Sans Merci
Amongst the three love poems examined in this essay, the theme of male or female power in
relationships pervades throughout. The views of the speakers are expressed and defined through
literary and poetic techniques. This gives the reader an insight into the speaker s problems and
dissatisfaction with a relationship, due to an imbalance of power. However there are dissimilarities
between the poems for example where in La Belle Dame Sans Merci the female displays
supernatural power and dominance over a knight, the Duke in My Last Duchess desires
psychological power over his Duchess.

Also the Duke believes himself to be above the level of common people saying he would never
stoop down to their level. From this we can presume the Duke is afraid of losing his power, and
would rather hold his head up high and suffer for it rather than stoop . The use of this word
indicates that the Duke is in a state of mind where he sees himself as superior compared to others.
However as we read on we learn that the Duke had limited control over his wife. He states that She
had a heart…to soon made glad , showing that he felt she was amused easily and distracted
away from him perhaps by other men. This is amplified further when he says She liked whate er
she looked on , showing he believes she undermined his control over her and paid attention to other
men . We can infer from this that the Duke was disturbed about his deficit of restrain over his wife
and is deeply angered at how she thanked men other than himself.
The Duke is outraged at the lack of affection he receives from his Duchess, and provides the
reader with reasons as to why he deserves more. The Duke says She ranked my gift of a nine
hundred years old name with anybody s gift . Here the Duke explains that his supremacy, which he
received from his family name, has stretched over several centuries and his Duchess should
therefore appreciate him for it. His contenders have a lot less to offer but still

Traumatic Stress
Most people probably know by now that high levels of unmanaged stress can lead to very serious
physical symptoms and illnesses. But did you know that excessive stress can also cause damaging
changes in your behaviors too, such as stress eating or self harming? These are just two ways in
which people try to stop feeling overwhelmed as stresstakes a toll on their lives. But there are many
others. Here are my five best tips to stop stress from ruining your life.
Tip #1 Take Small Steps
Question: How do you eat an elephant? Answer: One bite at a time!
Just like the joke, if you are faced with an enormous task that seems just too hard to do, break it
down into little achievable steps and tackle them one at a time. It s easier to accomplish small
goals and doing so will give you a great sense of achievement. And as you finish each small step,

What this means is that everyone always looks to be better off than you (in whatever way you
re thinking about) when see from your perspective, And falling short is one way to pile the stress
on. So to manage your stress levels in these situations, simply stop comparing yourself to
everyone you meet. That way you can never come off worse. And if you don t allow yourself to
feel inferior to everyone you meet, you will soon find your confidence starting to soar.
Tip #3 Get a Furry Friend
Stroking a furry animal has been shown to have such beneficial effects on your stress levels and
heart health that hospitals allow them in to help patients manage their stress, And research has
shown that during a play session with a dog, the owner s and dog s serotonin levels rose and stress
levels fell significantly. Pets can give your mood a much needed lift but if you are allergic to fur,
don t worry. Any pet, even a goldfish can be a great boost after a hard day. Just make sure you
repay your pet s loyalty by looking after it properly.

The Transcontinental Railroad Network Connected The East...
The Transcontinental Railroad network connected the East and the West coasts; it was completed
on May 10, 1869. It increased America s imports and exports, as well as generated a national interest
in tourism; however, the construction of such project encountered a series of issues. These ranged
from corruption, the reluctant choice to hire Chinese workers and environmental obstacles. Thanks
to the vision of some individuals and the authorization of President Abraham Lincoln, the
Transcontinental Railroad became a reality; once the project was completed it connected the entire

Black To Reality Play Analysis
BACK TO REALITY combines comedy with drama. It s a story that sends a strong message about
learning to appreciate life and that money can t buy happiness. These themes resonate well with the
mainstream audience.
While the message is solid, the overall script would benefit from more development. The areas to re
examine include the structure, tension, and character development.
The opening does a good job of establishing Dan s ordinary world. He s established as being a loser
and he s pretty unhappy with his life.
There are solid inciting events that are the catalyst for change for Dan. The first is when he finds
his wife cheating on him. The only concern about this scene is that it feels like a familiar scene
that has been done before when the husband or the wife comes home early to find their cheating
spouse.
The other inciting event is when Dan wins the lottery, but the idea of the lottery isn t well setup or
foreshadowed. Thus, it s a bit jarring to suddenly learn he has a lottery ticket and that s it s the
winning lottery ticket.
However, even after he wins the lottery, the script doesn t define any real goal for Dan. There s
no actionable or external goal for Dan to achieve. Without a strong goal for the protagonist, the
plot feels as if it has no clear direction. If the goal is for Dan to win his wife back then the second

Europe s. Born November 30, 1874 in Oxfordshire, England he experienced a tough childhood,
but no doubt did he prosper to do great things for his country. At a time of chaos during World War
II, Winston Churchill brought strategic ideas and courage to defeat one of Europe s greatest, yet
worst leaders, Adolf Hitler. Churchill was a british statesman, army officer, writer, and served as
Prime Minister for the United Kingdomfrom 1940 1945 and then again from 1951 1955. Winston
Churchillshaped Europe s history and brought them all to victory. As a young child he suffered
from a neglectful childhood, but maintained a close relationship with his nurse,... Show more

Churchill did not approve of this and had even proposed that Britain preempt German aggression
by unilaterally occupying Norwegian iron mines and sea ports. Neville did not listen and
Germany invaded and occupied Norway. During May of that year Parliament had a debate
concerning Neville Chamberlain and his capabilities since the Norway crisis. The people of the
United Kingdom were becoming scared, Germany was invading and taking over territory after
territory in Europe. Something had to be done or they would be next just like everyone else.
After the debate on what action to take concerning Chamberlain, King George VI appointed Sir
Winston Churchill as Prime Minister and minister of defense. People were whispering and
talking of Winston being back. In ways it seemed to have brought the people hope for their
country s future. At first Churchill did not see the threat of Adolf Hitler in the 1930 s, but around
1938 when Germany began seizing control of their neighbors he saw Hitler for who he really was.
With the people of Great Britain being concerned and scared for their country, Churchill knew that
they would need to know it would not be

Edith Cavell was a British nurse who worked at a hospital in Belgium. In the summer of 1914,
Edith Cavell, head matron of the Berkendael Medical Institute, was on a holiday visiting her
family in England when news came of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in far Sarajevo.
Edith s family urged her to stay in England, but she believed duty demanded that she return to the

family again. Soon after the Germans invaded Belgium, the hospital where Edith worked became
a Red Cross hospital and she cared for wounded Belgian, German, French and British soldiers.

How Darwin Has A Profound Effect Beyond The World Of Science
Darwin once said we all come from monkeys, but not literally. This quote was said by Hal in the
Malcolm in the Middle episode, Flashback. This is one of many examples of how Darwin has
had a profound effect beyond the world of science. Through analysis of several elements of pop
culture, one can see how their underlying themes are related to Darwin. The impact of Darwin s
principles can be seen in video games, literature, and television.
The relevance of Darwin s work can be observed in video games. For example, Darwin s theory of
natural selection can be applied to the general gameplay of PokГ©mon FireRed. Darwin states that
individuals with variations best suited for the habitat survive and reproduce. The protagonist in the
games ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This type of move inheritance is similar to real life traits can be passed down. In a different
example, the Sonic franchise can be analyzed from the developer s point of view. The first Sonic
the Hedgehog game was created in 1991. It was well received because of its groundbreaking colors,
as well as the high speed nature of the game. The Sega company realized that Sonic appealed to a
wide audience, so naturally, future games are going to feature similar characteristics of the original
Sonic game. This concept is comparable to Darwin s idea that a species must survive to pass their
traits to the next generation (Darwin, Foundations 1). Sega essentially implements elements of the
old Sonic games, while at the same time adding new elements to improve the sequels. The theories
of natural selection and heredity provide for a scientific viewpoint of the PokГ©mon and Sonic
franchises beyond the entertainment.
Many literary works portray Darwinan principles. In Jeanne Duprau s The City of Ember, for
instance, a group of scientists known as The Builders create an underground city called Ember,
which has a generator and supplies for the citizens to survive at least 200 years. This city was
intended to protect its inhabitants from impending doom. About 240 years after the creation of this
city, the supplies become scarce, and the generator is decaying. It is up to the central characters,

The Pros And Cons Of The Berlin Wall
Usually walls are put into places to avoid people to cross borders and keep peace but they
destroy peace. Recently one could have heard in the News that Trump wants the Mexicans to
pay for a wall between Mexico and the United States. This Wall should make it impossible for
people to cross the border unofficially. As one could know from history classes, we had a wall in
Germany for many years which was built by the winner countries of the second world war for a
similar reason. Before the Wall, many people from East Germanytried to escape to West Germany
where they had obviously better living conditions. It divided Germany in East and West
Germany. Additionally, there was a part of Berlin, what was in the East German part, isolated
from a huge wall that belonged to West Germany. This wall made it hard for the citizens of East
Germany to visit West Germany. The Government of East Germany had other principles than the
government of West Germany and it was not in the interest of the East German government to
show their citizens how good their life could be in West Germany. After the falling of the Wall, it
was possible for everyone to travel in Germany whenever they want without standing in line at the
borders. But there was a big gap in wealth between East and West Germany. Even today the loans
in West Germany are lower and the federal states have less money than the ones in West Germany.
But in Berlin, one can visit ruins of the Berlin Wallwhich are colored and painted. As one could
know from visiting Berlin, there is only a small part of the Wall left but at other parts, one could
find the position of the wall with marked flagging on the ground. Additionally, one could buy a
piece of the wall as a souvenir. Standing in front of the ruins of the Berlin wall inspires this
realization: Peace is about breaking barriers not building them.
Section three of Patrick Major s book Behind the Berlin Wall: East Germany and the Frontiers of
Power published in 2010 from the Oxford University Press Inc., called The Fall of the Wall: 9
November 1989 is about developing the reasons for the fall of the wall. The author starts with
describing the political, financial and economic situation in East Germany and the other eastern

Atrial Septal Disease
Atrial septal defects (ASDs) are a deficiency in the wall between the right and left atrium of the
heart (5). ASDs account for 10% of all congenital heart defects(19) and 30% of those diagnosed in
adulthood (20). Definitive diagnosis is by transthoracic echocardiography, though signs of an ASD
can be found on physical examination, electrocardiography and chest radiography (21).
There are four types of ASD, classified according to their position in the interatrial septum (Figure
2):
Ostium secundum defects which represent 80% of all ASDs and are located in the region of the
fossa ovalis
Ostium primum defects which are located in the lower portion of the septum, adjacent to the
atrioventricular (AV) valve

Exertional dyspnoea and fatigue are the most common symptoms. These are caused by a left to
right shunt, when the connection between the two atria allows blood to pass from the left side of the
heart to the right. This occurs because the pressure in the left side of the heart is naturally higher
than the right. The extra blood from the left atrium overloads the right atrium and the right ventricle,
causing right heart dilation, and subsequent heart failure (5). If left untreated, patients can develop
reversal of the ASD, resulting in a right to left shunt; this is known as Eisenmenger s syndrome.
Other complications include atrial tachyarrhythmias or stroke (21, 22).
A patient is indicated for closure if they experience symptoms, irrespective of age, to reduce
subsequent morbidity and mortality (21). To reduce this risk, closure should be considered in
patients at risk of a paradoxical embolism, such as patients undergoing pacemaker implantation or

A firm that identifies innovation as a strategic activity is more likely to attract creative
workers in search of exciting opportunities in the war over talent
A shareholder theory of firm and a stakeholder theory of firm may differ in their respective
evaluation method of firm performance. Both theories however recognize the importance of value
creation as the economic role of firms as institutions. The New Institutional Economics (NIE)
emphasizes incentives alignment, while also viewing stakeholder engagements as methods to
expand the boundaries of firms. The difference in performance evaluation between the two
approaches can be reduced if stakeholders, while formulating incentive alignment, also evaluate the
mechanisms of establishing a common currency value. The concomitant development of
stakeholder engagement, incentive alignment, and value currency creation is argued to be an
evolutionary process with the efficiency implications of the two theories tending to converge.
Business sustainability, which originally was viewed as a question of corporate governance, has

responsibility of corporate boards and managers to focus on business sustainability by creating

creditors, employers, suppliers, government, and society at large.

A Good Guy With A Gun
Wayne LaPierre, an American author and gun rights advocate, once said, The only thing that
stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, which is an expression that has no
implication with civilians stopping a criminal during a crime scene and is a statement that
continues to lead everyone getting hurt in the end. No mass shooting in the past thirty years has
been stopped by an armed civilian. A good guy with a gun has never contributed to stopping a
felon during a crime scene, so why would people believe that someone with a gun would try to
stop someone else with a gun? During a crime scene with an offender threatening people with a
gun, a civilian trying to use their gun just makes the situation worse and causes more chaos. A
good guy with a gun will not be extremely helpful or effective against a bad guy with a gun, just
more pandemonium. Also, when a firearmdealer is selling a gun to a stranger, he does not know
whether or not that stranger is a good guy or a bad guy, so what if he was a bad guy? What if that
same night, the man he just sold a gun to was going to use that same gun to kill an innocent family
in their own home?
Right now, there is no effective way for people to know who the bad guy is and who the good
guy is, so people just end up selling guns to nearly everyone who can pay for one. Today in United
States history, gun control laws are very weak and ineffective in controlling the great harms and
dangers than can be caused by guns. Guns lead to

I touched on the supplemental nature of these awards. In my opinion making these awards
supplemental short changes the recipient, they have displayed superior proficiency and leadership
within the regiment. While they have been officially recognized by the award, it doesn t help them
achieve promotion above their peers, add promotion points to their promotion worksheet, or even
give them an addition ribbon for their rack. The awards are essentially the equivalent of a coin,
while you are being thanked for your superior service, they possess little benefit for the individual
toward promotion. Transitioning the regimental awards to a more official status could make the
awards more prestigious, inspire greater competition for the awards, and help recipients advance
within the regiment. All of these afore mentioned, benefit the Engineer Regiment as a whole, and

Edward Taylor And Anne Bradstreet
Throughout this class we have read different types of literature from many different authors. Some
of the material I truly enjoyed and some of it not so much. I really enjoyed the Native American
literature that we started out with in the beginning of the semester. I think the Native Americans
are beautiful people who appreciated the land more than most. The Native Americans were smart
people who used short stories such as The Chief s Daughters and Coyote and Bear to warn their
readers of dangers or teach them moral lessons. I also enjoyed authors such as Edward Taylor, Anne
Bradstreet, and Thomas Paine. I did not like reading William Byrd s material, chiefly because he
was rude and spoke nastily of the Native Americans. It personally offended me that he thought their
belief of afterlife to be gross and sensual .
I have read material from many different authors and although I enjoyed most of them, I have to
say that my two favorites were Edward Taylor and Anne Bradstreet. Both of these authors are
Puritans, and it is easy to tell when reading their pieces. Puritans typically write in simple language,
and always refer to God. Edward Taylor created a powerful analogy in his piece, Upon a Spider
Catching a Fly. The analogy that he describes is an analogy between people and Satan. The spider
represents the devil, who is manipulative and wants to trap people in his web of sin. The wasp
represents someone who is strong in their faith and does not let themselves get trapped in

(Andrews 491) Civilization s need for justice derives from the need for democracy, which
promotes equality. Reinhold Niebuhr, an American social thinker ( Niebuhr, Reinhold ) said,
Man s capacity for justice makes democracy possible, but man s inclination to injustice makes
democracy necessary . (The Oxford Dictionary 362) This is evident in the government of the
United States. At first only white men could partake in government. This appalling inequality
led to African Americans and women demanding the right to vote and stopping the injustice
brought against them. In the movie 12 Angry Men, the story of a trial with a jury of varying
backgrounds and beliefs, justice is a theme at the forefront. Juror #8: It s always difficult to keep
personal prejudice out of a thing like this. And wherever you run into it, prejudice always
obscures the truth. I don t really know what the truth is. I don t suppose anybody will ever really
know. Nine of us now seem to feel that the defendant is innocent, but we re just gambling on
probabilities we may be wrong. We may be trying to let a guilty man go free, I don t know.
Prejudice is shown throughout history and in this movie; Juror #6 has a prejudice against
Hispanics and wishes to rid the streets of them while Juror #12 was attacked by his teenage son
and believes all teenagers are evil. As Niebuhr said, mans capacity for injustice is demonstrated
through his prejudices against others. Democracy

The Importance Of Reading Young Adult Literature
Currently, there is a debate about whether or not adults should be reading young adult (YA)
literature. Some on the side for adults reading young adult literature highlight the benefits of adults
reading YA literature; specifically reading it in order to relate to feelings they had as a young adult.
This ability to relate to YA literature in a personal manner could be very useful to teachers who
work with young adults. Teachers can use their findings from the YA novels to further empathize
with their students, learn how to integrate these YA novels into their curriculum to make it easier
for students to understand, and learn to understand and help students coping with some sort of
emotional trauma that may affect their learning. In the classroom, it is highly important that a
teacher be able to empathize with and relate to their students. A teacher with a good understanding
of the thought processes and emotions of their students often have an easier time relaying
information to them (Sylwester 1994). One way that teachers could learn to relate and empathize
with their students is by reading YA novels. YA novels are written to be understood and related to
by young adults, but anyone who has lived through adolescence should be able to find a YA novel
they can relate their life to. The ability for teachers to read these books and relate to them can in
turn help them reconnect with the thought processes they had in their formative years. Being able

Theropod Dinosaurs Research Paper
Dinosaurs capture the attention of children and adults alike, and many people think that they are
long gone. You might be surprised to find that they are not extinct, but rather perching in your
backyard. The theory that theropods evolved into birds was proposed nearly a century and a half
ago and is supported by more and more modern evidence. You will find that the distinction between
birds and dinosaurs will become difficult, as they have so many parallels. The similarities between
birds and dinosaurs strongly suggest that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs.
The theory that theropod dinosaurs are the ancestors of modern birds originated after the discovery
of Archeopteryx lithographica in 1861 in Solnhofen, Germany. Thomas Huxley, a strong supporter

Ratites and penguins are two groups of flightless birds we have today. The origin of flight is an
ongoing debate from scientists, but there are two main theories: that flight evolved arboreally or
that it evolved from ground dwelling dinosaurs. Both have compelling evidence. The theory that
flight started in the trees begins with WAIR (Wing Assisted Incline Running). Discovered in 2001
by Ken Dial at the University of Montana, it is the way many ground dwelling birds get into trees
to rest at night. These birds would flap their wings back and forth (rather than up and down) to
generate traction. The larger the wing size, the steeper the angle a bird could run up (Holtz 149).
Also supporting this theory is the presence of toes adapted for perching in several species of
dinosaurs. From there, the dinosaurs could have glided from tree to tree and eventually taken
flight. A ground dwelling origin of flight also has convincing evidence. A study found that non
avian feathered theropods could get a boost of speed by flapping their wings (Sloan 51). Therefore,
longer feathers and bigger wings meant faster speeds until flight could

Final Tax Return
When a person dies, filing final tax returns becomes mandatory for the executor of the estate. The
executor must file a final federal income tax return and a final state income tax return (if required)
reporting all income earned by the decedent in the final year of life up until the day of death.
Furthermore, even if the executor hires a taxprofessional to file the final tax returns, the executor
must know how to prepare the information needed by the tax professional. Otherwise, the tax
professional will charge the estate a substantial amount to handle the preparation as well as the
filing of the final tax returns.
How to Prepare the Final Tax Returns
As explained in the article Track the Estate Income, income earned by the decedent in the final
year of life up until the day of death requires reporting on the final tax returns. In addition, since
most 1099 s will report income earned for the entire year, the executor needs to be aware that the
1099 s need adjustment. Therefore, the following steps are necessary for the executor to prepare the
final tax returns accurately:

A Study Of Historical And Literary Context
Aside from discovering a text through the study of historical and literary context, it also requires a
careful grammatical analysis of the passage under consideration (Black 72). Grammatical analysis
is the separation of a subject to its parts or elements. Therefore, for one to effectively pull out the
contextual meaning of a text, they must understand the text; and to effectively pull out the original
meaning of a particular text, one must correctly exegete the text. In particular, when gaining an
understanding of a text through the process of exegesis, one must use textual analysis, lexical
analysis, syntactical analysis, and structural analysis (Black 73 79). All of which contribute to the
importance of text interpretation.
When the interpreter discovers alternative wording within the Bible, textual analysis comes into
play (Black 73). Defined as an attempt to determine the original wording of a document , textual
analysis is essential for determining the wording within individual verses (Black 73). During the
process of textual analysis, the breaking down of a text to each individual word that points to the
original meaning of a text occurs. In conclusion, it links meanings together to form one thought;
this leads to lexical analysis.
The attempt to determine the meaning of the words within the text is known as lexical analysis
(Black 73). The fundamental concern of lexical analysis is a word study (Black 73). When one
carefully examines a text to pull the meaning

However; I was under on all of the other food groups such as grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy and

that I consumed was 934 calories short of that allowance. The report also seems to be based on a
full week so that could have also played a role in the food groups not being met. The number of
grains that were allowed to me was eight ounces and I had zero ounces of whole grains and three
ounces of refined grains. I was given at least three cups of vegetables and I did not consume any

The Formation Of A Corporation
Abstract
The formation of a business is generally influenced by motive or strategy that best suits the
business owners. There are four types of business entities that exist and each having different tax
implications. These entities include sole proprietorships, C Corporations (C Corps), S
Corporations (S Corps), and Partnerships. This paper will focus on the advantages and
disadvantages of C Corporations and S Corps and deciding which one makes more sense than the
other.
Formation of a Corporation
A corporation is formed under the laws of the state in which the corporation is registered
(SBA.gov). Corporations can either be a C Corp or an S Corp; in which both have owner
shareholders. Forming a corporation requires establishing and registering your business with
your state government and filing documents named Articles of Incorporation. These documents
are filed with your Secretary of State in order to provide information to the state about your
business and are also made available to the public (SBA.gov). Generally, corporations provide
limited liability for all owners (Sumutka, 2009). A C Corporations is an independent legal entity
that is owned by one or more shareholders and governed by subchapter C of the Internal Revenue
Code. C Corps, not shareholders, are held liable for any actions or debt incurred (SBA.gov).
Shareholders exchange money, property or both for stock in the C Corp. A C Corp is recognized as
a separate entity for federal income tax purposes and is

oral histories that were transmitted for centuries by storytellers and that live on in the language
works of many contemporary American Indian writers (Gunther). There was a very clear idea
that the native American writes were more alike in the themes and ideas that they were writing
about. It is not a surprise when I read and come across writers who have very different ways in
telling a story or poem. But what seemed to interest me when reading the work of two different
Native American writers is how similar they are and not as different as one would imagine. The
different prospective of writers are their true identities as a writer so it is amazing to see when
some writers can see through the same lens. When researching Native American writers, I came
across two writers, both women, with a similar back ground and also a very similar was of

Argumentative Essay On Donald Trump
While Liu chooses his ten main ten things to be mostly politics, I will do almost the same. The
most important person in America is always the president, so naturally, I will include Donald
Trump on my list. Secondly, along the lines of politics will be Net Neutrality. I don t have a
strong opinion on it myself, but I do believe it is essential to know the ins and outs of it due to how
important the internet is. The third topic will be pure politics. Hirsh did not include the simple word
of politics, so I will add it myself. The fourth will be Elon Musk, a tech giant. Finally is video
games, which is something dear to my heart, and also ingrained in most of society. This should be
learned by any American or soon to be American due to their importance on America s culture.
Donald Trump, America s current president. He didn t come to power easily. But that is what
makes him so important. Trump s biggest feature was that he was never politically correct, and
still is not to this day. Many people saw this as a good thing to have in a president. He wouldn t
be pushed aside by some foreign country. Trump is also different from the previous president in
that he was a large businessman, he was a billionaire. This means he s probably well versed in
the political side of businesses. However, with this, he also lacks the knowledge of being a
politician. He never held an office anywhere else. He only shares this with five other presidents.
Everyone should know how Trump came to be,

The Four Stages Of Sleep (REM) Rapid Eye Movement
According to (Carpenter Huffman, 2012, p. 121), there are four stages of sleep; the first four
are called non REM state then the last and final state is called REM )Rapid Eye Movement).
When the sleep cycle starts it lasts an average of 1 2 hours; the first sleep cycle has relatively
short REM sleep followed by a long period of deep sleep. Later in the sleep cycle REM period
lengthen and deep sleep time decreases. Even though cats tend to sleep longer than human its shows
that they have slept similar patterns as humans, including sleep phases of REM stage. When human
enter REM stage, breathing becomes more rapid, irregular and shallow; the eyes start to move
rapidly back and forth. In this stage, the limb muscles become temporarily paralyzed.

Literature Review: Does Biological Motion Transmit Information About the Emotional States of
Others?
Actors and normal people alike, have exploited the ability to display emotion through body
movement for centuries. However, until not long ago, psychologists considered body movements
only as displays of the intensity of emotions not their specificity. Instead, facial expressions were
thought to be crucial for the judgement of emotions (Ekman, 1973). It was not until the second half
of the twentieth century that research into biological motion illustrated that emotional state can be
judged by body movement, even if only basic emotions such as anger or happiness. However, the
evolutionary function of humans ability to express emotion was suggested a whole century earlier
by Darwin (1872).
According to Darwin (1872), each basic emotion has a combination of postures, expressions and
gestures and the ability to recognise emotions has an adaptive advantage. Following on from this
theory, Walk (1984), later proposed the alarm hypothesis which states that the emotions of anger
and fear are more readily recognisable in order to aid survival. Several of the following studies
have addressed this theory. This review will examine the literature into the human ability to detect
the emotional state of others through biological motion as further insight could help people with
impaired social functions, such as those suffering from autism or schizophrenia. The following
areas will be

The Vietnam War Essay
Vietnam War
In the 1950 s, the United States had begun to send troops to Vietnam and during the following 25
year period, the ensuing war would create some of the strongest tensions in US history. Almost 3
million US men and women were sent thousands of miles to fight for what was a questionable
cause. In total, it is estimated that over 2 million people on both sides were killed.
This site does not try to document the entire history of the VietnamWar but is intended as a picture
essay, illustrating some of the incredible conditions under which soldiers from both sides lived,
fought, played and ultimately died. Almost all of the images shown were taken by the legendary
combat photographer, Tim Page; they are nothing short of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

During WWII, the Japanese government took control of much of the area and set up a puppet
regime that was eventually forced out by the Vietnamese at the end of that war in 1945.
After WWII and until 1955, France fought hard to regain their former territories in the region, but
with a poorly organized army and little determination among the troops, their efforts soon
collapsed. The French were finally defeated at Dien Bien Phu on the 8th of May 1954 by the
communist general Vo Nguyen Giap. The French troops withdrew, leaving a buffer zone separating
the North and South and set up elections in order to form a government in the South. The
communist regime set up its headquarters in Hanoi under the leadership of Ho Chi Minh. Many
North Vietnamese left the country and fled south where the self proclaimed president, Ngo Dinh
Diem had formed the Republic of Vietnam.
Between 1955 and 1960, the North Vietnamese with the assistance of the southern communist
Vietcong, tried to take over the government in South Vietnam, and in November 1963 President
Diem was overthrown and executed. The following year, the North Vietnamese began a massive
drive to conquer the whole country aided by China and Russia.
Fearing a communist takeover of the entire region, the United States grew more and more wary of
the progress of Ho Chi Minh and the Vietcong. Communism had become the evil menace in the
United States and with expansion of Soviet rule into Eastern Europe, Korea and

Suppression of Women through Isolation in The Feminine Mystique, Radicalesbians, and Trifles It is far easier to break the spirit of one human being than that of a united group of people. Betty Friedan s The Feminine Mystique , Radicalesbians , and Susan Glaspell s Trifles come to the same conclusion: isolation and separation caused women to be vulnerable to domination by male society. Social stigmatization by men, an inability to describe the situation, and a lack of personal identity kept women apart from one another. The women s movement was hurt by the labeling by some in the media as a lesbian movement. Ironically, lesbians often felt underrepresented in the movement while heterosexual women were afraid of being labeled lesbians. Radicalesbians confronts this issue by arguing that women are being dominated by men as long as the label dyke can be used to frighten a woman into a less militant stand, keep her separate from her sisters, keep her from giving primacy to anything other than men and family. An inability to communicate and a lack of a feeling of sisterhood kept women from communing with one another. In Susan Glaspell s play Trifles , Mrs. Hale told Mrs. Peters that women live close together and we live far apart. We all go through the same things it s all just a different kind of the same thing. As the graph below points out, the CSDs remain the largest single sub category within the segment. However, as the CSD sub category continues to decline, it is expected that most of the segment growth will be driven by smaller, emerging better for you brands. The Political Background Of Hobby Well first off, I d like to say that having never really been all that interested in politics, analyzing the life of a politician wasn t exactly something I felt too enthusiastic to delve into. Having said all that, my intrigue in understanding the political background of Hobby picked up right from page #1 in the book. Being a first generation American in my family with direct roots to the small fairly new nation of Bangladesh and being a New York native myself, I ve never really thought of how much a connection one such as Hobby must have with a state or a land to truly become immersed in its realm of politics. Dating back to the Civil War, Hobby s ancestors both provided service to the Texan republic from Major Alfred Marmaduke Hobby of the Eighth Texas Confederate Infantry Regiment to Captain of Company D Edwin E. Hobby. The Marmaduke s have made a great impact on Texas ever since, with Major Marmaduke rejecting Union Lt. Kittredge s demand to inspect government buildings as well as retaliating against the Union ship USS Arthur itself through open fire and Edwin Hobby going onto becoming a district judge within the Livingston and Polk counties respectively. Bill Hobby s very own father; Will Hobby went from being the president of the Houston Post to Lieutenant Governor of Texas. • 12. How Did Greek Decentralization Decentralization was positive to Ancient Greece. Decentralization allowed Greek city states to experiment with unique forms of government and led to prosperity and advancements in art, technology, math, science and military areas. Greece could not be centralized because of its geography. Moreover, HR could be seemed as one of the most important resource which has also become a focus of attention of senior managers in MNCs. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Based on Hofstede s (1993) definition of national culture, it is stated that national culture is the software of the mind, and it is deeply embedded in everyday life and fairly resistant to change. Moreover, it is confirmed that national culture has a significant relationship with HR policies and practice (Hofstede, 1993). Also, Earley (1994) demonstrated that national cultural values that reinforce HR are more likely to yield predictable behaviour and better performances. This is because a national culture is usually characterized by the values of the people who belong to that culture, so well HR practices are consistent with existing behaviour expectations and routines that transcend the workplace. Employees are not distracted from work if HR practices are consistent with national cultural value. The various values had been grouped, by Schuler and Jackson (1994), into four categories, work goal importance, need deficiency, fulfillment, and job satisfaction, managerial and organizational variables, and work role and interpersonal orientation. Furthermore, Hofstede (1993) has presented four largely independent dimensions of differences among national values systems, which were labeled Power Distance , Uncertainty Avoidance, Individualism vs. Collectivism, and Masculinity vs. Femininity. 1. This quote was said by Hal in the Malcolm in the Middle episode, Flashback. This is one of many examples of how Darwin has had a profound effect beyond the world of science. Through analysis of several elements of pop culture, one can see how their underlying themes are related to Darwin. The impact of Darwin s principles can be seen in video games, literature, and television. The relevance of Darwin s work can be observed in video games. For example, Darwin s theory of natural selection can be applied to the general gameplay of PokГ©mon FireRed. The first Sonic the Hedgehog game was created in 1991. It was well received because of its groundbreaking colors, as well as the high speed nature of the game. The Sega company realized that Sonic appealed to a wide audience, so naturally, future games are going to feature similar characteristics of the original Sonic game. This concept is comparable to Darwin s idea that a species must survive to pass their traits to the next generation (Darwin, Foundations 1). Sega essentially implements elements of the old Sonic games, while at the same time adding new elements to improve the sequels. The theories of natural selection and heredity provide for a scientific viewpoint of the PokГ©mon and Sonic franchises beyond the entertainment. Many literary works portray Darwinan principles. • 27. The Pros And Cons Of The Berlin Wall Usually walls are put into places to avoid people to cross borders and keep peace but they destroy peace. Recently one could have heard in the News that Trump wants the Mexicans to pay for a wall between Mexico and the United States. This Wall should make it impossible for people to cross the border unofficially. As one could know from history classes, we had a wall in Germany for many years which was built by the winner countries of the second world war for a similar reason. Before the Wall, many people from East Germanytried to escape to West Germany where they had obviously better living conditions. It divided Germany in East and West Germany. Additionally, there was a part of Berlin, what was in the East German part, isolated from a huge wall that belonged to West Germany. This wall made it hard for the citizens of East Germany to visit West Germany. The Government of East Germany had other principles than the government of West Germany and it was not in the interest of the East German government to show their citizens how good their life could be in West Germany. After the falling of the Wall, it was possible for everyone to travel in Germany whenever they want without standing in line at the borders. But there was a big gap in wealth between East and West Germany. Even today the loans in West Germany are lower and the federal states have less money than the ones in West Germany. But in Berlin, one can visit ruins of the Berlin Wallwhich are colored and painted. As one could know from visiting Berlin, there is only a small part of the Wall left but at other parts, one could find the position of the wall with marked flagging on the ground. Additionally, one could buy a piece of the wall as a souvenir. Standing in front of the ruins of the Berlin wall inspires this realization: Peace is about breaking barriers not building them. Section three of Patrick Major s book Behind the Berlin Wall: East Germany and the Frontiers of Power published in 2010 from the Oxford University Press Inc., called The Fall of the Wall: 9 November 1989 is about developing the reasons for the fall of the wall. The extra blood from the left atrium overloads the right atrium and the right ventricle, causing right heart dilation, and subsequent heart failure (5). A Good Guy With A Gun Wayne LaPierre, an American author and gun rights advocate, once said, The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, which is an expression that has no implication with civilians stopping a criminal during a crime scene and is a statement that continues to lead everyone getting hurt in the end. No mass shooting in the past thirty years has been stopped by an armed civilian. A good guy with a gun has never contributed to stopping a felon during a crime scene, so why would people believe that someone with a gun would try to stop someone else with a gun? During a crime scene with an offender threatening people with a gun, a civilian trying to use their gun just makes the situation worse and causes more chaos. A good guy with a gun will not be extremely helpful or effective against a bad guy with a gun, just more pandemonium. Also, when a firearmdealer is selling a gun to a stranger, he does not know whether or not that stranger is a good guy or a bad guy, so what if he was a bad guy? What if that same night, the man he just sold a gun to was going to use that same gun to kill an innocent family in their own home? Right now, there is no effective way for people to know who the bad guy is and who the good guy is, so people just end up selling guns to nearly everyone who can pay for one. Some of the material I truly enjoyed and some of it not so much. I really enjoyed the Native American literature that we started out with in the beginning of the semester. I think the Native Americans are beautiful people who appreciated the land more than most. The Native Americans were smart people who used short stories such as The Chief s Daughters and Coyote and Bear to warn their readers of dangers or teach them moral lessons. I also enjoyed authors such as Edward Taylor, Anne Bradstreet, and Thomas Paine. I did not like reading William Byrd s material, chiefly because he was rude and spoke nastily of the Native Americans. It personally offended me that he thought their belief of afterlife to be gross and sensual . I have read material from many different authors and although I enjoyed most of them, I have to say that my two favorites were Edward Taylor and Anne Bradstreet. Both of these authors are Puritans, and it is easy to tell when reading their pieces. Puritans typically write in simple language, and always refer to God. Edward Taylor created a powerful analogy in his piece, Upon a Spider Catching a Fly. The analogy that he describes is an analogy between people and Satan. Some on the side for adults reading young adult literature highlight the benefits of adults reading YA literature; specifically reading it in order to relate to feelings they had as a young adult. This ability to relate to YA literature in a personal manner could be very useful to teachers who work with young adults. Teachers can use their findings from the YA novels to further empathize with their students, learn how to integrate these YA novels into their curriculum to make it easier for students to understand, and learn to understand and help students coping with some sort of emotional trauma that may affect their learning. In the classroom, it is highly important that a teacher be able to empathize with and relate to their students. A teacher with a good understanding of the thought processes and emotions of their students often have an easier time relaying information to them (Sylwester 1994). One way that teachers could learn to relate and empathize with their students is by reading YA novels. YA novels are written to be understood and related to by young adults, but anyone who has lived through adolescence should be able to find a YA novel they can relate their life to. You will find that the distinction between birds and dinosaurs will become difficult, as they have so many parallels. The similarities between birds and dinosaurs strongly suggest that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs. The origin of flight is an ongoing debate from scientists, but there are two main theories: that flight evolved arboreally or that it evolved from ground dwelling dinosaurs. Both have compelling evidence. The theory that flight started in the trees begins with WAIR (Wing Assisted Incline Running). Discovered in 2001 by Ken Dial at the University of Montana, it is the way many ground dwelling birds get into trees to rest at night. These birds would flap their wings back and forth (rather than up and down) to generate traction. The larger the wing size, the steeper the angle a bird could run up (Holtz 149). Also supporting this theory is the presence of toes adapted for perching in several species of dinosaurs. From there, the dinosaurs could have glided from tree to tree and eventually taken flight. A ground dwelling origin of flight also has convincing evidence. A study found that non avian feathered theropods could get a boost of speed by flapping their wings (Sloan 51). A Study Of Historical And Literary Context Aside from discovering a text through the study of historical and literary context, it also requires a careful grammatical analysis of the passage under consideration (Black 72). Grammatical analysis is the separation of a subject to its parts or elements. Therefore, for one to effectively pull out the contextual meaning of a text, they must understand the text; and to effectively pull out the original meaning of a particular text, one must correctly exegete the text. In particular, when gaining an understanding of a text through the process of exegesis, one must use textual analysis, lexical analysis, syntactical analysis, and structural analysis (Black 73 79). All of which contribute to the importance of text interpretation. When the interpreter discovers alternative wording within the Bible, textual analysis comes into play (Black 73). Defined as an attempt to determine the original wording of a document , textual analysis is essential for determining the wording within individual verses (Black 73). During the process of textual analysis, the breaking down of a text to each individual word that points to the original meaning of a text occurs. In conclusion, it links meanings together to form one thought; this leads to lexical analysis. The attempt to determine the meaning of the words within the text is known as lexical analysis (Black 73). The fundamental concern of lexical analysis is a word study (Black 73). The most important person in America is always the president, so naturally, I will include Donald Trump on my list. Secondly, along the lines of politics will be Net Neutrality. I don t have a strong opinion on it myself, but I do believe it is essential to know the ins and outs of it due to how important the internet is. The third topic will be pure politics. Hirsh did not include the simple word of politics, so I will add it myself. The fourth will be Elon Musk, a tech giant. Actors and normal people alike, have exploited the ability to display emotion through body movement for centuries. However, until not long ago, psychologists considered body movements only as displays of the intensity of emotions not their specificity. Instead, facial expressions were thought to be crucial for the judgement of emotions (Ekman, 1973). It was not until the second half of the twentieth century that research into biological motion illustrated that emotional state can be judged by body movement, even if only basic emotions such as anger or happiness. However, the evolutionary function of humans ability to express emotion was suggested a whole century earlier by Darwin (1872). According to Darwin (1872), each basic emotion has a combination of postures, expressions and gestures and the ability to recognise emotions has an adaptive advantage. Following on from this theory, Walk (1984), later proposed the alarm hypothesis which states that the emotions of anger and fear are more readily recognisable in order to aid survival. Several of the following studies have addressed this theory. This review will examine the literature into the human ability to detect the emotional state of others through biological motion as further insight could help people with impaired social functions, such as those suffering from autism or schizophrenia. The following areas will be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

After WWII and until 1955, France fought hard to regain their former territories in the region, but with a poorly organized army and little determination among the troops, their efforts soon collapsed. The French were finally defeated at Dien Bien Phu on the 8th of May 1954 by the communist general Vo Nguyen Giap. The French troops withdrew, leaving a buffer zone separating the North and South and set up elections in order to form a government in the South. The communist regime set up its headquarters in Hanoi under the leadership of Ho Chi Minh. Many North Vietnamese left the country and fled south where the self proclaimed president, Ngo Dinh Diem had formed the Republic of Vietnam.
