Planning for Sustainable Village Development.JIT KUMAR GUPTA
Villages remain valuable and critical for India's growth and development. Ignoring village will be counter-productive for the nation and urban India. Rural India needs empowerment and skilling to use the large manpower resource available with the villages. Agriculture needs reinvention and redefinition to make it more productive and for bringing more dividends. Villages need to be planned and designed with all basic amenities and services so to make them self-reliant and self-sustaining to enable them grow as inclusive human settlements. Villages offer enormous opportunities to leverage the growth provided they co-operate, collaborate and come on the same platform of thoughts and action . Most of the rural ills have genesis in the rural population which remain self-created and self-imposed. Solution are obvious with the villagers themselves. Time is ripe to empower Rural India to overcome those problems through its own innovations and actions to make India global leaders and to make urban India more effective and efficient, clean, green and sustainable.
As a part of internship at MGNCRE, I have prepared this report on a village in Andhra Pradesh. This report typically includes PRA tools to document the problems of the village. I am currently pursuing MBA in Rural Management at KIIT School of Rural Management.

National housing policies have focused on providing housing for low-income groups but have largely ignored the homeless population. While night shelter schemes exist, their coverage is limited. The document estimates Delhi's homeless population to be over 100,000 based on various studies but notes this group remains deprived of proper attention or coverage under government schemes.
A prodrug is an inactive pharmacological compound that is metabolized into an active drug within the body. Prodrugs improve drug properties like membrane permeability, absorption, distribution, solubility, metabolism, toxicity and elimination. Common prodrug types include carrier-linked prodrugs where an active drug is linked to a carrier group that is enzymatically removed, and bioprecursors that are metabolized into the active drug. Prodrugs can prolong a drug's duration of action by slowing its release and conversion into the active form in tissues and blood. While prodrugs provide benefits like reduced toxicity and improved drug delivery, their design must avoid forming unexpected toxic metabolites during activation.
National urban sanitation policy presentation 5th nov 2009 swetal kSwetal Kanwalu

The policy promotes behavior change, community managed toilets, safe disposal and reuse of treated waste water. It outlines implementation strategies at the national, state, and city levels including capacity building, awareness generation, monitoring, financing, and defining institutional roles. City sanitation plans are to be prepared involving stakeholders and setting targets and standards
Antibiotics are drugs that kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria. They work by either killing bacteria or preventing them from growing and dividing. The most common class of antibiotics are beta-lactam antibiotics, which include penicillins, cephalosporins, monobactams, and carbapenems. Beta-lactam antibiotics work by inhibiting the synthesis of peptidoglycan in bacterial cell walls. Bacteria can develop resistance through producing beta-lactamase enzymes or by altering penicillin-binding proteins. Different classes of beta-lactam antibiotics are named based on the ring structure they are fused to.

1) The document discusses form based codes for transit oriented development (TOD) communities. It argues that current development norms will lead to sprawl if densification is not properly guided.
2) Form based codes regulate development based on urban form rather than land use. They focus on the quality of the public realm and pedestrian experience. The document provides examples of how form based codes can require active ground floors, minimal setbacks, sufficient connectivity, and open spaces.

As the meeting ground of three language families, (Indo -Aryan, Dravidian and Austric), Odisha is linguistically one of the most heterogeneous states of India with forty-three languages being spoken in the state. Even though the tribal economy is shaky, tribal culture, in its pristine state, is rich and distinctive and the Adivasis work hard to preserve it.

This document discusses research on the legal recognition of third genders in Bangladesh. It outlines the research questions, methodology, findings and recommendations. The primary research analyzed responses from 60 students on their perceptions of how the legal recognition is reflected in society and how much contribution third genders could provide with full citizen rights. The majority saw little reflection of the recognition and believed third genders could contribute significantly. The secondary research examined how the recognition has not ensured third genders receive full citizen rights. The recommendations call for increasing awareness of the recognition and ensuring the government and society work together to establish third gender rights.
