13. • In November 2013 in a cabinet meeting the honorable
prime minister of Bangladesh has approved the official
recognition of the intersex community as the third
genders or a group of citizens in Bangladesh
.(Chowdhury,2014)
• Article 28(1) further provides that the state should not
discriminate against any citizen on grounds of religion ,
race , caste or sex (Kelly,2009)
• Only because they can not produce child they are being
deprived of their deserved rights and being treated as
outsider of the society even after recognition. This
isolation of this community is not right. As citizens
intersex community’s people deserve all the citizen rights
(Akramul,2006,pp.29-34)
14. The data I collected did match my hypothesis because
for each of the questions the majority answered my
target answers which supports my hypothesis. Almost
for every question I got highly supporting response to
my hypothesis. Also every other information that I have
found that supported my hypothesis .So from all these
findings I can conclude that intersex community can
play a very positive role for the country if we ensure
them the constitutional rights as per recognition which
they are not getting properly yet.
SUMMERY OF MY RESEARCH FINDINGS
15. RECOMMENDATIONS
AWARENESS SHOULD BE INCREASED ABOUT THE LEGAL
RECOGNITION OF THE INTERSEX COMMUNITY.
CLEAR PROCEDURES SHOULD BE MAINTAINED BY THE
GOVERNMENT
GOVERNMENT AND THE GENERAL PEOPLE SHOULD WORK
TOGETHER FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THIRD GENDER
RIGHTS
16. Third genders or intersex community can turn into a very positive
group of people for our country if they get enough chance to
flourish themselves in their own . But even after being recognized
as citizens or the third genders of Bangladesh they are not having
citizen worthy rights and lives in our country .Their struggle to
survive is not being reduce by the legislation .Proper enforcement
of recognition with clear procedures can help them live citizen
worthy lives. Hence we and our government should work hand in
hand to ensure their rights for having best out of them in aim of
having a country full of socio economic positivity .
Conclusion
