CX Strategy - Presentation to the Human Centred Design Group, Dubai dubai ...User Vision
We presented to the Dubai HCD group on the topic of customer experience and UX strateby. Stepping away from the tactical methods, what are the elements that make up a successful CX strategy in an organisation? What resources are ideally in place and how to balance the enthusiasm of internal 'fans of UX / CX' with the realities of business? What are some of the most useful deliverables to provide to get a successful CX programme started and sustained? We discuss all of this and more in this presentation.
Customer Support Scores: CSAT vs. NPS vs. CESTaskUs
Customer satisfaction is a key performance indicator for business-to-consumer companies, but the abundance of customer service support metrics has made it hard to identify the best way to gauge how your customers actually feel. We help you understand the pros and cons of the most prevalent scoring systems to help you understand your options.

5 Reasons Why Healthcare Data is Unique and Difficult to MeasureHealth Catalyst
Healthcare data is not linear. It is a complex, diverse beast unlike the data of any other industry. There are five ways in particular that make healthcare data unique:
1. Much of the data is in multiple places.
2. The data is structured and unstructured.
3. It has inconsistent and variable definitions; evidence-based practice and new research is coming out every day. 4. The data is complex.
5. Changing regulatory requirements.
The answer for this unpredictability and complexity is the agility of a late-binding Data Warehouse.
How Genentech developed its employee advocacy program | Talent Connect 2016LinkedIn Talent Solutions
Lisa Rose, Genentech
Traci Scovel, Genentech
Employee Advocacy at Genentech engages and equips our community to create and cultivate connections by sharing compelling content about our company and culture.
In 2016, members of Genentech’s corporate staffing organization launched The Genentech Employee Ambassador Program (gEEP), an initiative designed to leverage influencing employees to help identify and attract new talent for a variety of roles across the company. This highly exciting program serves to empower and equip Ambassadors with tools and resources they need for enhanced networking opportunities.
gEEP demonstrates innovation on many levels:
1. By leveraging the networks of our employees and their interactions in various communities (e.g. their alma mater, memberships, associations), we can scale our staffing team without adding headcount.
2. gEEP offers the opportunity to implement new technology that helps share our mission and culture through social media to our employees and their networks. By adopting an employee advocacy platform for social media, we can take our social recruitment campaigns deep into the networks of our employees and beyond.
3. Recruitment in the US is evolving as candidates and employees alike take to sites like Glassdoor.com to learn from each other and not necessarily from the company they’re pursuing directly. By enabling our employees to be ambassadors, we amplify an authentic voice about Genentech to prospective candidates that resonates with their tastes and approach to seeking out a top employer, as well as helping to create a positive candidate experience.

Clinical Data Repository vs. A Data Warehouse - Which Do You Need?Health Catalyst
It can be confusing to know whether or not your health system needs to add a data warehouse unless you understand how it’s different from a clinical data repository. A clinical data repository consolidates data from various clinical sources, such as an EMR, to provide a clinical view of patients. A data warehouse, in comparison, provides a single source of truth for all types of data pulled in from the many source systems across the enterprise. The data warehouse also has these benefits: a faster time to value, flexible architecture to make easy adjustments, reduction in waste and inefficiencies, reduced errors, standardized reports, decreased wait times for reports, data governance and security.
SolarWinds Application Performance End User Survey (Singapore)SolarWinds
The proliferation of BYOD, cloud, SaaS and consumer technologies in the workplace have made the application the disruptive technology that will drive business IT into the coming decades. At the same time, the application delivery chain is becoming more complex to support as applications become more networked, virtualization drives IT infrastructure convergence and abstraction and end users become more mobile. These survey findings highlight the impact of application performance and availability on business end users, and their experiences with and expectations of IT when problems arise. Chief among the findings is that while the application is now the heart of businesses of all sizes and its performance is the lifeblood of success, IT continues to struggle to ensure its performance and availability.

The Expanding Role and Importance of Application Delivery Controllers [Resear...Radware
When it Comes to ADCs, Perception is Not Reality.
The Enterprise Strategy Group and Radware recently conducted a collaborative research project about the current use and future strategies of application delivery controllers (ADCs).
Based on a survey of 243 IT professionals, the research reveals that the role of ADCs has expanded well beyond the historical perception of hardware-based load balancers.
What’s most interesting is that ADCs are becoming a critical component of a defense-in-depth security strategy as enterprises fine-tune security policy and enforcement to align with their sensitive business applications. Organizations are also deploying ADCs as virtual appliances at an increasing rate and taking advantage of ADC functionality from the network through the application layer.
There is a lesson to be learned here: enterprise organizations can get creative with ADC deployments for performance tuning, application-specific services, and critical system protection. Read this research http://www.radware.com/social/esg-adc-research/ to understand the benefits of applying ADCs in this fashion.

Antibiotic Stewardship by Anushri Srivastava.pptxAnushriSrivastav
Stewardship is the act of taking good care of something.
Antimicrobial stewardship is a coordinated program that promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials (including antibiotics), improves patient outcomes, reduces microbial resistance, and decreases the spread of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
WHO launched the Global Antimicrobial Resistance and Use Surveillance System (GLASS) in 2015 to fill knowledge gaps and inform strategies at all levels.
ACCORDING TO apic.org,
Antimicrobial stewardship is a coordinated program that promotes the appropriate use of antimicrobials (including antibiotics), improves patient outcomes, reduces microbial resistance, and decreases the spread of infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
ACCORDING TO pewtrusts.org,
Antibiotic stewardship refers to efforts in doctors’ offices, hospitals, long term care facilities, and other health care settings to ensure that antibiotics are used only when necessary and appropriate
According to WHO,
Antimicrobial stewardship is a systematic approach to educate and support health care professionals to follow evidence-based guidelines for prescribing and administering antimicrobials
In 1996, John McGowan and Dale Gerding first applied the term antimicrobial stewardship, where they suggested a causal association between antimicrobial agent use and resistance. They also focused on the urgency of large-scale controlled trials of antimicrobial-use regulation employing sophisticated epidemiologic methods, molecular typing, and precise resistance mechanism analysis.
Antimicrobial Stewardship(AMS) refers to the optimal selection, dosing, and duration of antimicrobial treatment resulting in the best clinical outcome with minimal side effects to the patients and minimal impact on subsequent resistance.
According to the 2019 report, in the US, more than 2.8 million antibiotic-resistant infections occur each year, and more than 35000 people die. In addition to this, it also mentioned that 223,900 cases of Clostridoides difficile occurred in 2017, of which 12800 people died. The report did not include viruses or parasites

In a subsequent question, respondents were asked about the specific dollar amount of any associated fees. Where there was a fee, respondents
indicated it was usually less than $25,000. However some respondents claimed that for Epic, Cerner, GE, athenahealth, and Allscripts sometimes
the fee was upward of $50,000. It is also worth noting that respondents mentioned many vendors sought some type of revenue share agreement
and that CommonWell fees were around $50,000, which in theory should connect startups to many vendors in the space.
